Hey, do You make theme update? How much it cost? Now I have SM 3.04, and want to update to last version. Of course everything is messed up and I don’t want to set it up all over again.

Hi guys – I tried logging in on the support page but apparently my license has expired recently and I’m not gonna pay $40 to report a bug/break in Simplemag. Your help in the past has been great so I hope you’ll read my message here.
I’m running the most recent installs of Wordpress, Simplemag and Woocommerce. When I was updating some products recently I noticed a few options don’t work anymore – there’s any issue with the variations in particular on the edit page where normally the variations load, now it just keep loading indefinitely.
I found out after some testing it’s not any of the plugins causing the conflict, but it’s Simplemag.
A few things I’ve found:
When I activate Simplemag I get this message:
“Your theme (SimpleMag Child Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.”
On the product edit page when trying to open variations, Chrome console revealed to me a Select2 Ajax error:

I have a question regarding the quote post type. It seems that there’s a character limit (the rest of the text is truncated with ’...’). Is there a way to change that? For example, by adjusting the size of the font somewhere.

Number of words can be controlled in the
Theme Options → Post Item → Excerpt Length
Alternatively, you can put your text into the Excerpt box beneath the post editor.

What is the best way to add a
tag to my homepage and “All posts” page? Since I like the style of my current blog, I don’t really want a visible title anywhere, so I need to hide it as best as I can.

H1 tag on Homepage: add the Text Box section and then select the “Heading 1 option”
H1 tag on Posts Page: Navigate to Theme Options -> Posts Page tab and select the title behavior in the “Page Title” option.
Hi there; we’ve bought the theme and are happy with it. I’ve translated with Poedit and uploaded de_DE.mo and de_DE.po to the languages folder in the child theme but the translation did not work. Do you know whats the problem?

Your theme update broke my site. Not happy at all about this. The slider is no longer working and I am unable to locate the slider in the theme. Very much regretting installing the update now because my website is in deplorable condition.
As well, it does not seem to matter whether or not you rename the file. I cannot download the updated theme (even with changed file name) because the theme already exists in my site.
You guys really should do a better job at informing your customers in the future. Given how little I generally need advice, paying for another support doesn;t seem worth it considering your advice has never helped me with my issues using your theme.

I have a problem in the homepage to show the lastest entries.
In two of three blocks (Reportajes y Breves), the web can’t display the lastest entries by date.
I cheked the post feed blocks of this two blocks, and they have the same configuration than the first but don’t display the lastest entries.
What’s the problem with it?.

The posts are shown in descending chronological order, from new to old. The first one is the latest published, not the latest modified.
Do your posts appear in random date?
If you using the Posts Feed blocks to show recent posts form a certain category “Latest By Category”, please note also if a category has subcategories underneath it, then those subcategories appear in the section.
Sorry, all was correct in the configuration, all unless the field “Start From Post No.” which had assigned a “3”.
So, that block is correctly working now.

I bought this theme ages ago and haven’t updated it (my bad). I am trying to update the files from Version 3.0.4 to Version 4.3 but when I do, it breaks my site and messes with the layout and everything. Did the theme change that much between versions?
Is there any way to keep the current layout and have the updated theme?

Some sections were changed, but there is the “Posts Feed” section in the latest version which have all the old layouts and styling.
Please see the demo to learn about the new version features.
I recommend you to change simplemag.zip to something like simlemagnew.zip before installing, this way you can have two versions and switch between the two.

Hey, I getting really frustrated with your Support Center Homepage (to watch Videos and Guides for Simplemag). Wasted 2 Hours only to Log in!
