Good afternoon! Quick question because I’ve been searching through and can’t quite find the information – I’m sure I looked right past it. >.<
If we were to help a person create a website through this theme on a test domain/server, then migrate it to a live server/domain, how do we deregister the code for the test site then re-enable on the live site? We’re using UpdraftPlus Migrator so it’s almost a perfect copy, not sure if that triggers something in the system that invalidates the code or what – just want to make sure we’re doing it correctly. If you could point me to the appropriate information I would greatly appreciate it – thanks!

What do I need to make my footer like in the Integrity5 Demo?
I installed it over my old content and now the nice demo is erased in the footer :/

The demo content when installed overwrites all customizer settings, once you have the demo installed you want, you can go to wp-admin > appearance > customize > footer and change the values until you get a look you are happy with.

Sorry, I went back to my old theme for now. I read in the discussions that I wasn’t the only one to have this problem. Recording my work quickly each time I change something (custom css, color, words, layout) and wait to actually be recorded makes me lose too much time. 90€ for trash… I’m angry ! I have put this theme aside, maybe I’ll come back to it, when I will have more time or when you will fix this problem with an update. Regards
Regretfully we can’t provide any assistance if we aren’t able to login and check your site. With a user base as large as ours there are bound to be several issues at any given time due to how software works in conjunction to some of the many platforms, plugins, and customization options each customer may make. There are no global bugs or issues with Cornerstone and if ever there are those are fixed quite quickly. From the sound of it, it is related to your internet connection timing out for some reason. Again, we’d be happy to take a look and provide guidance if you’d like us to do so in our support forums.

Posted on your forums but have gotten no response yet. I normally wouldn’t post here, but I’m running on limited time to resolve this.
I’m using the Icon stack and recently decided to install WooCommerce. Added a test product and it’s throwing off errors on shop and product page. Disabled all plugins but Woo, nothing. Switched to 2017 theme and issue went away.
I need some assistance.

Why does my wp dashboard say that the “ConvertPlug” Plugin needs to be updated but when I look at the latest files for the theme it does not have the latest version included. Why because I’m concerned that there may be a security risk if I don’t keep everything up-to-date.
When will you have the theme files updated to the latest versions?

I prefer not to do automatic updates because I’ve had my old website fail when I allowed automatic updates. Because of all the time and money I lost due to those errors I now do my updates manually but I also do backups before and after all changes and updates.
When will you have your theme files updated so I’m able to do this manually?
That will be with our next theme release which as of now is not scheduled. I would highly recommend using the automatic process as the updates are not forced on you when you are configured to get updates that way. You still need to confirm the update on your end to complete it, there is simply a prompt in your WordPress dashboard to do so.

What setup / demo content is used to create the website shown in themeforest when you buy it…the one that show a big landscape and the menu is at bottom? I am trying to create that look and feel.

We don’t have demo content to reproduce this exactly, but it’s based on the settings found with the Ethos 3 demo. You could start by importing that. Next, you could use the “Sales Page” Cornerstone template. This is based off our main sales page and include many of the sections you’ll find there.
This helped a lot thank you. One more question…how do I get the menu to appear on the screen without scrolling? It is just below screen and requires slight scrolling to see. http://demo.theme.co/ethos-3/ shows the full screen images and menu just below yet within view without scrolling. Thank you.
Basically in a more clear manner http://demo.theme.co/ethos-3/ shows the menu at the bottom of screen with no scrolling. My setup has the menu requiring a little scrolling to see. How can I fix that.? Thanks

Thanks for writing in. X doesn’t have options to make something like that as a blog layout, but you could use Cornerstone to create a custom page with a similar layout. Then you could use a plugin like Essential Grid, or The Grid to have a grid of blog items within that page. Both plugins are included for free as part of our Extensions: http://theme.co/x/extensions/

You only have 3 demos of woocommerce? The translation that includes, works for each corner of the website, since it acquired other templates and is not translated in its entirety wocommerce the header header header footer etc.
And investigated the complaints and errors of your template, and I see that many advertising errors after your template update to a higher version, and I strictly follow your update instructions, should not have problems? Or what would happen to my website if I decide not to risk and not update its template, and my website has no problems

Thanks for writing in! The licensing terms for all ThemeForest themes are such that you must purchase 1 license for 1 site. So if you have 3 sites, you would need 3 licenses (again, this is the same for all themes and we have no control over this).
Template issues after updating are typically due to people either not utilizing a child theme or not making the proper changes in the child theme upon update. Personal maintenance of a child theme is important to keep up with at all times to ensure everything is in order.

These are the coding errors I’m getting with my current theme:
1. 4 pages are not W3C compliant. Because there are errors in the code, some web browsers may not be able to read this website correctly and it may not always display correctly. Code Errors: “Bad value https://api.w.org/ for attribute rel on element link: The string https://api.w.org/ is not a registered keyword.” “Element div not allowed as child of element a in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)”
2. 60 links have no text describing their destination. Links on a page should describe their destination for the benefit of both screen readers and search engine spiders. “Add meaningful anchor text that describes the link’s destination. If the link contains an image, ensure you have provided alt text.” **Note: We have no way to add alternate and anchor text to icons, which is what the links are tied to. Therefore, no way to correct it.
3. 5 pages of this website do not appear to be optimised for printing (using CSS) “Add printable stylesheets for all pages, wherever possible. In most cases, websites can share printable stylesheets over many or all pages, as with screen-based stylesheets.”
4. 5 of the pages of this website were found to use presentational HTML elements and/or attributes. It is widely regarded that use of presentational HTML like and
should be avoided.
We are looking for a theme with excellent code quality so that a lot of these errors are avoided and don’t impact our site. Do you know of any coding errors that your theme is receiving, and are you willing to fix them, or will we have to hire custom coders to correct the errors?

Thanks for writing in, most WordPress themes that use Page Builders or similar will have some kind of warnings on the W3C Validator, due to WordPress and how it outputs the markup. Hope that helps!

I know the multisite issue has been addressed before but I’ve read here that you can one license for multisite but separate posts that you need a new license for each sub-domain.

The licensing system will allow you to use X on a multisite with sub directories, i.e, say it’s example.com/yoursubsite. However a site that is a sub domain mapped to a domain, will need it’s own individual license.
