We love the Bellevue theme and it is the stand-out among the many B&B themes in our opinion. However, we have a couple of pre-purchase questions we hope you can help with.
1.We operate a single tourist accommodation apartment and are considering using the Single Page version of the Bellevue Theme to display the kind of information we feel our guests will need to make a decision on whether to book with us or not. But, we would still like the option of being able to add some pages for more detailed info on things to do and see in the area etc. Is this going to be possible/easy?
2. Does your Testimonial section allow for horizontal scrolling, so that more than 3 testimonials can be displayed? If so, can this be done with a slider where a background image and perhaps a link button is possible?
3. Can we add more than one Call to Action button in the same slide of Master Slider at the top of the page?
4. As we have a presence on Airbnb and Tripadvisor as well as our own website, we find it convenient to take booking requests and then contact our guests to discuss payment options (credit card and PayPal only) over the phone. Can we customise the way your template utilises the WP Booking System to do this?

2 – Sorry, the built in testimonial block does not slide but there are many plugins that will accomplish this for you if you wish. We can help share some examples we’ve sent others.
3 – Yes, we provide support for two buttons. They can each have their own style as well.
4 – Yes, you can either set it up to take payment right away or “reserve” and then contact the customer by phone or email after.

Pre-sale question: is there a way to turn off both the header and sticky header entirely for certain pages or taxomomies? This would be convenient in building landing pages in which we wouldn’t want headers being displayed. Thanks!

Thanks so much for getting back with me so quickly. I really appreciate you. If you don’t mind another related quick question. Instead of hiding the header/footer via CSS, is there an option in your theme to turn them off? I ask because we’d like to do custom codes such as PDF print-to-screen and, based on experience, it won’t work if the header has been sent already by the theme. So if we turn off the header easily in your theme, that’d be great. Thanks again.

Showing the start and end dates for the purchase duration is more appropriate then showing e.g. ‘product x10’ as Bellevue currently does.

Hello, yes you can place the calendar on the center of the page. Sorry the header menu is positioned on the right with logo on the left. We do include a child theme and also a place to add your own css so you can easily customize with your own scripts.

Hello! We don’t rent rooms separately; we rent the entire house. Moreover, the prices are different taking into account if the house is rented for a week a fortnight or a month. I have been trying to add Stripe payment to Woocommerce, it’s a plugin addon to Woocommerce and it works in test mode but wouldn’t work in live mode. It has also stopped the booking system from working in the sense, however many days you add it only adds one day when it gets to the checkout.
Would you be able to help with this please?
Hello, thanks for getting in touch. Are you saying that in dev mode the days are correct but when you switch to live it’s not? The text mode / live mode issue would be something to do with the plugin and WooCommerce but to be sure, you can try and activate a default theme like Twenty Fifteen, and see if it works, then you will know that the theme is causing an issue.
As for the days not getting selected, has that ever worked for you? Or is this something new with the stripe plugin? Try using it without the stripe plugin and see if Stripe is causing the issue.

It only adds one day in or out of dev mode. I’ve tried switching Stripe off it still doesn’t work. It did work originally but I have done so much to try and sort the Stripe issue like update the theme, update plugins, update php, swap plugins for different booking plugins spent hours setting them up for them not to work with Woocommerce. I’ve tried several different Stripe plugins. I’ve been trying to sort this for ages.
I can’t think of anything else to try. The booking bit doesn’t even show in the other themes as I’ve added it in the widget area of the rooms page and the widgets don’t work with the other themes.
The Stripe payment works in test mode but the client has tried it with a card and it shows a javasript error. If I renew the support please will you take a look.?

So I’ve updated the theme, the 1 plugin that didn’t update automatically as with the theme I manually updated, updated php, cleared the cache in cpanel, deleted the Stripe plugin and uploaded again, Updated Woocommerce templates and deleted database files left over after plugin deletion.
Sorry that;s the message in the 1st paragraph, I checked for javascript errors but as I know nothing about them I asked on the Stack overflow website and they told me the text that came up wasn’t errors but missing files. I have the details of what showed but it’s saved as an image so can’t paste here.

Go to Settings / permalinks (just go to the page, don’t make any changes) this resets the permalink structure. Click the update / save button. Test again.

Hello, the accordion can be added using the meta box and as a shortcode, the pricing plan is only added via meta box, so you can’t really put the pricing table into an accordion unless you use a pricing plan plugin that supports shortcodes. One of the reasons why I bought Bellevue is because it claimed to have premium versions of certain plugins included. Like for instance A Premium Version of MasterSlider – Responsive Touch Swipe Slider ($20 Value). But when I look at the sliders Masterslider requests an activation key to activate the premium templates. Where can I find this key included in the theme?

Yes, it includes the Pro version of Master Slider but they don’t provide keys for the bundled plugins, we simply update their pro version when a new version comes out, via our theme download.

Beautiful template. We are very interested in using this template for our website, www.porcellinogallery.com in Florence, Italy. We are currently workin with a company that we are not satisfied with any more, but before we make the change, I have some questions.
1) Can this template be integrated with the existing website? By this I mean how the transfer would work, if there would be any loss in website URL or SEO we’ve achieved over time.
2) Could it work with the booking engine we currently have? If we have to change it, is this easy and will there be no problems with transferring the current booking engine?
Basically it comes down to being unsure of how the transfer would impact the website itself, if there would be any downtime etc.
Alternatively, we would consider making a new website. In this case, can the bookings via the old website be integrated in the new one?

Hello, thank you for your interest. Are you looking to hire us to set the website for you? This is a stock product but we also can be hired for setup.
1 – If you install the theme, your current setup will look different. It depends if you are currently using WordPress? If so, did you create your WP site using a page builder?
Regardless if what you have now, you will be able to pull the images and text into the new Bellevue theme manually.
2 – The booking engine is optional. Yes you should be able to use your currently booking system. Is it WordPress compatible? Are you using a plugin? Do you have a booking service provider or are you using software?
When you work with a web person do setup the theme, you should be able to set it up behind the scenes and then flip the switch with minimal downtime
To carry over the old booking s you would need to manually enter them, I would recommend continue using the existing one if it’s compatible or start fresh with a new one.

We would like to set it up ourselves, if possible. It is not a WP website currently, we hired a company to create it for us. The booking engine is managed and created by ‘Koobi’, an Italian web agency.
Do you think it would simply be best to start all over, considering it seems quite easy and fast to just copy the informations and re-upload the photos? Also, is it possible to keep our URL? Thank you!
I would also like to know if there’s a way we can preview the website, to use a demo where we could upload our photos just to see what it would look like.

Since you are going from non wordpress to wordpress, I recommend creating a development site that you install a fresh version of wordpress, then install Bellevue, upload the demo content, and then copy and paste the text and content over. You can can use a simple layout and just copy the next and images into the main content editor, or you can use our meta box / page builder to enhance your website with our special content types. I think hiring a company to help you would be a good idea. Someone who is familiar with WordPress and WordPress themes.

Yes, you would either setup a development sub site if you wanted to keep the existing site up and running, or you can remove your old site and install a fresh version of WordPress, but it sounds like you want to reference your old content to move it over to your new site, so a development sub site would make more sense. 1 – The theme works with fine with SEO plugins as far as I know. We’ve used yoast and it’s bee fine. Some text Yoast has trouble reading for word count but all other features works well. hello Ana, the speed is good, we use W3 Total Cache to help cache images and things, which makes it faster. Yes you can create a thank you page, we don’t have one specifically that comes with the theme. Cheers!
