Hi, just a suggestion, iconsmind.ttf is 906.1kb—what can be done to mitigate this?
That’s a lot to be loading on the home page, that’s actually half my home page size. Removing query strings doesn’t help because this file isn’t cached for some reason.

If the file size for it is not worth it for you, using one of the other icon libraries will stop that one from loading

Hi there!
After updating to 8.0 (and now 8.0.15), our masonry portfolio title text does not seem to be sizing or aligning correctly anymore on mobile. It all used to fit perfectly on all screen sizes, now longer titles are going off-screen, especially any that aren’t set to center for Masonry Content Position. (This is for Title overlaid w/ zoom effect on hover alt)
Also, our footer used to be nicely centered on mobile. After the latest updates, the social media icons are left-aligned and the copyright text looks like it might be a little off-center as well.
Did options change that we need to adjust to get things back to the way they used to be in this regard? We have not changed anything on the site aside from updating the theme.

2. Currently I’m not seeing that data for the Facebook share anymore – perhaps the open graph data just needed a little to update from when you imported the demo – Are you still seeing it?

I updated Salient and now my website isn’t scrolling past the Nectar Slider, even though all the other content shows up in the source code and is all still there on the Home Page. www.motivsc.com

I have updated to 8.0.15 and then updated WooCommerce and now the proceed to cart button is not displaying. The php is in the theme and template folders. Customers can get to the checkout from the cart icon in the header, but not directly from the cart page.

Followup comment- the cart icon also doesn’t show the link to the checkout page on the cart page. If it did, I probably wouldn’t be worried about the button not displaying (if that makes sense).

When will you upgrade for WooCoomerce 3.0?
Hey aldociana, Salient released compatibility with 3.0 days ago – WooCommerce released three updates after that (current version 3.0.3) and now Salient supports that as well in 8.0.15
Try again: Your theme (Salient Child Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.”
It sounds like you’re either not on 8.0.15 or you have template overrides in your child theme, have you tried to switch to the parent theme? – please share your URL in regards

On dev-glenncope.pantheonsite.io there are sections that get bumped half-way off the screen to the left when at mobile breakpoints. For instance, on the the about page, look at the first 2 sections after the page header.

When using single images within a theme, is there a way to add a hover feature on it? So if you hover over the image it will add another picture of a different colour scheme? Had a look around and couldn’t find anything like that.

I have a minor issue with the same header though. I also didn’t want the author’s name displayed on s single post. Had put this on CSS –

display: none!important;
}
While it has removed the author name there’s an additional pipe ( | ) symbol before the date which I want to get rid of. Help please?

I deleted the old theme and installed a fresh version of 8.0 however then I replaced the styles.css with a previous version as I had custom CSS in that file.
I’m just not sure where the developer has put the custom CSS in the sheet so I can copy it over to the 8.0 styles.css sheet. I can’t contact the developer either. I’m guessing this is why I should use a child theme!
