I am afraid we don’t have weekly or monthly price. And we don’t have payment to owner either. We may be able to offer clients the option to get these as addons in the near future, but I always encourage clients to make a decision based on existing features, if these suit them.

Thank you for the comment. Guest no is a mandatory field in submit and in booking form. Removing guest would require custom code and this could be done only with a developer assistance who know basic PHP and who could make the changes you need also in child theme.

Hi, your theme is great! It is the closest i have come across with booking functionality that may be usable for us. Would the theme be able to be used as a pet sitting website, instead of being used for house rentals, instead the pet sitter would be the ‘product’ as per say instead of a rental property and a user new to the site looking for a petsitter, could then go on the site, could then book, if the pet sitter in their area was available?
Would this be easily doable / able to be done within the functionality of your theme?

—> I am afraid not. Each user submitting property would have to add minimum number of days for each booking from submit / edit property form.
2. Who pays the site admin fee – The listing owner or the person booking a listing?
-> The user submitting the request has to make the payment of the admin fee, but the admin fee is deducted from total invoice for that booking.

—> The admin fee is calculated for each booking request. If this is set, then the fee must be paid for each booking.

-> The theme can allow admin to set submission based on paid listing. This means there is a fee for submitting listing and an extra fee to make the listing featured. The fee for submission must be different than 0, so it must be paid before a listing is made featured. And this submission style doesn’t have expiration. It’s one time payment and the submission doesn’t expire.

The theme purpose has been from the beginning to allow users to list and book their own listings. The entire theme is build based on this idea. We didn’t think of making this a hotel booking style theme – with multiple rooms per property. Managing a multi-room property calendar with different bookings per room from one property management area is not possible in the current theme code configuration.
From your comment, If I understand correctly, adding a property for each room is not an issue. The problem is that you don’t wish to display each room as a single property on the map? If I understand right, I am not sure if this is something we can manage in core as a global solution. Perhaps there is a way with custom development to restrict certain categories from showing in the map. In the list you can use different categories and list properties from the categories you wish to show.
If you can give me more info about what you would need, I will discuss further with my colleagues to see if there is something we can do or if you can do something specific with custom development.

Hello, Did I read correctly that currently the admin % fee is not collected through the website and the admin would need to contact the listing owner to work out payment another way (by phone, by mail, in person, online – paypal, credit card, check, etc)?

The admin booking fee (can be a % of total booking, exluding city or cleaning fee or a fixed amount) is collected through the theme by: stripe, paypal or wire transfer (offline payment).
The rest of the payment (which should go to owner) that’s something we don’t support. It should be handled outside the theme.

If you need to use the theme for a single hotel and each room to be a single property, that could be used.

If you refer to the names of the categories http://prntscr.com/dx5ech and sizes, that is editable from admin.
To list properties from different categories on different pages, you can use several options. Properties list – for example – http://wprentals.org/properties-list-sidebar-left/

This is a presale question – I just want to confirm the theme can do everything I need it to. Below are a list of things I would be needing:
- iCal synced with Tokeet for each property - Take direct payments for bookings through Stripe (50% or 100% payment if the booking is made within 14 days of arrival - Possible for guest receive a confirmation email with details of booking - Google Map locations for each property - Guests can log in and see overview of booking - Owners can log in and have access to the properties we manage on their behalf
We currently use Tokeet to manage all of our other platforms eg. Booking.com, Airbnb, Home Away and want to make sure the theme can sync with Tokeet so we don’t get any double bookings.
Basically we want our clients to be able to come to us direct instead of using other platforms. Is this all possible on this theme?

