3. I would recommend using a width range from 1400px – 1800px and a height from 600px – 800px

Hello, I recently bought the theme SILENT, and I still can not import the demo I want to use. Every time I click IMPORT DEMO, it continues to load but no result. You have the URL entered as ”/#products” – it should either be ”#products” or “http://www.lesenz.com/#products”

In our blog the aspect ratio of images is changed. blog mansory in Salient Builder now injects a style attr with height into every image of the mansory tiles. This breaks the aspect ratio. Is this a know issue?
BTW its the height… it is shortend.

The masonry Style is classic
The images in that masonry style wouldn’t need to be uploaded at a width grater than 600px – the height is up to you

Image with hotspots doubles the amount of hotspots every time I save. and the popups z-index is underneath hard to find CSS. It seems every time I revisit a feature I find bugs. I paid for extended support last year, but still never got my issues fixed. Every time I edit the hot-spots it doubles the amount. I have wasted too much time to use this thing. It is being deleted and I expect left with bugs unless I setup a ticket of which I guess I do not have the subscription too now.

Because you have removed the element from the page I can’t assist with the z-index issue since I can’t replicate that on my end – I would need to see your settings. As far as the duplication of your hotspots I would need to log into your setup to see why that’s occurring since it’s not a known issue. I am sorry, I don’t have the time to debug your software. I am spending more time trying to figure out bugs than actual developing. I decided to just create my own featured product with CSS but it fails to see my css file in the child theme. I am tired of Salient these days. Tracking down current css is near impossible.

Hello, I am having a problem with my raw HTML and CSS. I am trying to create a “responsive landing page”. I created a rough layout and plugged it in; the first time it worked fine, then i tried adding some other elements and now there are two problems:
1) The content just flashes, and once its done loading and the page goes white and the page is only the size of the div. However, the quick flash looks exactly how it should (at this pre-mature state), and when I change the css the content changes as well.
2) It clears all of the visual composer content underneath the raw HTML plug and there is no content under the header even when it does flash.

I had changed the password to “password” and made sure that it works so it should work correctly now.
so I was able to get the content to work again, however only when the row stretch setting was at default. once I switch it to “stretch row,” “stretch row and content” or the third, the content does the flash and disappears. I am trying to make the row be the full height and width of the screen. I made sure to follow the note under the setting as well regarding the CSS overflow setting.

Super quick question! Every time I save a page after editing it in Visual Composer, it adds a row to the end of the page with a blank text box. I delete the box, save it again and the row returns. Every time!

If you use the raw version of VC you’ll lose all of the Salient additions which add a lot power to the theme – you can if you want, but It would be kind of counter intuitive

Everytime there has been a security related update, Salient has released it immediately – ThemeForest has a policy on that for all authors.

The box roll effect is only available for the nectar page header – which isn’t a slider. There’s lot of custom logic in place to create that effect and allowing it to happen on a third party plugin would require some custom development at this time

That would require either adding it via custom html into the theme files or modding the page header function to add a new input to add the html into the backend admin. The current fields available for the page header (title/subtitle) are not suitable for that much html
For those who want a phone number, email adress or anything that look like a Button in menu, just put: button_solid_color into custom link´s css atribute

Couple questions for you: 1. Video Lightbox A. Can we adjust the opacity of the play button in the “Play Button with Preview Image” with CSS? B. Could you offer another option to Video Lightbox that adds a description below or on top of the image – like a portfolio item?
2. Portfolio filter: Can you make a particular filter linkable so you can link to a portfolio page with that filter already selected?Example would be: http://hingedigital.com/work/ -> links to portfolio with default filter http://hingedigital.com/work/#character -> goes to portfolio with character filter3. Nectar Slider: Can you add streaming sources (like vimeo or youtube) to slides? Buffering local .mp4s is slow and they need to be pretty low res to load fast enough. Please? Also, we see a hitch before each slide loads (and/or first part of the slide movie is skipped).

2. I know I’ve asked for this in the past. I would really appreciate if you can add it to the wishlist as it would add important functionality to the portfolio in Salient.
3. This would be very helpful. In the meantime, do you have a suggestion as to get our slider to play more smoothly? We are using fast start .mp4s currently, each is under 500k per movie. In order to make them smaller in file size, I’ve had to make them 640×360, which make them more blurry & pixelated than I’d like.
Any best practices on making them play smoothly, file types, etc?
