just got the new update Porto 3.5.3 its missing the Changelog …. would be nice to have a text file in the zip with all the changelog so we dont need to wait to see it on porto page.

with this update is it now safe to update WC ?

I think you are using the PHP 7 version. Can you please change your PHP 7 version into PHP 5.6 because Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer did not support the PHP 7 version. So please before installing the Demo change the PHP version and after install the Demo you can revert back to PHP 7 version for the fast speed. I hope PHP 5.6 version did not create the problem for you.

IMPORTANT: The included all plugins need to be installed and activated must before you install a demo. Please check the Porto >> “System Status” tab to ensure your server meets all requirements for a successful import. Settings that need attention will be listed in red.

How can i update Visual Composer???? Im having a lot of issues with it because i think i have a pretty old version.

Please go Plugins on admin sidebar.
Please select WPBackery Visual Composer plugin.
Please deactivate.
Please delete.
Please go Appearance > Install Plugins on admin sidebar.

Please install.
Please activate.

I have updated the theme on an install and now after order has been completed and on order detail page I get a Fatal Error wp-content/themes/porto/woocommerce/order/order-details.php on line 44

The order go through but looks to have the fatal error when displaying the order details. Please help fix this.

Hello, Seems like a well throughout theme, not too heavy and simple, yet comprehensive options, a fairly hard thing to achieve. So for this reason I’m considering your theme, do you have a Product Masonry Layout option, Pinterest like. Many of my images are not the same height and thus in most themes my products looks un-polished. Also does your theme support Yith-Infinite Scrolling. I see you use a few Yith plugins, so I wonder if it will support the paid version of the same as well. Thank you.

Thank you for the quick reply, here are three vital needs. 1. Product Masonry Layout. A vital function, for my product type. 2. Some type of solid Infinite Scrolling Plugin. 3. An attachment function for a custom css file. Some themes have this option already, but I can get around this with other tools if needed.

Not sure if yours has this css attachment option or not. If you could provide three items, I’m probably a buyer. Otherwise I will have to keep searching, The Product Masonry is vital for my need first and foremost as some items are three times as tall as some other items, which is impossible to change.

Yes, you can set the excerpt length of the text from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Post >> Blog & Post Archive >> Enable the Show Excerpt >> then give the Excerpt Length.

If you want to translate this form and other English words then you have to translate the theme’s default languages files into your language. You can find these files inside wp-content/themes/porto/languages folder en_GB.po and .mo files.

If you are not able to do that then please give us WP admin and FTP login details of your site and hosting through our support system so we will do it for you.

Hello, that didnt fix the 2 errors, I had to change the css from

header.search-sm .searchform input width: 300px; to width: 299px;

The search is now back correct.

After made the changes in the ru_RU.po file you should regenerate the ru.RU.mo file as well to work on your site. If you have not generated the .mo file then the translation will not work.