Thank you for the interest in our theme. I haven’t worked with TOKEET before and I tried to look over their demos to understand how they export the ical feed for each property, but I didn’t find this.
Based on this info, please see my reply below
- iCal synced with Tokeet for each property
—> This would have to be tested with your tokeet account. I can give a test admin account to a different domain where you can publish your own property and add the feed from tokeet to see if it works.
- Take direct payments for bookings through Stripe (50% or 100% payment if the booking is made within 14 days of arrival
—We don’t have such an option. —Our theme can do this now: you can set the admin fee to a % from total booking (this excludes cleaning and city fee, but in next update we’ll add the option to include these too), regardless of when the booking is sent.
Also, our theme doesn’t support payment to owner.
- Possible for guest receive a confirmation email with details of booking
—> We don’t have this info in the confirmation email. The user only gets a notification that his booking is confirmed, and details can be checked on his acount on the domain with wprentals installed
- Google Map locations for each property
—> This is possible. You can see how it works here http://wprentals.org/properties/victorian-bed-breakfast/ and using our test account (test/1234) you can submit a property to see how location is set.
- Guests can log in and see overview of booking
—> Yes, this is possible. It would look like this in My Reservations tab http://prntscr.com/dwqnxp
- Owners can log in and have access to the properties we manage on their behalf
—> The theme works like this. Submissions of properties must be done in front end to have access to the full property options (custom price, calendar, ical feed) If you wish to manage this as admin on clients behalf, there is a plugin to login as a certain user, but the properties must be submitted and managed from front end. It’s up to you if you will create accounts for each of your client and give them username/password.
Booking requests notifications are sent to the email attached to a user account.

Further to my previous message I have now purchased the theme. It gives an option to pay $50 to install the theme. I have done the initial installation but if I paid the $50 would they set up the google map API, change my php limit from 40mb to the recommended 96mb and all the other little errors its popping up with?

Thank you very much for buying the theme. $50 extra is not needed. Envato offers that separately from theme purchase and those money are not for us.
Changing the limits of server is not part of that fee. Only installation of the theme and demo – which we can help as well without any cost.
Increasing memory should be done by your hosting (it’s a 2 minute job for them) and it should be free.
Adding the API key should be done from your gmail account. I can add a test API, but you should add your own from your own google account.

—> The theme options include only one field for admin fee. You can set 20% (or any %) and it excludes city / cleaning fee or a fixed amount.

Thank you very much for the interest in our theme. I am not able to offer a timeline on this addon or how it will be offered when it will be available, so please make your decision only on existing features, if they meet your project needs as they are now.
The Availability Calendar is managed like this. From Edit Property you can go to Calendar – and add your own bookings.
All bookings made in the theme (from other users or your own) are in My Bookings but they show only if there is at least 1 published property in that account. As we have manual approval of submissions enabled on demo, we don’t approve new submissions to be able to maintain a clear demo. But I just added a property to test account user/1234 – http://wprentals.org and you can check My Bookings to see what I mean.

A while back I reported this to WPML. They didn’t get back to me – said they were working on some updates. After that, I tested with WPML latest version and on my test area with WPML I couldn’t replicate. I just did the same test successfully.
How I replicated initially, before updated WPML to latest version, was on translated taxonomies versions.
In your URL – I see it’s happening in default language. Do you have default language set to Italian? DO you have latest WPML? Please let me know so I can test again to see if I can replicate, and if yes I fwd this again to WPML asap.
Also, since for this I must get WPML support as well, please open a ticket here http://support.wpestate.org/ so I can keep you updated on the progress I have with them.

I don’t use WPML. I just made it_IT (italian) po and mo files, setting language “italian” to them, uploaded in languages folder and editing them with a plugin. Italian is the only language of the site, as well for my wp installation. As soon as possible I’ll try to test if using default po and mo it works.

The username “user” and password “1234” only gives me a crippled view of what is happening. Any chance there is an account with higher privileges or perhaps some other free demo of the theme so I can get a sense of the work flow?
Also, does WP Rentals Booking integrate with any 3rd party channel manager like Ezee Reservations?
Finally, this theme would be for a stand-alone Vacation Home Rental Business where we don’t need users to login. I presume I can turn that functionality off or at least hide it with CSS or a child theme.

—> The demo user/1234 is a standard subscriber account that has in our theme submits properties, can manage his own reservations and can also send booking requests to other properties. In this account you also see how a property calendar is managed (if you wish to add manual bookings) or use ical fee. That is set in edit property – last step http://prntscr.com/dw9bfd
—> In main demo a property cannot be approved as we keep the demo clean. But I can give another test area for you to create your own accounts and send submissions. You can also access admin area to see what other theme options exists. For this please email me at annapx0909@gmail.com

Now the booking request must be reviewed (approved or rejected) by the user who submits the property. In next theme update we will allow each user to check (or leave blank) the option for instant booking – no approval required. BUT this will still work with users must register option.
