Hi team,
I just purchased theme yesterday. I cannot import demo content on my website. Can you help me to import demo content. Through theme widget, it’s not working.
Thanks
Hey there!
I’m Fernando, I work for the support department of Astoundify and it’s great to talk to you today!
A lot of the time this is due to your hosting provider blocking the import request. Due to the block, it will not allow you to import the content on your website.
Reach out to your hosting and ask them to remove any blocks on requests done on your website.
If you need further assistance, we are looking forward to helping you over on our help desk.
Cheers! Fernando
Hello, I’m considering purchasing this theme and use it as a niche portal (store and job board) that I’m developing for a client. I have a few questions and I hope you can clarify my doubts. I would like to know if it is possible to implement the following funcionalities:
1. The candidate must pay an yearly fee to post a resume/cv.
2. Contact info (phone, email, address) on resume should not be visible to visitors, only to employers (members).
3. Employers should pay a fee to be become members and post jobs or contact candidates.
4. I need to create a store, my client will be selling a range of professional products (including to members). I see the theme is Woocommerce compatible and I read somewhere that Woocommerce could only be used to create/sell job posts
I am wondering if there is a way to use it to set up the store also, or if I would have to create the store separately.
Please let me know if your theme offers any of these options, if I should get some plugins or even if you guys can customize it to fit my client’s need.
Thank you
Hello!
Thanks for reaching out and having an interest in Jobify! I do apologize for the delay today!
Question: 1. The candidate must pay an yearly fee to post a resume/cv.
Answer: Yes is is possible. When you use the Resume Manager plugin you allow candidates to submit resumes/cv. After you can charge yearly recurring fee using both the Paid Listings plugin and WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.
Question: 2. Contact info (phone, email, address) on resume should not be visible to visitors, only to employers (members).
Answer: By default, all content will be visible on the employer page. There is no restriction system in place. You may need to add this feature with plugins like Restrict Content Pro.
Question: 3. Employers should pay a fee to be become members and post jobs or contact candidates.
Answer: Using the Paid Listings plugin you can create packages similar to Candidates to charge employers fees to post jobs. Unfortunately, there is no restiction in place to prevent users from contacting candidates.
Question: 4. I need to create a store, my client will be selling a range of professional products (including to members). I see the theme is Woocommerce compatible and I read somewhere that Woocommerce could only be used to create/sell job posts
I am wondering if there is a way to use it to set up the store also, or if I would have to create the store separately.
Answer:You will have a store by default. You can create Listing packages for jobs and candidates, but also sell products that appear on the default shop page. See the default shop page here: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/shop/
Hope this answers your questions today!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Thank you, Fernando
Glad to help!
How do we use the Job/Resume: Logo widget? There is only a title field to add text. How do we have the widget show a company logo? Thank you.
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well! Sorry for the wait, we have been at this years Pressnomics conference.
There should be a logo option found at the very bottom of the submission form. If you have a look at this image you can see where it is found. See here.
Once an image is uploaded it will be displayed on the job page itself.
Hope this helps, but feel free to contact us through support.
Cheers! Fernando
Noticed your announcement that you’ve released Listing Tags support as an addon. Wondering if it’s similar to the WP Job Manager Tags addon and if there’s any significant differences in functionality. Thanks!
Hey!
Hope you are doing well and thank you for your patience!
So at this moment, the two are practically the same. We just recommend using ours since it is maintained by us and is compatible with our theme!
Hope this helps answer your question today!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
how can i show remaining job package in the my account .. i want to show the remaining job post in my account …how can i do this,,,please help
Hello there!
Thank for your questions and I do apologize for the delay.
Not entirely sure what you mean by your question. What I can mention is all job packages will be displayed on the pricing page. After a user purchases a package, a user can always view their purchase or job listings within the appropriate dashboard.
If you need further assistance with this, please contact us through support.

I’ve been using a page builder plugin – site origin – and it has been working fine for the last few weeks I’ve been building the test site. However, when I moved my files over to my live domain, each time I make an edit to a page and update or publish, everything on the page converts to a text block and all page builder elements are removed. This wasn’t the case last week… have there been any updates or changes that could have impacted this?
I know this theme is build to use widgets, but some pages that I want to create simply can’t be done without a page builder. Please advise. Thanks,
Hello there,
Thanks for your question! I do apologize for the delay.
Unfortunately, Jobify at this moment does not have any support for any Page Building plugins at this time.
We did release an update back on the 29th of March, but can’t see why there would be any issues now.
