Please make sure that all plugins are installed and activated.
Also proceed with update ThemeREX Utilities plugin. You can click on “Update” button (if available in a particular theme) or deactivate and delete this plugin. Then follow the prompt to install it again. This will load a new plugin version on the site.

Love the theme so far, quick question.
Event page, I want it to have content. but when I go to the Event > Settings > Display and put HTML in, it only shows when I’m logged in. Anyway to show the content when I’m not the admin, just a browser? Cheers.

Sorry for delayed reply – we don’t work on weekends.
Such issue can be caused by Object cache serviced on server.
Try to rename object-cache.php file in /wp-content/ folder on your server (if there is presented such file).

There are two ways to update your theme:
Update Option 1. Update using WordPress uploader
1) Log into your ThemeForest account and navigate to your downloads tab. Find the theme and download “Installable WordPress file”.
2) Log into your wordPress website and go to Appearance -> Themes
3) Activate a different theme. Delete the previous version of Fire-department and re-upload the new WordPress Installable files that you have downloaded from ThemeForest in the 1st step.
4) Once it uploads, choose to activate the theme.
5) Update the included plugins if you see a notification message letting you know the plugins have a new version.
Update Option 2. Update using FTP client
1) Log into your ThemeForest account and get the last version of the theme as described above.
2) Connect to your server using desktop client software (we recommend CyberDuck and Filezilla)
3) Change directory to /wp-content/themes
4) Remove existing folder with old theme files
5) Unpack theme installable files downloaded from ThemeForest and upload to themes folder
6) Update the included plugins if you see a notification message letting you know the plugins have a new version.

Hello Julia_support. Department version 1.9 seems to be missed the option “enable/disable” of the “Add Comment session” in compairison with version 1.4.?? if not then how to disable the “Add Comment session” in the end of the post? Many thanks in advance.

When I try and customize colors, they do not change
Hello, If you have issues to get colors/font changed via Fonts & Colors section please check following points:
- files permissions (make sure folder skin and files in it are writable);
- memory_limit (try to increase it for your WP if it’s less than 192M; consult with your hosting provider regarding this);
- no empty field (all colorscheme fields are filled with color codes);
- colorscheme you’ve edited is picked at Theme Options.

or

I’d like to know how I can change the url target of each image of the services section (under the slider on the homepage). How can I change the ’’learn more’’ text in the services area as well? Regarding buttons renaming, you can add in shortcode of services link_caption=”your_button-title”
For custom links on services, you should use custom services shortcode – will need to replace the whole slider section code with another.
