If the page builder doesn’t work with dummy content, how can i create a homepage as shown in de demo site? What is the reason for importing dummy content in the first place if the page builder can’t handle these shortcodes. It seems that the SoulMedic theme dummy data created by the shortcode builder, So it can’t change/switch into page builder modules content by updating the option from Dashboard > SoulMedic > Page Builder > Update Content. You have to customize those content by shortcode builder only. So you can use either shortcode builder/ page builder to create the page contents. You can’t use both shortcode and page builder in one page.
For Page builder option for created new pages you need to enable the page builder option from Dashboard > Soulmedic > Page Builder > Here you need to Choose any of these post types to activate page builder.

Hi, Actually i don’t have an option in my Dashboard. I do have a menu item SoulMedic but that leads to a customizer page. There is a Page Builder page but there is only one sentence: “Please activate “DesignThemes Core Features Plugin” to get the Page Builder options.” I can’t find that plugin. I posted that question on your Facebookpage. I did install Unyson as i read in one threat whiel researching this topic. But …. apparently i need the core features plugin. You have activated the All in One SEO Pack in your site, so that only it overwrites our default SEO option settings in the page.
If you want to change the home page title using the All in One SEO Pack, then get into Admin Panel > All in one SEO > General Settings > Home Page Settings > Home Title here you can change the home title.

Thats strange yes:) We will wait the outcome. BTW we have also changed the bg color from style.css under wp-content/themes/soulmedic. Each time when we close and re-open the browser the back ground color turns back to its default color. Is there any other place to change the bg color? Regards

I know that we have too many questions but we really have to do too many things with this theme. It’s great one no doubt but we face too many problems. I downloaded the latest version and I tried installing the theme and wanted to import the demo. However, the DesignThemes Core Features Plugin is still showing as 1.1
Followed the steps and as per your instructions and still does not work. I know that my support is expired however, I dont need support but need this bug to be fixed and I can install it myself.
I have already installed and uninstalled the theme and also extracted the plugin from the zip file and again installed still there is no way that the demo content import is possible.
Let me know how we can go about this.

Have you had any recent reports of issues with Tabs? Trying to use vertical ones, latest wordpress and latest theme, and the vertical tabs just do not work – everything gets shown all at once.

1) The featured image issue in the post page is due to the plugin “Shortcodes Ultimate”. We have disabled that plugin and the issue has been fixed. Please have a look.

3) The default loading of the wordpress editor is the “Visual” mode and you can easily switch it to “Text” mode from the switch tab.

No! You can’t fix the first problem by simply disable the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin! That plugin has been working well. The problem is your new version 1.8.7 of Soulmedic theme! Now after you disabled Shortcodes Ultimate plugin, our website www.tcmcentre.com.au is not working! All shortcode are not working. You didn’t see that after you disabled the plugin as what you saw is from the cache!!! Please fix that as soon as possible as this affect our business.
I may have to restore our website from a backup as I know you can’t simply enable the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin.
The “Shortcode Ultimate” plugin came with the Soulmedic theme when I purchased the theme. It is functional with the theme features. It can’t be disabled!!! I tried that in my development environment. Also if I disable that plugin, add post and set featured images, and then re-enable the Shortcode Ultimate plugin, some of my webpages not working properly. For example, the google maps stopped working!

1) Since the “Ultimate Shortcodes” plugin was disabled the shortcodes of that plugin will not work. We have just re-enabled the plugin and the home page which was using its shortcodes is showing up. But the featured image problem will arise again. So you need to check this issue with the plugin support team.
2) The “Ultimate Shortcodes” plugin was the cause for the featured image that you have explained and we have got the same issue with many of our clients and that plugin was causing the issue. Also the “Ultimate Shortcodes” plugin does not come with our theme. We have not included it in any of our theme versions.
3) We have tested the google maps in a test page http://www.tcmcentre.com.au/testpage/ and it is showing up fine.
