Why is it impossible to translate the title “Cart Totals” and the “Update Cart” button on the Shopping Cart page (WooCommerce) ?

Those strings are contained in the WooCommerce .po file, not in Salient – you can check the file at salient/woocommerce/cart/cart.php

Hi, Those strings are well translated with another theme and .po of WooCommerce. When activating the theme Salient the translations disappear ! This works well by modifying the entry in the file salient/woocommerce/cart/cart.php, but I would like a multi language site.
Do you have any idea how to translate these strings without modifying the file salient/woocommerce/cart/cart.php ?

For some reason the buttons on my site (https://www.mtxcontracts.co.uk) that are set to be ‘see through’ have suddenly got black borders, see example here: https://puu.sh/vppns/4f62388e2d.png In most cases they were white, so you know why they have changed and how can I change them back? The site is huge, so I don’t want to have to change each page.

I figured out how to do it – just change the css on the submenu li from display:inline-block to just display:block but it would be nice for the submenu element to have an option to switch with possibly some styling options? I added some padding, a margin, and a background color to the li a so now I have a column of buttons

Hey, I’m a big fan of this theme but I’ve got a problem now, My site doesn’t show pictures anymore sometimes. In Google Chrome for example it doesn’t show them but in incognito mode from Chrome it does show. Some other people report this problem and for some others it seems fine, it seems like it has nothing to do with other plugins.. My website is http://footygraphic.com/

Yes I’ve updated the theme to the latest versions, and some plugins, for some reasons it has gone back to normal now without me doing anything so I think it’s fixed haha, thanks for your time

In the Salient options panel > header navigation tab check the option for “Header Remove Desktop Stickiness” – note, this option was added in 8.0

Like I said I am already using that option but the header it’s not sticky when I am using the transparent header. See the screen-shots please.

Hey, you can’t disable the stickiness from a fullscreen row setup since you’re never actually scrolling the page – the rows act like a slider in such that they scroll within the one fullscreen fix, but the page itself never actually moves

Had some updates this morning for woo commerce, but just looked at my website and the whole theme on my main page and them has changed to white background with grey font headings, when the rest of my site is still working correctly with the black background and white text. The Vimeo gallery is not displaying and it also removes the footer info from that page.

Hey, sorry for overlooking this – after further testing, it looks like the issue is coming from a conflict with the theme options framework (redux) and the plugin. I’ve noted to try and report this and sort it for the next update
Hi, I’m having issues with the theme working with the new woocommerce 3.0.3. I switched my child theme to the primary Salient them updated to 8.0.15 and it just doesn’t work correctly. I have images not showing up, and the menu structure doesn’t work. When I disable woocommerce it goes back to working correctly. I’m doing all of this on my staging site.. any ideas?

Hey, no – the skin is just another theme option which changes styling on the front, but effects nothing else in the options you’ve set. If you don’t like it you can always just change the skin back to the original and it will be as you have it now