I would reach out to the plugin developers, they may provide better insight on what the issue could be.
Cheers! Fernando
thanks for getting back to me. We managed to sort this issue but updating to php 7
Glad to hear!
Hi, I have 2 questions.
1) When you post a job on the site as a client. You have the field DESCRIPTION. It’s just very basic, here you can change to Bold, Italic and can put in a link. When you post a job from the dashboard there you have much more options, like inserting a picture etc. How do I get the DESCRIPTION from the dashboard into my frontend “Post a job”
2) About the pictures. It isn’t clear to me how come I upload one picture as company logo and direct there are different sizes on my server. While when I put my logo in “Featured Images” it doesn’t adjust. Can you explain how it works with the logo sizes?
Hey there!
Hope you are doing well and thanks for your question! Sorry for the delay we have been away for this years Presnomics Conference!
1) This is the default features WP Job Manager has enabled for both front-end and back-end. Unfortunately, the plugin does not offer a feature to upgrade the front-end Description field like the back-end. You may need to modify the way the plugin generates this field as there is no setting. I can advise you reach out to the WP Job Manager team to see if they have any recommendations on achieving this.
2)This is a default WordPress setting that will adjust the image sizes of the images uploaded. I can recommend you read this article if you wish to disable this feature. See here: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-prevent-wordpress-from-generating-image-sizes/
Hope this helps, and sorry for the delay!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Is there a way to make people login/register before they can have access to the job postings? I want to make my site an exclusive job website and don’t want anybody seeing anything before they register. Is this something that is possible?
I want to know before I buy this.
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today.
At this time Jobify does not have any restriction feature preventing users from viewing jobs. You can hide menu items using the If menu plugin but if a user has the direct URL path they can access jobs.
Another alternative with be using Restrict Content Pro to hide website content. See here.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Question its not showing option for logo is there an issue?
Customizing ▸ General Site Logo & Header
this area?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well. This is available out of the box. If options are missing from your customizer menu, you may have a plugin that is conflicting with your menu. Disable all 3rd-party plugins.
If you need further assistance, contact us through support!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hello guys! I don’t see it in the demo, but is there a page where Candidates can see the jobs they applied? thanks!
Hi again.
Hope you are doing once more.
The demos do not have an option to see the jobs they have applied to, unfortunately. Since applications are emailed by default, there is no option to allow candidates the ability to view application history.
For Employers, you can allow them to view applications from the website using the Applications plugin.
Hope this answers your question today!
Cheers! Fernando
thank you Fernando!
Hi Fernando, great looking theme and reflecting sales. I apologize you have way too many comments to go through so I will ask my pre-purchase questions without checking them all. 1- I have a project which I need a website to allow 2 different user registration i.e. a-Employers b-Job seekers, I would need 2 different registration pages for these registrations, is this possible with default theme? 2- If “Employer” wants to post a job can I divert them to different payment options and what payments options are already built in your theme? i.e. PayPal 3- I have checked your demo and “apply for the job” opens a pop up which is very basic, name, email and message, can candidates open an application form, fill the required fields, upload a CV, photos etc or do I need an extra plugin to do this? 4- How does paying employer system work? When someone applies for a job they posted, how do they receive details of the applicant? And can any employer access any applicant/job seekers details? 5- If a job post has passed it`s closing date, what happens to that post? Does it move to archive or becomes draft? When it closes and it is still visible to website visitors, is there any warning that post has been closed for applications? 6-Which plugins in your 2nd demo are paid and what do they do extra compare to your default? i.e. if I won`t be selling products (mugs, tshirts), why would I need woocommerce! Or is woocommerce used to receive paid subscriptions? 7-You have 3 different type of pricing, not sure if they work all the way till receiving payment but can you please explain how it would normally work and does it require extra plugin? Thanks
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well today.
Question: 1- I have a project which I need a website to allow 2 different user registration
Answer: There is only one default registration form, but can add a role selector option. Using Jobify and the WooCommerce Simple Registration plugin, you can create a dropdown to display both roles for a user to choose.
Question: 2- If “Employer” wants to post a job can I divert them to different payment options and what payments options are already built in your theme?
Answer: PayPal is included by default, but you can choose from any of these payment gateways found here. You will need to create Listing Packages to charge users for submitting job posts.
Question: 3- I have checked your demo and “apply for the job” opens a pop up which is very basic, name, email and message, can candidates open an application form, fill the required fields, upload a CV, photos etc or do I need an extra plugin to do this?
Answer: You can modify the submission form to add the fields you wish to have integrated. Including CV and image upload.
