Hi Pirenko, we are using your theme for our website, you can have a look here https://ids.carlocivera.com. Everything is working correctly except for two thing I would like to make some questions.

1. regarding the portfolio is not clear for me how to get your perfect mosaic were every image is small, big, medium, instead if you have a look at our website all images have the same size in the portfolio presentation (when you scroll and see all items)

2. regarding the footer, how we get the footer like this http://www.pirenko-themes.com/hook/architecture/

Hi Pirenko,

There’s an option on the bottom of pages called “Hide menu and navigate using fixed-position rectangles?” just below the “Top menu” option.

What is this for? If i swtich it on the nav bar items jump to the the middle right of the screen, keeping the horizontal alignement and I can see no rectangles anywhere. Tried it on the pulse theme too, same thing happens. Tried it on multiple sites with these templates and I’ve never seen a good use of this.

It would be convenient if switching this on would get the nav items in a vertical alignment with mentioned rectangle marker, like here: http://www.bcg.com

Am i missing something?

Does all the demos have rtl support?

I have installed the theme but when trying to use the 1 click install nothing is being installed. I want to install the single product sale demo theme but when i toggle this one and hit generate content nothing installs and I get no error message.

Hi, I have use hook to my test website. All was ok until I tried to migrate all the site to a new domain. The site is working but when I try to do a change on the theme panel options changes are not applied. Could you help me with this?

Thanks for the modification you made (creating the top header menu). But there is a problem, the language selector (already in the top header) is not seen in the responsive view for mobiles. Please, can you solve it?

Hi Pirenko, Trying to upload an mp4 file I get the error message that this is not allowed due to security measures. I can’t find a section with allowed file types either under ‘settings > media’. It’s not listed. I am the admin.

I tried to add the following code in functions.php at the very bottom, but that made the media library malfunction. Could you advise please? Best, Sander

Problems loading demos

Hi Pirenko,

First, I’m new to WP. I downloaded/installed WP and then downloaded/installed HOOK and they were both operating perfectly. But, I couldn’t understand why the menu for Architecture looked so different when I previewed it compared to on your site, so for some odd reason I tried to reload the One-click installs and got a 500 Internal Server Error.

I ended up just deleting both WP and HOOK installations since nothing new was on there yet (I deleted the database and the associated HOOK plugins) and just did a full re-install of both exactly as I did the first time. But this time, the HOOK logo shows up as broken, even though the image file is where it is supposed to be, although, the alt tag says “Image Not Found On Media Library”.

Also other images are not being found where they are supposed to be because the One-click install page layout in the dashboard is completely jumbled because images are missing/broken.

Are there other files that I should have deleted in addition to what was in the database? Is it an .htaccess issue (which I cannot find)?

I’m going to try and just, again, delete & reinstall WP and HOOK, but if you can tell me of any other files I need to clear I would appreciate it.

I just set up the Hook theme in a closed development environment on my server but I can customize it neither in Wordpress’ very own “theme customizer” nor in the “theme options”.

In the Wordpress section it says: loading but never shows a thing and never stops loading. Within the theme option it seems to be greyed out and I can’t click “Branding” for example.

I’ve increased the PHP memory limit already, as that seemed to the solution to this widespread problem – it didn’t work.

Any ideas?
