Hi I just purchased this theme, but do I still need to purchase layerslider and visual-composer to get activation keys?
I tried to enter the activation code for the theme but it didn’t work for the layerslider and visual-composer.

We bought extended license for these plugins (Visual Composer and Layer Slider), and we can’t give you license code because of policy and terms of Theme Forest, because of that we included these plugins in our theme (you can find plugins in theme folder/plugins/ there are installation files of these plugins), also we will update these plugins to the latest version with theme update so you just need to wait for next theme update and there will be the latest version of plugins if it exists.
Then when you update theme you just need to go to your back-end Plugins and to deactivate/delete these plugin then you will get some notification to install necessary plugins to our theme, then just click to install/activate again these plugins and that will be all. If you don’t get this notification to install necessary plugins, then just go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload -> Find these plugins in our theme folder/plugins select one by one and click import/install.
You can ignore messages about activation these plugins, you have/get inside Plugin settings.

PHP version should be at least 5.4. Keep in mind WP recommend PHP 7 at this point. Also, we advice you to use this PHP resources:

Updated the Theme/Wordpress and finding now that links are providing errors and not currently working properly. The website is: mocafilms.co when clicking the footer meta “Log in” it does nothing and when clicking portfolio title links (not lightbox) I get the “Fatal error: Call to undefined function WP_Filesystem() in /mocafilms.co/wp-content/themes/moose/templates/portfolio/portfolio-small-images.php on line 103

Morning, thanks for your response so far- I disabled all 3rd party plugins, and I get the same error. Internal links that aren’t anchors don’t work, while external target links are okay. Also the same “Fatal Error call to undefined…” comes up when trying to link to portfolio items when not lightboxed. Any other suggestions?
- I’ve disabled loading animations for the website, and it seems for the most part the internal links are working. It’s just the portfolio title link now that’s still giving the “Fatal Error”

The original photo you upload for your logo should be twice bigger than the one you want to be displayed on site, because of retina rule.
So, for example, if you want your logo displayed as 200×100 px, you should upload original photo as 400×200px.
And in Elated Options -> Header, you set the header height initially and on scroll if you use sticky header type, note that logo can\’t be displayed bigger than that height you set there , so it will be restricted in height by the Header Height you have set.

Hy, I have a huge issue: When I want to edit my Homepage with Visual Composer 5.0.1, the editor is not loading and i can’t edit the page. When I want to edit other pages it is working properly when I disable the plugin “elated CPT”. Otherwise it is also not working! After disabling the plugin “elated CPT” the Visual Composer is loading on every page except my homepage. I have updated everything to the latest version but it is still not working. You just need to update your theme to the latest version we released 1.7 , then update Visual Composer to 5.0.1 we included in it, and clear cache.

Can you please replace your ‘Elated Tabs’ with the default Visual Composer Tabs? The Visual Composer tabs is so much better. It’s listed under ‘deprecated’, but is not really deprecated. Do you just need to update the theme to use a current version of Visual Composer?

There is no possibility for this, since we can not change themes features that we created. We have over 1400 customers and unfortunately we are not in position to change some features for individual requests. We hope you can understand that!

I understand it can’t be changed just for me, but why create your own modules when Visual Composer does it better? It’s just the layout of it. Take a quick look at the Visual Composer Tabs module. The layout looks like the actual tabs in the WP backend. With the Elated Tabs module, the layout is pretty messy. It just a matter of updating the layout of Elated Tabs (and pushing out a theme update). I’d think all your customers (across all your themes) would want this.

Hi there. 2 pre-buy questions:
1) How customisable is the main slider? I would need to put 2 logos somewhere on the sliders edge. The idea is to have b&w logos on sliders edge – when mouse over they become coloured – when clicked you go to another site. If this is possible, would it be responsive? As in seen also on iPads, iPhones etc.?
2) Is the “Essential Features” pull-up box in the right bottom corner included? If not am I able to get it somewhere to work as fluently as yours does?

1) You could set images and to add little png images over slider which can be linked to other page. Also there is option to link a button on the slider to other page.
2) There is no option to create this in theme unfortunately. It is custom element which is created only for landing page.

Hi. Thanks for your fast response. I have spent quite some time to find the theme that suits us so I will try to find workarounds to be still able to use this theme. Hope that is ok.
1) In this case can I still have text on slides along these little png images? If I put them in the upper left corner would this be responsive and seen ok on other devices? Also is b&w option with colours on mouse-over achievable?
2) I am a little confused here. On your demo the pull-up box is also on the homepage not only on landing page. Do you mean you developed this only for your use and it is not available for us? Asking because I need something like this for “book now” button which should be visible at least on homepage at all times, possibly throughout the website. If possible I don’t want a plugin for this since it never works as good as original theme functions. If I understood correctly do you have some idea how to achieve what I need?
3) Now I am checking the demo page with iPhone. The “scroll down” text and icon are too big for my taste – can this be configured to be smaller on tablets and smart phones?
4) I will need fullscreen images of sport activities within the main slider but I have a feeling the load time of the website will be horrible once implemented. By my calculations every .png will be around 200-300KB, which means 1MB if there are multiple images. What if I make a video out of images and put youtube video in the slider – do you think this could work better?
5) When the site is finished can I count on your support to optimise it speed-wise?
6) Is there also a boxed version (not full width) to see somewhere? This could solve slow loading times..

1) You can have text slide, beside that png and it should be responsive. Also, there is no way to achieve b&w option with colors.
2) This is additional functionality created only for demo example. In order to achieve something like that, you should use 3rd party plugins if you know some which could help!
3) Yes, it can be. Our support team could help you with that.
4) The best way is to optimize images with some available tool. It is the most successful way to speed up the website. We have not optimized images in our demo example, that is why it takes a bit more time to load then it should.
5) Our support could check it and give you some advises how to improve it.
6) Yes, there is option for boxed version.