Question: 4- How does paying employer system work? When someone applies for a job they posted, how do they receive details of the applicant? And can any employer access any applicant/job seekers details?
Answer: Paying employers allows them to submit jobs. By default, applications are emailed to the employer. They can view any applicants details.
Question: 5- If a job post has passed it`s closing date, what happens to that post? Does it move to archive or becomes draft? When it closes and it is still visible to website visitors, is there any warning that post has been closed for applications?
Answer: Once a job post expires it will be hidden. It will be visible in the back-end but it will be hidden from the front-end.
Question: 6-Which plugins in your 2nd demo are paid and what do they do extra compare to your default? i.e. if I won`t be selling products (mugs, tshirts), why would I need woocommerce! Or is woocommerce used to receive paid subscriptions?
Answer: You can view a list of paid plugins here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/734-what-paid-plugins-are-used-on-the-jobify-extended-demo
You can see what each plugin does.
WooCommerce is used for the user management process and to create Listing Packages.
Question: 7-You have 3 different type of pricing, not sure if they work all the way till receiving payment but can you please explain how it would normally work and does it require extra plugin?
Answer: You will need to create Listing Packages using the Paid Listings plugin. You can set the terms of your package to determine the number of jobs a user can post and the duration of the jobs.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

hello guys! how can I add image upload to the tinyMCE in the Description fields for new Jobs and Resumes? thanks!
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
At this moment, there is no option to upload images to the description field. This is a feature provided by the WP Job Manager plugin and Resume add-on. I would contact the plugin developers to see if this can be added. They would be able to provide better insight on this.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
thanks! it should be nice as some jobs like this one: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/job/art-director/
have an image under Overview. Do you know was this set?
It can be added through the back-end but at the moment the front-end submission does not offer this feature.
Cheers! Fernando
ohh I see, thanks!
Hi, I am still gathering content together before I go ahead with the site build, but wanted to ask if you built all the icons yourself or if you suggest where I can find a library that will suit the Jobify theme? I’m looking for clocks and other work related images. Thanks
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
At this time Jobify and our themes use icons provided by Ionicons. You can view the icons here: http://ionicons.com/
There is a clock icon available and may others.
Kind regards,
Fernando
Do you have an example of the indeed or ZipRecruiter add on from WP Job Manager?
Hi there,
At this time we do not have a demo with these add-ons. Just know that jobs will come up with the same format as the jobs saved on your website.
If you have any further questions, let me know!
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Could all 3 add-ons for external job filling be used in one set of search results? i.e. a search for “sales” in a city would return sales jobs in that city listed on all 3 job boards.
Yes, it is possible to return results from your website and the other 2 add-ons.
Hope this helps!
Cheers! Fernando
Does the theme allow job seekers to register and upload their resumes without having to apply for any job? You said it’s possible through WP Resume Manager but it doesn’t seem to work.
The only resumes I have in my database are the ones entered manually. You can’t sell membership to employers to view resume database if the resumes don’t get stored in the system.
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well!
Yes, users can upload resumes and are not required to apply for any job.
There is no option to charge users to view resumes. You can only charge users to submit Resumes and jobs with the Paid Listings plugin.
If you need assistance with Jobify, please contact us through support!
We hope to help you!

Jobify and Salesforce
I’m really keen to purchase this theme and all the premium plugins for a new client site. However, I have a couple of presales questions:
- Can this theme be integrated with SalesForce.. ie:
- When an employer posts a job
- When a candidate applies for a job
- When an order is placed via Woocommerce
- I noticed some noise about the way Jobify is not as SEO friendly as it might be. Have you fixed those issues?
- Is there a scenario where a tiered membership plan could be implemented – ie different levels have more functionality?
- Can video resumés be used in addition to text?
- Can Employers be rated by candidtates and vice versa? (with admin oversight of course)
Hopefully this is clear. Looking forward to working with you guys.
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well and thank you for your questions!
Question: Can this theme be integrated with SalesForce
Answer: At this time there is no official support or a way to have Jobify integrated with Salesforce.
Question: I noticed some noise about the way Jobify is not as SEO friendly as it might be. Have you fixed those issues?
Answer: You can use plugins like Yoast SEO to enhance this, but at the moment we are looking into improving this.
Question: Is there a scenario where a tiered membership plan could be implemented – ie different levels have more functionality?
Answer: You can create various Listing Packages . Determining how long and the number of job posts a user can submit.
When using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin, you can also limit the fields a user can submit for their job post.
Question: Can video resumés be used in addition to text?
