In current situation, we do not have Fresh Builder elements for customizing your WooCommerce product single page. For product archive, we have 1 element only, which can be heavily customized.

Anyway our woocommerce support is now comparable with other themes, but we do not offer our outanding customisation abilities, which you know from other parts of our theme. These things are scheduled in our “Full Custom Post Type integration” update, but it can take up to 3 months to fully integrate them.

If this is a dealbreaker, feel free to grab your no-questions-asked refund.

1) however, these plugins have been updated

2) What is the expected behavior after clicking “update above all”? Mine, is redirected to the “http://example.com/?updater_action=update” but shown the site content

I did find a plugin to play a playlist from a URL linked mp3. The user interface on the backend (wp admin) looks correct, but when I publish to my homepage (at bottom) it looks completely wrong and has no controls. Is this something that Ark is doing to the interface per the design structure, or is this plugin (cue from audiotheme) not compatible with Ark? The site is www.donovanthemovie.com

Checked out the Music Player for WooCommerce and it doesn’t work at all either. The play button does nothing. I’m wondering if the theme won’t support any of these options, in which case, I’ll need to find something else. Any thoughts on how to get these to work? Thanks

We have a mega menu which can be seen on our main demo when you hover over the PAGES menu item.

Regarding Typekit we don’t have it – yet. You are the first one to ask about it I think. It’s definitely something we can have in the future when we have more users so there would be plenty of people to actually use this feature. In the meantime, it can be integrated on your own with a little effort. You can use CSS classes to assign your Typekit fonts to elements or sub-elements.

About the table, this is great idea. What we will do definitely in near future is showing these info’s at the frontend (we plan to do some developer console accessible only if you are logged in as admin).

About your other suggestions, I think that we implemented more than 50% of it, some other suggestions are still on the table (especially the admin screen for editing all layouts), but unfortunately we have finite amount of time and we need to prioritize our tasks. We are also in middle of hiring support guys and already hired some guys for creating demo’s. This should greatly increase our development time available, so we will be able to deliver much faster.If you have any more feedback, could you please send it to us through email? Also if you have something you need to add acutely, let us know and we will try to add it asap.

1.) It works for us without any problems. Could you please let me know, what step is problematic for you?

2.) Mailchimp can be easily integrated through their own forms and our element “HTML”. Of course we have better mailchimp integration on our roadmap, but since you can build your formfields in mailchimp and there is api authentification etc etc, it’s not a trivial problem to solve. And there is good working alternative, so we have prioritized other things. But this will definitely be enhanced in the future.

3.) This is also tricky, because the SC Wrapper needs to be wrapped by some HTML element (like div preferably) in order to make it bulletproof. But I added it to our trello and we will discuss it with team. If we figure out, that we can safely implement, then we add it soon In the meantime, you can use element “Wrapper”, which has the system tabs available.

4.) This is something we want to implement as well. We have some preferable ways of doing it, but if you want, you can give us some feedback / tips

Thanks for noticing this, we are happy you like it! We have also modified the default data for new installations so next time you do a new website on Ark, there will be only one header, titlebar and footer pre-selected. Previously we have maybe 3 menus and 2 titlebars in use and it was unnecessarily confusing for some new users so we have streamlined it now. But you will still have around 15 headers etc pre-installed, just not pre-selected. This change went hand in hand with the new Global Layout feature that can be used to have global fallbacks for things like headers etc.

By the way, try changing “Ark > Theme Options > Global Layout > Boxed Wrapper” to “Default Boxed Wrapper” instead of “None”, that way you should see the new boxed functionality in action. You can then just revert this option back to “None”.

Yes, the option that hides the topbar upon scrolling can be turned off at:

“WP-admin > Ark > Headers > Your header > Header Settings”.

You can insert anything you want into the topbar, there is a Fresh Builder canvas for that area. You can find it at:

“WP-admin > Ark > Headers > Your header > Topbar Builder”

I believe this works as intended, the submenu should start where the header ends. But if you really want to bring the sub-menu closer to your menu items then you can add (and customize) the following CSS code via Appearance > Custom Code>

Thanks for coming back to us on this. We are still working on it, we have released a big update today that was in the works for the past month. Now we have 2 big things on our todo list (among many small improvements of course) and that’s custom post type integration/builder and galleries. Since galleries can be created using plugins or with our built-in Portfolio feature now, we are spending more development resources on the other thing, which is also the more requested one by our users. The new gallery builder is definitely coming, it’s just everything takes time in development so we thank you for your patience while we work on this.

Thanks for info. Building gallery using portfolio is ok for main page gallery when you have something inside portfolio single page, but when you try to build just gallery, there is to much work for so simple task. If native wordpress gallery would be styled properly then we could use text area module and WP gallery as workaround. Whole idea is to avoid plugins. We need simple solution like native gallery or something similar as portfolio but with much simpler image selection.

Anyway, hope it will come soon and be as good as other modules

The Ark comes with a premium Fresh Custom Code plugin for free so if you have installed and activated it, you can then insert JavaScript code via:

“WP-admin > Appearance > Custom Code”

There you insert your code and also select type as “JavaScript” and code placement in “header”.

I solved by increasing max_execution_time to 90. I’ve tryed some times again, often with a “Server error” message, so I changed the execution time and solved
