I got a short question. Now I have 9400 job applications. But it does not show the list on this page anymore http://imgur.com/tjCsUtv . Actually this issue started to occur since I have application approximately 7500. But at that time, if I select the date to be latest month, the list displayed. Now it won’t display even I select a specific month.
Do you know why?

this is Applications add-on territory, not handled or affected by theme in any way, so you need to contact WP Job Manager about that https://wpjobmanager.com/support/
But make sure you have all plugins updated, and try to enable debugging https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress – maybe it will show some error information.

I’m about ready to make a decision to buy an extended license to create a leaden marketplace like Thumbtack or HomeAdvisor, but have 2 open questions. My apologies if these are not clear.
1. Can this theme support hiding the contact info of the Pro until the Customer makes a purchase. (The biz model is pay-for-introductions). 2. Can I make custom filters based on different types of Pros. Ie, if a Customer is searching for a Housekeeper they would have different filters than if searching for a Nanny.

Hi, could you help me with changing the background images? When checked the link the images are linked to , the code shows the URL on default folder of 2015 but the images that I have saved on MEDIA folder is getting updated in the 2017 folder for wp-content. How can i get this changed? Im not a tech savvy so unable to edit the code. Could you please help me asap?

there’s no hardcoded background anywhere in WorkScout, and there’s no need to change anything in code. If by background you mean the search banner then it’s explained here where to change it http://kb.purethemes.net/article/28-how-do-i-add-image-for-search-area-in-workscout – otherwise it’s the Background section in Appearance -> Customize (but you have to change Layout to boxed there)

I never heard about that error. Maybe you have some “security” plugin that creates that problem? What is the exact message? Can you send me a screenshot of it?
I didn’t load any other plugins except you gave us.. Message is Turkish on Mozilla browser. Translation is; “Content has been blocked in accordance with the security policy

I have no idea what that might be, maybe it’s some server issue?
Ok i tried with Opera browser and it’s fine. But i got few questions;
1. When i enter to the Submit Resume page there is only a shortcode as [submit_resume_page] how can i add it?
2. How can i let people create their resumes if resume page doesn’t work?
3. I need several login options like company or candidate.. How can i make it?

SEO – All pages except single job are missing H1 tag. All post and page titles should be with H1 tag like other themes and it’s very important for search engines.

Hi, Im about to create a website for my client and they need to be able to feed jobs to the website. In reviewing the theme, They can import from indeed but cannot from other sources. If there isn’t a current workaround, are they able to write data files directly to the SQL database?
Can you recommend any solutions before we purchase? They simply need to be able to feed jobs and update status/changes directly to the database.

ad1) You need to edit single-job_listing.php and remove those parts you don’t need, you can use child theme for it (just copy that file to workscout-child and modify it there)
ad2) I think Facebook pulls that automatically from title tag of the page, so you need some SEO plugin to customize it (like SEO by Yoast)

I have question before I buy this theme. So I need only theme where you will be able to post a job and later to see that job, nothing special. And of course I want to make all free for the start maybe later I will put some wages for job posting. Is it possible for example that I like admin add some jobs or you must be logged in like company and post a job (because maybe I will just post some jobs by myself)? And should I pay some additional money or only 64$ because I saw that someone put review for some plugin 150$ or something like that? So in my case I need only simple possibilities and later maybe I will add some paying options and so one.

if you want the same content as the demo page, you need to buy also some additional plugins, WorkScout is based on WP Job Manager and it’s add-ons. The free version of WP Job Manager allows for listing jobs and job submissions, If you want to have resumes, application, bookmarks, job alerts and other features you can see on a demo, the best way would be to buy the Core Add-on Bundle for 125$ https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/bundle/
So in your case, just for job listing, you need to buy just themes, nothing more. And of course you as admin can add jobs and any other content.

When user login like company for example and post a new job I saw that I’m getting message like you must wait for admin response or something similar. So that confirmation will come to my email because I will be admin and than I can decide should I post it or not? Is it working like that?

Yes, that’s optional and you don’t have to force it, but by default jobs are pending admin approval.

this theme relies on WooCommerce login so it will work with social login plugins for WooCommerce
You have social media sharing icons on post and pages but why don’t you write the word with icons like ’’Share’’ or ’’Share this’’. Almost all themes write words ’’Share This’’ with social media icons which is very important. Don’t you think?
I think users are pretty much used to having social icons on content in the internet so it’s pretty obvious what they do, but if you really need to add a label to it, edit workscout/template-parts/content-single.php and add it before the “share-post”

That’s a syntax error so you’ve probably not copied whole function or put that in other function or in simply wrong place. You need to restore that file via FTP.

I should hire you for that Regarding 1st issue I’ll fix it, but the 2nd issue is not really a styling issue, and this layout is not to be used on WorkScout, we have the filters in the sidebar which can be set on static pages using Page Template – Page with Jobs Filters
