We have included the slider images only. Other images are using different types of licenses. So those are not included. Some of them requires special permission, some of them are totally free to use. You can find their links in item details page under “Credits” heading

This is a single post in default items post type. This is not archive or directory page. Which means, you can use it’s title easily Did you try to solution above? The feature named “Show Post Name on Title” in “Appearance > Theme Options > Reading” should allow you to see your item title instead of the word “Portfolio” when viewing single posts.

But I couldn’t understand the other question. Do you want to allow your users to download a file? If this is an item to purchase and download you can use WooCommerce. We are also compatible with WooCommerce

sound great! About the second issue, maybe it is something very easy to solve, this is my first time working on a webpage and I have no idea.

I want to set sort of a free database. I have a host service with unlimited space, but I need to allow the users to find and download the data (I’m more concerned about the interface rather than a database structure). My question is, do you have a predefined page format or do you know a plugin that can help me with it. The data are in geospatial format, it is neither videos nor images. Thank you, JGarcia

If you are a beginner, we have very useful narrated videos for getting started. We also have one click demo installation system. You can find those videos in our Youtube Channel.

When you install WordPress, it will use a database. I don’t know if you ever worked with a database before. But having a free or more database is something related to your hosting. To save and retreive data from database (which is uniqely built for your requirements) it should take some custom work. You may check some free plugins on WordPress. There are a lot of plugins there. You can try those free plugins on a local installation and see which fits best for you. Just make sure if plugin uses shortcode, it returns the output instead of echoing it.

Thank you very much for your quick response. However, I’d rather not purchase the theme / support again just to have this basic / standard iissue answered.

If I was altering code to achieve something out of the ordinary or beyond the basic need of inputting a correctly sized video I’d say sure, I’ll buy again to figure this out. However, like you said, there is code in place thats controlling this 16:9 behavior. Technically / ideally, the foundational code in place should support the uploading of any size video without constraining it to a prearranged size / height.

The fact that its not almost paramount for this to function as expected “out of the gate”, is concerning. In today’s evolving digital landscape, where different work of different sizes needs to be shown, we can’t have one kick ass current WP template that exceeds most all expectations but falls short of this simple, but for video artists, very crucial application.

I’d like to know more about the CSS trick(s) to re-gain this functionality. An answer here, in my messages or courtesy access to your support site for this single question would be greatly appreciated.

Nowadays 16:9 is a standard for videos. There used to be 4:3. But now 4:3 is almost vanished entirely. But I hear what you say. I totally understand it.

Thanks for buying Azoom Theme We haven’t seen any issue like this. It could be related to some 3rd party plugins. I would advise you to first to disable all 3rd party plugins.

Also, we only provide support in our Support Forum. It’s actually very easy to start a new topic there. Simply go to Azoom from the menu. Then scroll down to bottom on the topics. There you’ll find a text area to start a new topic

Thanks for buying Azoom Theme Stirct sidebars come with unselected. I assume it’s selected by your or your developer at some time. But it’s also very easy to unselect.

Simply go to Custom Sidebars and hold on CTRL (CMD on Mac) and click on selected item to unselect it. Then simply click on Save Changes

I assume you haven’t updated the Azoom to the latest version yet (2.0 for now). If you update it to the latest version, that should fix it. That error is related to a change in WordPress 4.7. Azoom 2.0 is WordPress 4.7 ready.

Update the wordpress version to 4.7 and now wordpress no longer recognizes the Azoom theme, as if it had been deleted.

We haven’t seen anything like this before. This should be a server issue. While updating the WordPress, server might break some files. You may want to re-update the WordPress. Also, I would advise you to get in touch with your hosting about this. Because updating WordPress is a very basic feature and server should not limit it in anyway.
