Easiest way would be to use our “HTML” element, which allows you to do this, because adding your own element is not trivial. Anyway we can also add this functionality (before / after image) as a new element, in next 7 days, if you are interested

After tested other js before/after plugins, I’m sure that this plugin is the best because it is RESPONSIVE ! The code is simple and works well with bootstrap, and other javascript like popup (fancybox, lightview)...

A few questions: 1) I’m using Blog Classic 1. If I click on the pagination to get to the next Blogpages, the Page is always refreshing. But I want it like a slider…how can I get this?
2) I’m using Interactiv Slider on my Homepage, how can I change the hight of the Slider? Tried a lot but couldn’t figure it out :/
3) On my Contactpage I’m using the Map. I can see the Map for a few seconds but then it get’s grey and a ”!” appears.

Thank you for contacting us, let me answer your questions:
1) Yes, this is a regular pagination so the page will refresh between page 1 and 2 etcetera. With a little effort it is indeed possible to re-build the same blog element you are using into a slider. Please start a topic on our forums (scroll down on that page) and include your wp-login using the red private button and a link to your site again. I will then show you how to do it using only the Fresh Builder (without any coding required). It is a very flexible system.
2) This particular slider element is not meant to be used as a fullscreen slider because the size of the slider is determined by the size of the image inside the active slide. If you would like to have a fullscreen slider try using elements such as Custom Slider or Custom Carousel. Or even use the Revolution Slider plugin that is bundled with The Ark for free, it has the most options when it comes to fullscreen sliders. You can insert Revolution Sliders that you have created into Fresh Builder by using our Revolution Slider element. It will show you a list of your sliders so you can select which one to display. Then you can of course place it anywhere on your website by dragging&dropping our Revolution Slider element at your preferred placement.
3) It sounds like an issue with Google API key that is required by Google if you want to use their maps on your website. Please visit “WP-admin > Ark > Theme Options” and there you can change your API key. If you already have one there, please re-do the process from scratch by obtaining a new key from Google.

1) Okay, I wrote you in the Forum.
2) With changing the height of the images the slider is now the way I wanted.
3) I already had an API Code and now I re-did it three times but the problem is still there… :/
4) Now there is a new problem… All of my headers look different since the update yesterday… As long as the toolbar is displayed everything looks okay but without the toolbar or if somebody else looks at this page the Logo is there 4 or 5 times and everything looks wrong. I tried other Headers…but it’s the same with every header… Please HELP!

3.) Your google map throws this authentification error. Could you please double check, that you filled your website url or project correctly? If so, I’ll forward this ticket to our developer who did maps
4.) Don’t worry, I just cleaned the Fresh Performance Cache and it all works now (WP Admin > Settings > Performance Cache > Delete Cache)

Thank you for your question, I will do my best to explain the steps but if you would need more details, please know that we are here to help you so just ask anything that you would like to know.
1) Activate font families that you want to use on your website in “Ark > Theme Options”. Then you will be able to select them in the Fresh Builder when building your website.
2) Every element has it’s own set of Global Styles. You can add new Global Styles by clicking on the blue bubble next to the Element name in the top left corner of the Element editation popup. Or just leave it at “Default” if you want to apply this retrospectively to all the other Headings you have inserted in the past which naturally have already “Default” pre-selected –– this depends on your needs.
3) Add an Element called Heading and set it’s Global Style to a new style called for example “My Big Heading”. Then you can use the Box Model, Typography, element.style and Custom Code tabs to customize the size, design, font-family, etc. Make sure that you switch from “Instance” to “Global” (these are the smaller tabs under the bigger tabs) and do these changes there.
4) Now you can add another new Element called Heading and all you need to do is to switch it’s Global Style in the upper left corner from “Default” to “My Big Heading” and you will have the same styles as the preview element.

