Hello. Is it possible to have a unique menu in navigation per page? I’d like to remove the menu on homepage, and only have the menu appear on inside pages.

1. As of now a different top menu can’t be used on different pages, however the page submenu element and full page rows feature can both display a page specific navigation.
2. This can be handled with css – if you can share the URL in regards you want to remove the menu, I could supply the needed snippet

If i change the opacity on the header background, it does not change on front end. Any idea why this might be happening ?

I was looking through all the comments in here trying to find a solution for my problem but unfortunately I didn’t find it. I am using the fullscreen rows and I am trying to build on the bottom of the first row an inner row that contains a ‘menu’(icons and text that links to a row ID within that page) when I first scroll first I would like when that specific inner row(‘menu’) touches the top of the page to become a ‘sticky header’ and stay there for the rest of the rows if that makes sense. If the scrolling part is not possible would it be possible to give that inner row a class and with custom CSS to make its position fixed throughout the fullscreen rows?

on my page i have 4 flipboxes. Each of them have an icon and small title. All of the titles are centered except one: “Ajalehereklaamid”.

Hi. I can’t find a way to make the mobile header transparent.
On mobile a white header is always visible, what makes my text logo “disappear”, because on dark background my text logo is white (as it should be). So I want the header to be transparent on mobile.
My current options: Off – Header Sticky On Mobile; On – Header Permanent Transparent; On – Header Inherit Row Color;
Before you ask me to open a ticket on your website, my support expired, I just have too many issues with Salient, so purchasing a new theme with support would worth it better, rather than paying half the amount to extend it for this theme.

I’d like to make the videos not as tall but haven’t had any luck with the CSS.

I’m currently seeing that video display in the normal 16:9 aspect ratio, are you seeing it display taller than that? Or are you just trying to reduce the height while keeping it in a 16:9 aspect? (which would also require reducing the width)

Correct, I want to keep the HD aspect (and realize it will have to stay justified), but I wanted to adjust the height for the video that takes place of the featured image. It is eating up too much room for my liking. That element only calls in the single most recent post.

and you could also enable minifcation, would I would recommend https://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-minify/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/
Also, I see you have quite a few plugins loaded, any you can afford to disable will improve the load speed a little

So there seems to be a little bug i think on the categories. i’ve got several categories and for some reason when the page loads the default should be “All” but unfortunately it isn’t it’s preselected the second one. Is there a fix? URL is www.eliteticket.co.uk

Great theme! I am having an issue where the uploaded image on my home page nectar slider gets cropped on mobile. I have enabled “flexible slider height” and “display full width” to no avail. Viewing via portrait on an iPhone SE. If I turn the phone to landscape, then I am able to see the complete image. What am I missing? Is it possible for this issue to happen due to image dimensions when uploading an image to “media” via wordpress? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, you also have the fullscreen option on – which keeps the slider to the same dimensions of your viewport. On portrait mobile the aspect ratio would be much different than your uploaded image, causing cropping. Turn off the fullscreen option and follow the FAQ flexible height sizing to fix this http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/sliders/#nectar-slider

1. Please try and use the visual composer icon element instead of the older nectar icon shortcode in a text block
2. I see you’ve converted your video to webm, but you also need an mp4 version of the video. Run the video through here http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4 and supply both the webm and mp4 file types for your video BG

Is there a way to change a blog post’s “Masonry Item Sizing” setting without affecting the post’s rendering in the “Blog” element I have on my front page (3 latest posts)?
I’d like to be able to set a post’s sizing to “Large Featured” to make it pop in the blog page, for instance, but have it display normally on the front page preview. Right now, it breaks the layout on the front page, forcing me to chose between blog page variety or a clean front page

EDIT: Oh nevermind! The checkbox appeared when I changed the font color. Not sure if it’s intended or a bug, but it’s all good now.
And a third one (I’m sorry!) I’d like to have my blog post headers to be set to “full height”, but with the dark layer that you automatically get with “variable height minimal”. That way, my title stays easily readable and I don’t need to upload a custom darkened version of my header. Is there a way to do that?

1. The upcoming update, which is due out very soon is actually going to add a style to the recent posts element that mimics the regular size of the masonry layout. This will allow for exactly what you’re looking to do.
2. Instead of assigning the “posts page” to your blog page in Settings > reading, you’d need to create the blog display from the blog element in the Salient VC, this will allow you to place a recent posts element above it.

I love the new full screen rows option! But really sad that there isn’t the option to do this for portfolio items! And portfolio items miss out on the option of full screen headers also. Please include this in your next update!

1. As of now there’s no option to change the Nectar Slider text effect – however if you change the “overall style” to “directional based movement” it will behave a bit differently, as seen in the slider here: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-blog
2. The fullscreen page header option is coming in the next update (which will be out soon)
