Quick question:
The title for the Blog posts is a
tag. For SEO purposes it would be more beneficial to be a tag. Any thoughts on updating that? The current is very large and could be switched to a with ease.

You can easily edit the tag for blog post title in content.php file. We suggest you copy it to the child theme and do your changes there.

Hello! I have “masonry grid” and “products with different sizes” enabled, but it is still showing my product images on the shopping landing page cropped to a perfect square, with black sides. I do not want it to show black backgrounds behind the store images.

Probably, you just need to increase images sizes in WooCommerce -> Products -> Display to make images fit the space.

Probably, you have turned on a “catalog mode”. Disable it in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Catalog mode.

I upgraded my Basel – Responsive eCommerce Theme to 3.0, As a result, I lost the Logo and top bar customization. Wen I tried to customize the theme so I can update my logo, the top bar, and the footer, all I only see are the following menus: Site Identity, Menus, Widgets, Static Front Page, and Addtional CSS.

Could you please explain what do you mean by logo and top bar customization? If you are talking about logo images and topbar colors for example so you can change them in Theme Settings -> Header.

Hi, Yes that is exactly what I meant by that. The issue is I don’t have the Theme Settings menu anymore after the upgrade. And in the Customize, all the options I have were what I listed. I also lost my Yoast SEO plugin after the upgrade.
I had to restore a backup from a day before the upgrade. I am back with Basel v 2.10
Can you send me the version 2.11 files so I can upgrade to it and then to 3.0 to see if that works? Do you think that will work better.

Is it possible to not have the ajax shop page scroll down when you click through different product categories on the sidebar? I’d prefer to keep the page at the top of the screen, instead of pushed down an inch or so while looking at the site. thanks =)

If you go to your demo site: https://demo.xtemos.com/basel/shop/?shopleft , and click “watches” in the sidebar for example, the page scrolls down an inch or so. My header is larger, so it is much more noticeable on my site.
Sorry, but there is no option for this. Page scrolls to the page title section after AJAX complete.
There is nothing I could tweak to prevent the scroll from happening?

To update the theme you need to download the latest version on ThemeForest -> Downloads. Then just reupload new theme via Appearance -> Themes but install this plugin firstly https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ Also, we suggest you make a backup of all your files before any update.

This issue comes from your WordPress file and not related to our theme. You can switch to some other theme and check does it happen with Basel only. Also, try to disable all additional plugins.
