The theme is bundled with WP booking System, although you can use whatever booking system you would prefer. So you are not limited to the booking system we bundle. It’s optional, and can be turned off easily.
1 – You can insert a promo code at checkout via WooCommerce. There is no promo code system for the booking system but WooCommerce has this.
2 – Sorry no, there is no check, same day bookings are allowed. Search for availability is coming in our next release.
3 – If you wanted to do add ons, they would need to be done at the WooCommerce level and extras are added on to the entire order, not per day. Extras per day are coming in the next release.
4 – You can view the calendar for each room in the admin, and the days are colour coded to booked, pending, available. You can also make up your own codes too. If you wanted to create a page that has all the calendars in one page for an overview, you can do that.
5 – Each room has one calendar, that calendar has 1 status per day, no inventory. Inventory is coming in our next release.

Hello, you can use any booking system you like. The bundled booking system is add via shortcode so it’s easily replaced. I’m not familiar with PMS or Myallocater. I know there are systems that can certainly work with Myallocater (checkfront).

Is there a way to book for more than one month? When I book from July 1 to August 31 only August 1-31 show up in the cart.
Or from July 15 to August 15 for that matter? It seems once I scroll to the next month on the calendar the previous month gets ignored.

No, that won’t work because you are clicking to go to the next calendar, try displaying two months at the same time. That should help.

On the “download status line” I can see that downloads are right at the beginning, but they will not move forward, they have frozen entirely. When I try to access the links for photo downloads again it says an error has occurred and that the files are not available anymore…

I see you have iCal export support for airbnb etc. But how does that work when it’s one way? The theme will not know about the updates happening at airbnb? Or will it read iCal and update itself?

Hello, and thank you for your interest. That’s right, at this time the WP Booking System that we bundle with is a one way ical sync, meaning that the plugin provides an ical / ics link so that airbnb, google cal etc can pull data from your site but the site cannot import data yet. That’s something we are considering adding but it’s complicated. One nice thing is that you can use most booking plugins with this theme, including awesome services like checkfront. Happy to answer any questions
So it looks like checkfront would do this for us, syncing both ways?
Would the theme support myallocator? It seems like the function I’m looking for that checkfront supports.
I think checkfront does two way sync, you would need to confirm with their website or support first.
As long as the plugin works with WordPress or the embed code works in a regular HTML site, it should be fine. I haven’t tested myallocator yet.

Checkfront only does one-way. It seems like myallocator is the key. But they have no wordpress integration yet. Thanks anyways for the help. I’m checking with my client if they actually only have one-way today, then this theme is good enough out of the box.

Yes. But it felt unnecessary to have checkpoint if I’m only looking for the feature that wyallocator has. Another question, is it possible to set up special rates for Thursday-Sunday. So that if they book at least 2 days, they receive a lower rate, and if they book less than 2 days they receive the higher rate. A bit specific and maybe not directly a question about the theme. But you guys have awesome comment support.
Thanks for the follow up. If you are using WP Booking System that is bundled there is no way to do special rates depending on number of days sorry. The plugin authors are working on daily rates and we are getting a lot closer to releasing that update.
