I may be blind, but I’ve tried but can’t figure out how to add Adding video to header in portfolio, ideal YouTube hosted, but self hosted is okay. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Lightboxes on this page http://www.give-it-away.co.uk/arnott-close-chiswick/ have stopped working. It now opens an image in the parent window (the gallery is below the google map. I’ve tried lots of different options but can’t get the lightbox to work. Can you help. With thanks

Forgot to add… Not sure if this is a bug or how it was intended, but it would be nice if the autorotate feature of the Owl Carousel would continue to rotate after it plays through all slides instead of stopping on the last one.

Image gallery elements can be placed on any page via the page builder. You can then bulk upload the images and drag and drop to reorder

Greetings. People’s heads are getting chopped off on the team member module [meta overlaid alt]. I changed the aspect ratio with 100% width & padding-top on the team-member[data-style=”meta_overlaid_alt”] div and did some positioning.
The only problem is the module is grabbing a thumbnail image – adding ‘600×403’ to the end of it. The original image is a square and the actual 600×403 image is chopping off people’s heads. For each team member I have had to go in and override the inline background-image style, and it is getting tedious.
Please help me save the team members from getting their heads chopped off

Hi ThemeNectar, what is the ETA of the new update for Salient? WP 4.7 seems to have caused quite a few quirks.
Hey hatchtag, the beta will be available shortly – however the only known 4.7 issue is the header navigation button styling option being hidden in appearance > menus. If you have other issues that are occurring please list them so I can take a look
I just updated Salient and Salient Visual Composer to the latest versions, but I’m having some trouble with Salient Visual Composer. When editing a page I don’t get any VC options above the content area and the page is showing very odd. Screenshots here: http://imgur.com/a/b50sZ. I tried submitting a ticket, but my support has run out since I first bought Salient. This seems like a bug though, so I’m not sure how to get it reported and fixed. Do I have to pay for extended support just to report a bug? Seems wonky.

Hi I can’t update the theme. It is telling me “Style.css” file is missing. Any ideas?
UPDATE: I tried to install the downloaded ZIP instead of extracting the theme file from the zip first. SOLVED!!!

Hello guys, i have a serious problem with the visual composer after the latest update.
Salient Visual Composer basically broke. On the front-end of the site i have all the codes of the vc elements instead of the proper appereance.
On the back-end, if i click on “page builder” I cannot see a thing, it is not even displayed the normal wordpress editing area.
Tried to deactivate all the plugins to check if there were some conflicts but it wasn’t the case.
I’m on Salient Visual Composer 4.12.1 Wordpress 4.7

We are using Salient theme for some time now and recently we encountered a problem when trying to update the information on our website. I tried to add a new location on our contact form. Even though the location is saved in the admin page, it doesn’t appear on the website. Also, I experienced the same issue with Footer Copyright Section Text.

In the Salient visual composer portfolio element – it is only available when using the Full width layout. It will show up as an option called “Item Spacing”

Hi guys, for some reason globally applied styles, are not be over written by our child theme…
We have set “body font” sizes in our child theme, but they are not coming through.

I have installed the loco translation plugin and it works in almost every string I’ve translated. It does not work on ‘comments’ string in blog. It is still in english.
