Hi guys, we have just moved over to SSL, our site is working totally fine with chrome but when you view it in Chrome it says it’s working and secure but all you get is the animated Salient loading wheel going round? https://timberandcanvas.com/ I tried all the normal things like deactivating the plugins but nothing changes? Any ideas?

Hi, I’m having some issues with Visual Composer, in that I can bring up the menu to choose an element, but from there anything I click on has no response. This also applies to making a Text Box in Visual Composer too. As an addition, I loaded the One Page demo content, and when I try and view the content for that page, Visual Composer is blank, I’m assuming the content from the demo page should be there? Thanks

Hey! When inspecting the browser console it looks like the theme assets are being blocked from loading “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)” Can you kindly reach out to your hosting company with that in regards?

Hi! I updated my theme to the latest from 7.0.8 and then I’ve accidently reset the entire options panel instead of just the section. I have a full back up done with backup buddy. The options are stored in the WP database, not in a file within the theme – they reside specifically in the wp_options table. if you have a DB backup, they should be saved in there

All of the errors you’ve pasted above are not coming from Salient – you can see the path /vc-extensions-bundle/depthmodal/vc-extensions-depthmodal.php – it’s coming from the plugin you have “vc-extensions-bundle”

I would just like to report an awkward functionality while trying to use the new icon element.
By associating a link to the icon, instead of the icon figure serving as a link, we get the link working only if you click outside the icon itself.
It happens with Font Awesome, but not with Iconsmind, among the two I tested (both have social icons).
I guess it is useful to know about it as I think it was not done on purpose.

Is there a way to have a portfolio item appear in a lightbox rather than load a new page? It would be great to have something like this http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-frostwave/portfolio/table-rocket/ in a similar deisgn to appear over the portfolio with an option on the top right to just close the lightbox and continue viewing all of the portfolio items without having to wait for the page to load again.

Footer formatting not showing correctly on certain pages. All plugins are current. I’m using woocommerce and WC Vendors. On the Vendor Application page the footer doesn’t show full width for some reason, it shows in a “container”. Is there an additional “div” tag needed at the end of the template page?

Yes, but I don’t think this will get you there: http://ganjaly.com/dashboard/?terms=1 It’s during the signup process of applying to be a vendor. So if you navigate to the following: http://ganjaly.com/my-account-2/ then go through the signup process you can see on the “Vendor Application” page at the bottom. The black box should extend the full width of the screen and not in the “container” that it seems to be displaying.

Hey, it seems that some html isn’t being closed in that form as the footer div is ending up inside of the main content container – which could occur if a div was opened but never closed. Have you verified in the form that all HTML tags that are opened are indeed closed correctly?
I have counted an odd number of tags….there should be an even number of tags, not odd. This is an error in the theme, not any of my plugin templates. Can you please fix this?

The page template being used in the form page with the issue is the same page.php file used on other standard pages such as your home http://ganjaly.com/ – there’s no unclosed markup included in the page.php by default. When you purchase the theme you get 6 months support included, if this issue came about after that time period you would need to extend your support to get to the support forum. However, I looked at your site code again and have found that you have an anchor tag that’s written incorrectly. I am trying to flip my site to HTTPS, and yet, the majority of the issues seem to be stemming from the redux framework (font protocol is incorrect, jQuery is not loaded due to protocol, etc).
A quick glance at redux seems to suggest it is protocol agnostic, and yet, on page render, it spits out http, not https.
Has Salient edited some part to not be protocol agnostic? Am I missing a step here?

Turns out the problem was my iThemes Security plugin. The “SSL” option was “ENABLED”, and since I am using CloudFlare, they were conflicting.

Hi guys,
Not sure if I’ve discovered a bug or not … but I’m having an issue with my centered logo being cut in half using the Nectar Slider.
http://www.site4.brisbne.pl/See the main logo is cut. This only happens when using a slider that has both a light and dark text option. If I make all the slides light text, the problem goes away.
Any ideas?

It’s working fine on the Classic style. I’ve also noticed that the problem on the directional based content movement is actually just when any dark slide is used. All light slides and the logo is fine. All (or any) dark slides and the logo cuts in half… strange.

Hey guys, huge fan of the Salient theme. If you’re reading this, my #1 request would be individual column video backgrounds with rollover options. Or some similar way of making this work.
