ad1) I think there’s a typo, it says title1 or titlel in first line. Why don’t you use Visual Composer for that?

It’s in Appearance -> Theme Options -> General -> Footer social icons, although it will be moved to Customize screen in one of the next updates and Theme Options page will be removed

The Employer dashboard is standard feature, the Candidate Dashboard requires Resume Manager add-on that needs to be bought separately. You can also sell ‘resume packages’ that have option for Featured CV so they will be first on the list of resumes. If you have Applications add-on(sold separately) the CV will be visible in the Employer dashboard, otherwise it will be send via email

HI Lucas, what is this option exactly called? “order by last modified date ” in jobs list archive. As when i select the option, and modify the job – job isn’t coming up and changing its date modified/posted.
I’m not sure I understand your question, but for the Browse Jobs page you can set order of jobs in Customize -> Jobs Options -> Job Lists options, for other pages use the option from Jobs VC element

I think it’s pretty self explanatory – list will be ordered by the date they were modified, for example someone edited his job 5 seconds ago, so it will go to the first place on the list

Yes it is, but this setting is for archive page with job listing, on regular page use the shortcode like
[jobs show_pagination=1 orderby=”modified” order=”desc”]
unfortunately it is not working for default archive job listing page even, i tested on regular page too where not working.
Try to update to 1.4.7.3, if that won’t help contact me via Support Tab with access to your WordPress, I’ll take a look, it’s definietly working on my test site

Greetings! I managed to successfully modify submission fields using my child theme functions.php, but I still can’t remove the fields. The guide is made for function “custom_submit_job_form_fields” and I tried to change it to “remove_submit_job_form_fields” with no success.

Hi. I want to delete the coma between the resume regions. I modified ./inc/wp-job-manager.php file on line 1378 and it’s working. However I can’t include the inc folder in my child theme, so I’m thinking I will have to override this file in my Main Theme on every update. Is there a better way to do this?
I’ll make it a pluggable function in next update so you will be able to just copy this function to your child theme and modify it there

Hi, I bought yesterday this theme for my job board page. In wordpress dashboard it seems there is an update for WPBakery Visual Composer. I click update and it doesnt update properly and shows me error like:
“An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?”

The Visual Composer is included in theme on extended/developers license, which means I bought it for higher price to be able to include it in my theme. You as end user can use it only with this theme, and do not get the license key that is used to auto-updates. Updates of Visual Composer come with the updates of the theme ( I always include new VC in theme few days after release). You can of course buy your own copy of VC if you want it faster or need support from plugin authors, but that’s not necessary.

Hi Lucas, hope you are well doing! In the new release, u have added multiple job types which selected in job listing form visible on output. But those should be on priority-wise selected by user. For e.g. select multiple types like contract, temporary, full time on job listing form and save job, now again go to job type field, now the priorities are missing to contract, full time, temporary, as per my idea it is binded to orderby sort.
how can i change this as per user selected priority wise job types. It really matters most for all ..
For job categories it is working fine as per user selected ‘first select category first out’

there’s no ‘priority’ setting for job categories or job types (or any taxonomy in WordPress), they are saved by ID order. Maybe you could try with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/ but that might require some modification

ad2. if you are using WooCommerce, that’s a My Account page in the WooCommerce settings. If no, you have those options in Appearance -> Customize -> Login\Registration options

ad4. In Appearance -> Customize -> Maps Options you have option to limit map suggestion to one country, you just have to put letter symbol of that country

in your header replace whole <?php echo esc_url( home_url( ’/’ ) ); ?> with the link, now you’re passing the link as argument to home_url funciton

I think I’ve updated the version in installer script but didn’t update actual zip with plugin, so the version in WorkScout is 5.1. I’ll fix it after weekend, but those visible shortcodes on your page are more likely caused by some mistake done while editing page. Looks like some shortcode was removed or not propery caused. It’s not plugin issue as those changes between 5.1 and 5.1.1 are just cosmetic changes.

it doesn’t look like you have Google Maps API configured for autocomplete and radius based search – http://kb.purethemes.net/article/73-google-maps-api-key-for-workscout so it won’t work if you type ‘netherlands’ but you’re location is NeDerlands – without maps based search it will only compare text strings.

Since updating to the latest version (1.4.7.2) sticky header wont work, also default header doesn’t work, all I get is alternate header event when I’m selecting standard header. It all worked fine before the update…

Latest version has an option to set break-point for alternative menu, you can adjust that value in Appearance -> Customize -> Header Options