Answer: When using the Resume Manager plugin users have the option to upload their resume and use a Video for their resume. They can use a URL to allow users the ability to view the video.
Question: Can Employers be rated by candidtates and vice versa? (with admin oversight of course)
Answer: Out of the box there is no review feature available for jobs or candidates.
Hope this answers your questions today!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando
Can the modal functionality be used elsewhere? What modal is being used (Bootstrap, custom js)? I’m just wondering what it would take to create a custom modal, say for a privacy policy statement in a modal, rather than go to a dedicated page for content.
Additionally, I would like to know how to remove extra footer widgets. There are 4 and I only need 2. So, instead of clearing some in CSS, is there a setting to only have 2?
To answer my own question, based on the chat support I received today: footer widgets are set to 4, can be hidden with CSS, and WordPress has a built-in popup. More on that here: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/589-create-a-popup-window

hello guys. Great job on this theme.
I would like though, to make the user choose/pay for a package before they can post their resumes. Do you know how can this be done? please
we are trying to avoid that the user may fill all his resume information just to find out after the preview that he has to pay to submit. Thanks!
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out.
At this time the process to pay for posting jobs or resume is handled by the WC Paid Listings plugin. The plugin requires that a job or resume is submitted at the time that the package is being purchased.
There is no option to override this. You would need to modify the plugin yourself to make these changes.
Hope this answers your questions today!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando
In order to make good website I need to purchase below items
Your theme – USD 69
From WP Job Manager Woo Commerce Paid Listing – USD 39 Job Tags – USD 19 Application Deadline – USD 19 Bookmarks – USD 19 Resume Manager – USD 39
Gravity Forms – USD 39 (Can be optional)
Almost minimum – USD 243
I think all those items I listed maximum people will need it at least to get site worked as desired.
Is there any bundle package available for WP Job Manager with reasonable price / discount to purchase? Which can include every item your theme supports.
Is it possible to have some private pricing plans? Other than public pricing plan, we might want to offer some special plan to recruiters, those should be visible to recruiters only after we create there accounts?
one more query, Can the CV viewing & Job posting package be combined into one? ex. USD xxx for 5 job posting & 100 CV viewing.
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
1)You can find a bundle package for all WP Job Manager plugins here. This only has the core plugins available through WP Job Manager.
Keep in mind premium plugins are not required. Our theme works without the need of any premium plugins as demonstrated in our Jobify Classic Demo.
2)It might be possible, but involves a bit of manual work. You will need to create a PRIVATE listing package and process the order of the individual users. That would be the best way to go about with it.
3)Listing packages are only used to charge users to post Jobs and do not have a viewing option available for them. You can create a package to allow users to post x amount of jobs only.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Thank you for the information. So that bundle package USD 125 I can use on multiple sites right?
I do not think so. I think the $125 option is for one website. I would verify with the WP Job Manager team to get a more precise answer about their plugins.
Cheers! Fernando
Yes Please thank you.
Just in case you can read here the terms of the WP Job Manager plugins here: https://wpjobmanager.com/add-on-faq/
Cheers! Fernando
I get it as below, Thank you
What is the difference between personal and developer licence? A personal licence is valid for support and updates for 1 site, whereas a developer licence is valid for support and updates for multiple sites.
You can only use the plugin on one website where the developer has no restrictions.
Cheers! Fernando
Hello,
I’m planning to purchase this theme and use to the niche job board that I’m developing. But I do have a number of questions, which I hope you can answer them.
- How many company or companies profile can you create using an employer account?
- Do I need to buy or purchase an additional plugin to make your theme work?
- Can I change the color scheme of the theme?
- Is the layout customizable?
- Can I integrate Stripe?
Cheers!
Hello there!
Thank you for your interest in our theme.
Question: How many company or companies profile can you create using an employer account?
Answer: Out of the box there is no limit on the number of posts or company profiles a user can create. If you use the WC Paid Listings plugin you can limit this by Create a Listing Package.
Question: Do I need to buy or purchase an additional plugin to make your theme work?
Answer: You are not required to. Our Jobify classic demo uses no premium plugins. If you wish to enhance the theme and add features, you can add paid plugins like our Extended Demo
Question: Can I change the color scheme of the theme?
Answer: Jobify has options to change the colors of your website. See here.
Question: Is the layout customizable?
Answer: You can customize your theme’s layout the many widgets the theme provides.
Question: Can I integrate Stripe?
Answer: Yes, you can integrate Stripe and many of the supported payment gateways found here.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
