As we always write this information in Aurum release notes: “Laborator recommends not updating WooCommerce to a newer version than 2.6.14 before we release compatible version of latest WooCommerce update”.

Great theme love it! I want to change the dropdown buttons on the product pages to radio buttons with small black boxes around them. Can you please tell me the custom CSS how to. Because I’ve been trying to use plugins in achieve this but unfortunately none work with Aurum

They are by default horizontally aligned, if you have used any plugin then it may have changed the direction of them.

We are not allowed by Visual Composer to send files manually, why are you not updating the theme completely? We have just released the new update today and it is up to date with all the plugins. If you haven’t changed any of the theme files then there’s no need to be afraid of.

1. Can I put something else in the footer, different form the location? 2. In the product page, where can I put a longer description? Or can I make it as in the Aurum fashion template with Description and Additional Information? 3. Is it possible to remove the review option? 4. What format is the logo? Can I upload a picture (how big?) or only writing? 5. Is it possible on the category page not to show the price? So you can see the price only when you enter the product. 6. Is it possible to have an ‘about us’ and ‘contact’ page in the main menu? 7. Is it possible to have a different number of post on the homepage? Like instead of 4 I want to put only 2.

1. The footer is actually a sidebar and you can use any of the widgets used on sidebar.
2. For longer description you can use the description and additional information, like in our theme and that is possible on every WooCommerce theme.
3. Yes, that’s possible but you will need to disable it manually for each items as WooCommerce works this way.
4. There’s no format for the logo, you can add any size and there will not be problem.
5. Yes, you can do this through CSS, we can give you the exact CSS for it.
6. Of course, that’s something you can manage on your own.
7. Yes, these can all be managed easily.

The theme is built upon WooCommerce so the payment and other general shopping settings are inherited from it, these are not part that depends on a theme whether it supports or not, what I want to say is that if WooCommerce supports this then the theme must support it too. All the theme strings are built for a multi lingual site and can be translated to any other language that you want.

The slider activation process is a nightmare. Instructions are not clear. We are still wondering how it works despite wading through pages of documentation. Annoying. Don’t buy this theme!
I was unable to get support from the author who takes 2 days to reply… because their support software ticksy was down for maintenance. ridiculous.

Starting today, we are using a SSL certificate on the page and we noticed a problem with one link of the Aurum theme.
It’s when you are on the single product page > click Add to cart -> then go on the cart icon—> click view cart
I will attach a picture of the url where the user is sent to. As you can see, it’s without https

How can I change the preset order of the attributes of a product in Aurum BookStore?
Just wanted to mention something I noticed:
1. When I activating full site SSL, my custom logo disappears.
2. When on the cart or checkout page in mozilla (in ssl mode), clicking on the logo takes you to page with no stylesheets because its “https://” linked instead of “http://” linked . Chrome auto redirects but firefox does not.
Ideally only my cart and checkout would be SSL.

If you are uaing an older version please update your theme to the latest version and this problem should be solved.

You are using an old version of our theme 2.9.5 , the latest version for the moment is 2.9.6, please update your theme first and then the premium plugins too.
The easiest way to update your theme is if you use Envato Market plugin. Just follow this little procedure http://drops.laborator.co/pLFH
After you update the theme, there is a chance that we also updated some of the plugins that we offer.
To update those plugins to the latest version that we support, just go to Appearance > Install Plugins.
If you can’t update any premium plugin there, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete that plugin, then install it by going to Appearance > Install Plugins page again.
