Hi there, how can i have NEXT & PREVIOUS BUTTON OR LINK on a single post page. By default i am only getting next post. how can i have both Previous & Next post link where applicable.

Firstly Thank-you for Salient v8.0, It’s amazing.
We spoke briefly earlier about making the sub menu transparent, This update has done that. Is there a way to make the hover in the sub menu also transparent? I’m struggling to find the line of Code.
I thought it was #sub-menu-hover { background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.9) } but that isn’t working. Any ideas?

Hey SeanAUS120! Yes, I added the option to do this easily through a child theme thinking there would be scenarios just as you’ve described – in your child theme functions.php, add this:
function add_salient_studio_to_vc() { return false; }
LOVE 8.0! Quick question on the image hotspots. Was hoping the update would address the tool tip text having the ability to be linkable text. Would this be a customization a developer could do without messing up the theme? Or do you have a work around? Much Thanks! Mike

Hey dcung24, eCommerce functionality is supported through the WooCommerce plugin. The AJAX header can be turned in the Salient options panel > WooCommerce tab
After an update to 8.0 hiding items from large and medium screens in column responsive option doesn’t work. Do you know how to fix it?

Just downloaded 8.0. There’s a line in the theme style.css file:
.row .col img:not([srcset]){width: auto;}
that is overriding one of my visual composer widgets that normally sets the images to 35px, now they are huge. I fixed it in my child theme but thought your devs should know
- {line-spacing: 1.6em} Maybe there was a global spacing variable but I couldn’t find it.

So I have an ecccomerce website and i want customers to know what currency they are dealing with before they make a purchase. I would like to add a symbol (USD, CAD..) beside the price so customers know what currency we are using.
How do I add this to my website?
Also, is there a “SOLD OUT” symbol that I can add over the product picture so customers know when a product is out of stock.

Hey sandman101, by default WooCommerce does show the currency symbol near your products price – could you share your URL in regards so I can see your settings? Also for the out of stock overlay, check this out in regards

Updated to v8, but still getting Salient 7.6 on the top left at wp-admin/admin.php?page=Salient&tab=1 even though settings are clearly showing v8 upgrades

The version number should pull from the stylesheet version, which is listed at 8.0 – are you using a child theme and have you cleared your cache?
Oh, I decided to keep the old CSS that I worked on, but will go through the child theme route instead. Thanks and congrats!
