I am creating a custom post type to be used within the search on 4 particular pages. Can I reorder the dropdown in the search so it shows whichever custom type I want instead of showing “All” then having the user select the correct one? Or can i remove “All” and simply have the custom post type I’ve selected for that search?

Sorry for the inconvenience, you can not reorder the option. If you want to remove the All option, then get into the file path /wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/shortcodes/shortcodes.php under the dt_sc_search_box function here you can comment the all option.

Note: Once you have disabled the All option, then you can not able to search all the post types at a time.

How do we turn on voting functionality for regular blog posts?

At present there is no option to enable voting for regular posts.

I want to organize content in a hierarchical way on this page

It’s just a WordPress theme supports community plugins(BBpress & BuddyPress). But “quora” is very big application to listing user questions & answers. Some of other features,
1. Topic as feeds, follow topics 2. Friends find 3. Post question & answer 4. Voting, Commenting, Share etc..
So like “quora” application using this theme is a big chase and it is very much difficult to implement it.

How do we add a sidebar to posts?

Go to Dashboard > Blog Posts > Edit the corresponding blog post you need to set the side bar. Then get in to Post options under the page editor section. here you can assign the post layout as per your needs (with sidebars).

Hi – when we make just the first sentence in a bullet point bold in a post (the editor uses tags) – it bolds the entire section and it looks bad. How do we fix this?

Does this theme support RTL languages as Arabic or all of your themes does not contain this feature ?

All our latest themes ar fully RTL Support and support WPML compatibility. And also we have update the older themes to support this feature. You can change the language in dashboard settings if you are using more then one language you need to use the WPML plugin to build the site multilingual. .po and .mo files are included in the download pack.

We’re using the Anspress Q&A plugin, which creates two custom post types “questions” and “answers”. Will the kBase live search feature work for those?
Also will we be able to set those post types to be displayed like your blog entries?

Sorry we have not tested our theme with any third party plugins other than the plugins listed in the themeforest page. So we cannot guarantee for that plugin to work with our theme. But you can try with those plugins.
