I’m confused about the version. I just updated to the latest version in the backend of Wordpress for The 7 theme using the automated update feature and it shows “Activated theme version is The7 ver. 3.6.1” however on your change log list it shows the latest version of the theme is v.5.0.3 (Mar 30, 2017). Why is this different from what I’m seeing?

Actually, I think I figured out what’s happening. I had an older instance of this theme in the theme directory and for whatever reason, it’s trying to read off that because of similar files. No need to investigate, this is the issue. Thanks for your quick reply though.

i I seem to be having a serious issue with I work with stretched row option. It starts to overlap other content.
Even if i type
.vc_row { overflow: visible; }
It fixes it on desktop but overlaps still on mobile. I never had these issues before on previous versions of visual composer?

I’ve checked your website with Pingtom Tools. And it actually looks quite impressive: page seed score 94/100 is very good.
The only issue I’ve noticed is 684ms delay in server response time. Considering the fact that the overall load time is no more then 1.89s, it’s almost half the load time! Normal delay would be no more then 100-150ms. Such long delay in most cases indicates ineffective page caching. Please check your page caching settings. Maybe it is disabled or turned to some sort of “mild” mode?

We have version 4.2.1 running smoothly with no issues. We uploaded the 5.0.3 upgrade now and uploaded it via STFP and in Live Preview saw the site would need a lot of customization again. Qs: Do we need to upgrade or can wait a while longer? Thanks!

There’s nothing critical in The7 v.5 that require update from v.4. However you should have been able to update almost without additional setup.

Hi Guys – lovely theme, my only worry is if you stop shipping plugins as part of the download package? We customised a lot to brand for the client and we therefore would not be able to update plugins automatically – can you still bundle in the download package? If not it really will mean that we would have to move themes.

The7 is compatible with Events Calendar by Modern Tribe. You can use native plugin search tool, as well shortcodes, etc. The theme does not limit this plugin functioning. So, sure, you can build a page with one of The7 sliders, text block and Events calendar shortcode below.
There are numerous The7 elements which would allow you to integrate city images: Single Image, Fancy Media, Banner, etc. I am afraid we don’t have “by plugin” filter in our buyers’ showcase http://the7.io/main/more/real-life-showcase/

If you observe my website www.essus.com.br you will see that “welcome to our website” and “our experience” appears one below the other not side by side. And “principles of our work” too.
You need to update theme to v.5.0.3 and set the sidebar width, padding and responsiveness settings (they are new).

Please set the: sidebar width, space between sidebar and content and responsiveness settings (basically the new settings added to v.5.0.3).
Oh sorry. I misinformed you. That’s not an issue with the sidebar settings. Looks like something is wrong with Visual Composer settings.

Just saw that 5.0.3 is available. Are there any security concerns that need immediate upgrading? Also, layer slider 6.2.2 is available but not in this theme upgrade.
