I have version 2.1 and I’m trying to update on development environment. But for some reason, when is done, the custom post type properties disappear. I mean, it don’t appear anymore on wordpress admin sidebar nor the single property page exist. Say’s broken link.
But on homepage still shows the property slider and the property grid, with a broken links to singles.
Did you change the post type id or name between theme versions? there are special update steps to make the update from this version?

it says on the changelog that mailchimp for WP is supported. How do I integrate and use it with the theme? Mailchimp is already installed on my site.

You can integrate the MailChimp plugin with your MailChimp API Key as I have displayed in the following screenshot.
After that, you can use MailChimp widget to drop any widgetized area.

In the front-end “Submit property” page, how can I organize/divide the Features (checkboxes) into related groups?
For example:
Indoor Features: – Fireplace – etc
Outdoor Features: – Swimming Pool – etc
At the moment it is all in alphabetical order and is not very logical.
Can you tell me wich file should I affect to change it?

1) Does your theme support iHomefinder Optima Express for IDX integration? dsIDXpress has many problems and very poor support.
2) Can there be an IDX horizontal search box on the home page?

While adding a property you have to drag the location marker to your desired coordinate and its Lat and Lang values will be stored in database.
So you can easily user Real Homes for remote places.

We are still experiencing a high volume of robot spam (mainly Russian) that is some how making it though the Google Re-Captcha on the Agent Contact forms on the clients site. We have tried your suggestion and installed the WP-SpamShield Anti-Spam plugin but this has made no effect on the volume of spam that is still getting through. We have tested the form captcha intensively and cannot find any holes but there must be something in the code that is allowing these robots to get around the protection. One of the notes in the WP-SpamShield docs states “If you are using front-end anti-spam plugins (CAPTCHAs, challenge questions, etc), be sure they are disabled/uninstalled since there’s no longer a need for them, and these could likely conflict.”. Should we disable the Google recaptcha in the theme’s general settings? The client is becoming increasing upset about this robot spam and we must implement a solution….Thank you.

why cant the property search be ajax like most modern searches i don’t want to fill in each suburb or city. Users should only have to type 3 letters of their address and it automatically come up. Cant be that hard to do?

is it possible to edit the text manually instead of using a plugin? we are more comfortable doing that instead of using a plugin as not all plugins tends to have great support.
if thats the only way then can you give us a quick instruction?
also another thing is that is there any way we can have the “Property ID” to have or generate an automatic ID if we choose example “For sale” in the status or “For Rent” then to show an ID example like “FS-000” for sale and “FR-000”.
