I just installed the theme and I need to install the required plugins manually. Where can I find these plugins.
A few google searches told me to look into /avada/framework/.. but there isn’t a framework folder available in your download. So I’m stuck setting up the theme now..

The plugins and demos are now offloaded so you will not find them in the Avada files, this decision was taken to decrease and minimize the overall file size for Avada installation files, however you can download the plugins from our servers using your token key.

First and foremost, that is a Woocommerce shortcode and although you can add it via the Fusion Builder, it is default Woo and Avada does not touch those Woo shortcodes in any way.
We have checked an confirm that there is an issue with that Woo 3.0.4 Order Tracking shortcode -> [product id=”” sku=”“] – the product ID issue persists when testing in the default WordPress Seventeen theme. This is what we can confirm:

[product id=”” sku=“033”] – works
[product id=”17222” sku=”“] – does not work

You can definitely assign sidebars to category pages in our theme, this is done via Avada > Theme Options > sidebars > WooCommerce Archive Tab

Our FAQ Items are now a post type of their own actually and you can simply use any page template that we offer to put them, the FAQs are now displayed using our FAQ element so basically you can use them anywhere you want be it a 100% width template or a default one or a post type such as portfolio or post, are you not able to do that?

I installed this theme recently and it was working great, but now the “Use Fusion Builder” button doesn’t do anything and I can’t edit pages that have been started with the Fusion Builder.
I tried it in multiple browsers with no difference
I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugins with no change
I’m using theme version 5.1.6, Fusion Core version 3.1.6 and Fusion Builder version 1.1.6
Has this happened to others? Is there a quick fix?

I believe you have a broken JS somewhere that is not letting the Fusion Builder load for you on the pages, a very easy way to check this is by simply right clicking and checking the console of your browser and see if you can get any red errors there, if you do some basic troubleshooting steps are these.
Please disable all your 3rd party plugins and check once again, also check your code fields area inside Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Code Fields for any broken JS code.
However if the issue persist for you please do open a support ticket and our team will gladly look into this issue for you.

I hadn’t updated to the newest Woo yet and tried that when I saw the new patch was available, with no change
I posted about the issue on their plugin page this morning but I’m not sure what can or will be done.
the theme I’m currently running (Striking Multiflex) has options for moving Js to the bottom when conflicts arise. Avada doesn’t have anything like that do they?

We do not have an option for moving the JS files to footer right now, however i will suggest you to try and disable the compiler from Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Dynamic CSS & JS and see if that makes the plugin works.

What we do need to clarify is that is simply not possible to guarantee perfect compatibility with every 3rd party plugin on the market. However, what really does help is for our developers to take a look and if we can pin point the issue, that info can be relayed to the plugin developer. And with any other plugin I would be able to adapt and try a different plugin, except I’m trying to create a seamless transition from old site to new and for that I have to use this particular plugin… I totally understand they don’t always line up, but in this case I have to have it else I can’t move forward.

Well… I tried to create an account and it seemed to work but then when I went to login after account creation I got this error:

I upgraded to version 5.1.6, but the plugins fusion core and fusion builder will not update. Whenever I select update for one of those plugins, it deactivates it instead. I activate the plugin and it’s still the older version (3.1.4 and 1.1.4). I tried ftp’ing the theme in hopes that something was off there, but it didn’t help. Is there a way to ftp the two plugins?

Today we have received notifications via Google webmaster tools all 3 sites:

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble. There may have been an issue while the patch was applying. You can fix this by installing the theme freshly through FTP.
Before uploading the new files, make sure to remove the old theme files first. Never overwrite the old theme files with the updated version as that can leave behind files that aren’t meant for the new version and cause instability.

I sell digital classes/courses online, through an independent site, like Udemy, for example. So, I just need a store front for my courses and the “buy this course” button will redirect my client to Udemy. I know that I can achieve that with WooCommerce, but what I need to know is if I can customize my home page and the product page itself.

That site isn’t using Avada, but you can certainly get a very similar style through the Avada fusion Builder. I mocked up a quick demonstration of that to show how close it can come with just a few minutes in the Avada Fusion Builder > http://prntscr.com/eyy8in
You could of course spend a more time to polish that up, but that will show roughly what can be done to replicate that layout.
As for linking to your Udemy site, you have several methods to do that. There is of course the button element which you see in my screenshot, but you’re also able to link the whole column, so clicking anywhere on the column would direct your customer to the site where your customer sale would take place.
Aside from Avada options, if you ever want to add quick snippets of CSS to your site, you can easily add a custom class to your elements, then add your CSS either through page specific CSS or through the theme options CSS. This isn’t required to style your site, but is handy if you have some personal touches that you want to add.

I bought Avada yesterday and I loved Fusion Builder, it’s an awesome tool. The problem is that I guess I really need a LMS theme to achieve what I want. Even if I don’t sell my courses in my own platform, I still need an unique taxonomy (course, teacher, classes, class length, and so on) to organize it properly.
Unfortunately, I’ve made a request to refund, ‘cause it doesn’t suit my needs. Hope y’all understand.

Yeah we do not include a LMS or advertise it, that would be a 3rd party plugin required for nearly every theme. Sensei is a good one, so is LearnDash. We support both so either one of those could be used, however we do not have design integration for them.

Yes you can, basically ThemeForest sells a license to use the themes. So you need one license per site you use it on.
After registration on one site, if you do need to transfer it to a new site because the previous site is no more, you can do that and still only use one license since it’s only one site. That sounds like what you need since you removed it from the first site.
The general rule is one site license per site. So if you have it on 3 sites, it would require 3 license purchases.

There is a toggle element which allows one item to be open at a time, we found through our user base that the accordion style was not needed. If it’s highly requested, we can add an option to the toggles so they act like accordions and allow more than one open at a time. Also, our toggles can have open ones by default, so on page load one of them can be open if needed.
That flash I cannot replicate, it could be browser specific, also could be related to the youtube/vimeo videos. I’ll check with our team on that.
Google fonts are a yes, we have them easily accessible to use for any heading, body font, menus, etc, for example: http://d.pr/i/1hs5v .. also standard system fonts can be used, or you can even upload your own custom font.
We also have regular tables and pricing tables. Regular tables are done like this, you select the style (2 styles) and columns and its auto generated in the editor field for you to fill in: http://d.pr/i/TQ5G ... pricing tables are more featured with this type of UI and many options: http://d.pr/i/XuRS

Hey Themefusion, as we thought, we are having this issue with the missing accordion functionality. We do need an accordion (!) not “just” a toggle. So how we can do this?

Currently we do not have an accordion, we only have a toggle as explained above.
Unfortunately it is not something we can hand out as a file change or anything, it would have to be a new shortcode or additional features added to the original shortcode that needs developed then tested by our dev team and added into a release.
What you can do, and this is not full accordion but may help your situation, is that you can set the page load to “YES” for each toggle, so when the page loads, each one is open. Right now that is the closest we have to it.
However, I will notate it that you have requested it, to add it back in typically we need several requests to do it. I’ll notate this a few times for you though

I did just add this again and a dev replied, while it’s not ideal what you can do is add individual toggle elements with one item per toggle. So instead of adding one toggle that has 5 items inside of it, you would add 5 toggle elements with one inside of it. That will allow each one to stay open. That will give you what you need until we are able to get this worked into a theme update.

There were some WooCommerce text changes which affected the translation of that text. To ensure your translation files have these updates, you can update your .po file with the .pot file in the /languages/ folder of the latest Avada theme files and fusion-core + fusion-builder plugins.

Once you update the .po with the new .pot file, look for the text that isn’t translated on the frontend and apply your new translated text. That should correct this for you.
