Great theme! I have a couple requests that I think other customers would appreciate as well:
1. A Lead Generation Demo – You could make the theme compatible with MailChimp, Aweber, Leadpages, Campaign Monitor, ConvertKit, OntraPort, Infusionsoft, etc so we can easily build email lists within a custom section shortcode or page within the Brooklyn theme. This type of demo will appeal to those launching apps, books, trying to grow their social media followers and build a brand.
2. Incorporate a custom Woocommerce shortcode baked right into the Brooklyn theme. This will allow site owners to sell products using the theme without fear of breaking the code or crashing the site. This feature would tie nicely into the suggestion above where site visitors can easily opt-in and subscribe to the site/email list.
3. Video Gallery with Modal/Lightbox Feature – It would be great to show a little more love to video producers and have a shortcode that allows for a YouTUbe video gallery/playlist to be embedded in any page or section in the site. Users can click to open the video in a lightbox or fullscreen mode.
4. Embed Recent Instagram Posts into a Lightbox Gallery – This custom shortcode would automatically pull in the users most recent Instagram posts into a beautiful gallery that can also be added to any section or page within the Brooklyn Theme.

Woocommerce has a high priority and will be definitely added but not with 4.3, which will be the next huge update. However, woo commerce already works but it has no own theme, means it will display with the default woo commerce theme. Email signup should be covered by a third party tool such as mailchimp: https://mailchimp.com/

Already implemented for Version 4.3

I think you may have said something similar last time. In January you said February and its now March. We’ve put alot of trime time into this site and its fairly bland. And still no page for features so people can see what they’re getting before they buy.

I bought this theme some time ago and have been having issues with the filters and some of the settings. Now I thought I’d try the 4.5.2 version, but cannot install it. Could this be an issue with my PHP version? My web hosted is running on 5.2.17. I tried installing it locally, running on PHP 5.4.39 and it installs…. and ideas?

yes, 4.2.5 should run at least on PHP 5.4 or higher. As per recommendation by WordPress itself it should be at least 5.6.

This theme needs longer support. Major code changes over the last year have created new problems that didn’t exist before. Now the theme options panel crashes sites’ due to fatal errors from exhausting PHP memory limits. Needless to say, this essentially makes the theme useless in many PHP settings.

In my portfolio it loads the page but row 2&3 overlap each other. If I click a filter it shows properly. A way around this is to add a ’#’ to the end of the url but not sure why its doing this. Has anyone else experienced this?

with some clientes i have problems with the portfolio, de slide up version charge very lazy, slow. And the ligthbox in many cases doesnt work properly, do you going fix that in the next release, i think the slide up its much clean fast and beautiful without that load symbol and more its slow… I want to purchase this theme, because very clients have it and i really like work with your theme, bur this two things makes me stop rigth now. Can I translate the contact section? I translated the entire page with WPML plugin. But that part is within the configurations of the subject.

these parts are located inside the String Translation of WPML.If it’s not present when searching for the strings, open the theme options, switch the language and simply save it once. Now they should appear.

Under WPML you have an extra menu item named “String Translation”, this is where you can find the fields you are looking for. If this menu item is missing, it might be necessary that you need an additional translation plugin from WPML which was part of your purchase as well. wpml-string-translation is the plugin name.
