I think you are using the PHP 7 version. Can you please change your PHP 7 version into PHP 5.6 because Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer did not support the PHP 7 version. So please before installing the Demo change the PHP version and after install the Demo you can revert back to PHP 7 version for the fast speed. I hope PHP 5.6 version did not create the problem for you.

IMPORTANT: The included plugins need to be installed and activated before you install a demo. Please check the Porto >> “System Status” tab to ensure your server meets all requirements for a successful import. Settings that need attention will be listed in red.

You should use login attempt plugin and also use McAfee SECURE WordPress Plugins for virus, there is no any issue and security issue in home page 6, because that is not only a page, not a theme, there will be issue in your hosting or may be on your local machine where you are operating this site, because sometimes FTP make this type of issues by your local machine.

No, sorry to say that the images are only for demo purposes, once you import demo content it will come into your site but you will need to change these images before launching your site. Envato license does not allow usage of these same images in final public site.

The requirement of FTP is only for them when we are not able to get the issue properly, so we will ask for FTP for debugging the customer’s site and solve their issues. If you are not willing to give us FTP then it’s not must require. But please make sure that you have fulfilled all the theme requirements before installing the Demo.