Hello, I have a small problem with the gallery. While using image slider i would love to have previous and next button to navigate between images. I defined link type – Lightbox Image, but there is no popup-navigation which is actually supported in Portfolio. I have no need to use portfolio, i need only a simple gallery with navigation when the image is opened – is there any workaround ? Thanks and cheers guys, amazing theme!

We have something in the works in terms of simple gallery features but at the moment you would need to use that Portfolio element. It has options to look like a slider by the way and you can specify that you want to load only a certain portfolio category so you can easily show only what you need.

I see.. maybe there is some chance for seeing this option in the next update? It may be a little time consuming to add each photo in portfolio. It would be great to use one portfolio with all images inside, but i cant see that possibility. Cheers

This depends on what else will sit on the same line with logo, so the rule of thumb is that your logo can be as wide as the space you see there if you remove the logo. There is no one-fits-all answer to this question.

It can be any size you want, try uploading small size and if it will be blurry you can upload a larger size. 1000px in width is a good start for any background image. iPad has a resolution of 1024×768px, retina iPad has double that amount.

Nope – I uploaded that – I think it had to do with the size maybe. So my developer is trying now via FTP.
I got error – I think it need to ask the developer of the new theme. I have error “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in /home/proycweaver1/public_html/2017/wp-content/plugins/ark-core/builder/elements/Team/Team13/class.ffElTeam13.php on line 223”

We support wide range of plugins, like WPML, Woo Commerce, YOAST Seo and many others. But it’s literally impossible to achieve 100% work rates, because many of these plugins are non-standardized or poorly developed. If you open a ticket, we can investigate it and provide assistance

I’m glad to hear that you figured it by your own. There is easy way to add ID for every element presented on the page. It can be done via system tab “element.style”, which allows you to write many useful things, like ID, class, attributes, change style attribute and many more.
But this is the unique thing on Ark, that you can achieve one thing by multiple ways.

The script was to take the #hashtag from the href and have it slide to a div with the id “hashtag”. The script conflicted with the accordion, I need to find a new solution. Would be dope if Ark had one out of the box, being able to click on a button and have it slide you to a desired section on the webpage.

I have a question before I buy. I would like to have a video background playing with music upon landing, and have a button on that page to play a specific video as a pop up (similar to how you’re doing it in the tutorial on the info page for Ark). Can I do that over a video background AND, will I be able to stop the background video and mute the background sound for the pop up video to play over it? Thanks!

1.) Youtube video backgrounds are pretty easy to use, but now they can be only muted. Since more people asked about the music in video backgrounds, I just added it to the task list and will be implemented in one of the next releases
2.) Video Lightbox Button – this is pretty easy and straightforward, just insert button, select the correct link (lightbox) and you are set up. Few clicks in Ark, 1 hour of coding in competitive themes
3.) Stopping the BG videos – this would require some JS script from your site to achieve this functionality.

1) You can put anything over the video, it’s very modular system
2) At the moment, all background videos have disabled sound, but I think it should be easy to enable by our developers with a checkbox option, just let us know, but so far nobody requested it probably because it’s a little intrusive for website visitors to have audio playing automatically.
3) Regarding pausing the background video and then start playing a popup video, that is not possible because they are not connected, they are two different video objects and it would be hard to connect them together somehow.

When we were developing Ark, our main goal was to make it as easy as possible. So do not worry, simply go to your page editor, and under post content, you should see metabox “Post / Page settings”. Select “Titlebar > None” here, and your titlebar will disappear.

No worries, we are always happy to assist!
1) To remove the white stripe you need to set “margin bottom” to 0px on your Call to Action section. It’s under box model tab.
2) The elements are there but they have white text. On desktop there is a blue background around your text so you can read it but on mobile the background color is not there so you need to add it. You can add it by editing the Column element around your text, go to Box Model tab and insert a Background Color layer, make it blue and select that you only want to display this background layer only on XS and SM breakpoints.

I deleted the ark framework via sftp and i can access wp-admin now. The theme looks beautiful but this is very unsettling. What caused this and can you ensure it won’t happen again?
