Hello, is there a way to add a sticky footer that is responsive and that you can add a search and social icon functionality?
Hey, a sticky footer would require custom css – the footer widget area can already use a search widget and social icons can display in the footer area as well from the theme options > footer section
Hi Salient, I would like to ask you, if there is any way how to keep “back to top button” when activated FullScreen Rows.
In the general settings – functionality – i have checked “on”, but it doesnt show on the FullScreen Rows.
I have found this article https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/9302/ (it would be helpful if on the last row the arrow wont show because there is no other content) so I thought if you could help me to move the arrow to the right, flip it so its pointing to top and on click it will a h ref on first row.

I’m hoping you will be able to help me out. I’ve added to rows of ‘PORTFOLIO’ images to my homepage.
1) Is it possible to have the Portfolio thumbnails act as a carousel and rotate through all the Portfolios either in order or randomly?
2) Add navigation arrows LEFT & RIGHT to cycle through the thumbnails?

If you scroll down to where you see the carousel’s labelled ‘Featured Destinations’ and ‘Across the Country’. What I am trying to achieve is to have navigation arrows on the LEFT and RIGHT side of the carousel. I circled in RED where they appear now after adding the code you gave me. In GREEN is where I would like the NAVIGATION arrows to appear.

The HTML markup would need to be altered in the nectar/tinymce/shortcode-processing.php file at the nectar_recent_projects function – and then new css would need to be written to size/position them

i’m trying to find an image you had on your food / restaurant demo that was taken down? from Unsplash.com. It was a black and white picture of a girl in a field showing her face wearing a hat. I cannot find it on the site or anywhere. If you can even show me a low res version of it I can try and find it better online somewhere, thanks!

When using the “Left Header” option in the Salient options panel > header nav> layout related tab all submenus used in the menu you have assigned in Appearance > Menus will dropdown in that fashion
Hello Awesome Theme Nectar team. I have one other small query. I would like to add images instead of the text in the “tabs” or the “pages submenu” component. I have tried with inline html but doesn’t work and have tried with css but requires modding to each tab menu item? is there a fast way of doing this?

Absolutely loving it so far, but I’m having trouble making custom content grid item not link to the portfolio pages. For example, someone clicks through to the next portfolio item and it is a blank page due to the fact it’s custom content. How can I stop them as appearing as pages and only in the portfolio grid?

As of now you can’t link to a specific filter however you can link directly to category archive page with /project-type/your-cat-name on your URL e.g. http://themenectar.com/demo/salient/project-type/photography/

Just wondering how you do the particles slider. I uploaded the demo but I have a black screen. Actually I’d like to use particles only as a header, not need to be a slider. I see you set the option on canvas, but then where can I put particles shapes? Can I custom them?

Oh ok I just found how to add an image, but the default title is the image name. Can’t find how to write the title I want and the subtitle like you did in Agency demo slider, and also the background color.

Hi, thanks works fine. Just have a problem though, with ajax page transition activated, the particles have a tendency to go to the top of the screen when I come from another page. If I reload the page, particles go back to the middle of the screen. Thanks

Yes sure I tried and it works, but the page transition is slower, and when I use the swipe transition, which is the one I need, it blocks during the transition without ajax enabled.

Hello i have a problem, when you create two project categories with the same name (in portfolio) but different slugs, an error occurs.
After creating both projects, when I add an ‘Portfolio’ element into a page and you try to select in “Portfolio Categories”, it only shows one category project. The other category (with the same name) disappears, so it couldn’t be select.
So if you can check this for it would be awesome, thanks.

Looping Video Element:
I would like to insert a video directly into a column that auto-plays, loops, and does not show the player button/bars. In a way, I would like it to act as if it was a looping GIF.
Is there any way to do this?

Hey aderynnn, as of now you’d need to use a Nectar Slider for this – however, Salient will be bringing video BGs to columns in the near future
The Nectar Slider Element has the same problem as the Image Gallery Element: they don’t have a setting that stops cropping. So my video is cropped. The slide/image height attribute always causes cropping. I imagine the column video BG will have the same problem.
It would really be great if you guys could improve both the Video Element and the Image Gallery Element, they’re such critical basic elements that many people need.
Video Element: 1. Auto-play function. 2. Loop function. 3. Disable player button/bars function. 4. No cropping
Image Gallery Element: 1. No cropping. 2. Fade transition effect.

Howdy! One super quick question: I cannot seem to edit the author profile heading on the auto-generated page. I am able to edit the category header through the category section of the post tab. You can set the archive BG from the Salient options panel > blog tab with the “Archive Header Background Image” option, and then you can specify specific header images per category when editing your categories in Posts > categories

Hey gennialedesign! That’s accomplished by setting one of the projects to a “Custom Content Grid Item” in the projects settings metabox – there will then be a new text editor for you to add content to, in that example I just added a nectar social shortcode

upgraded from an older version of salient to the newest one.
1) add_to_cart regardless of plugins running doesn’t show up. it looks broken when you change it via ajax. if you unajaxify the site the html button version shows up. If its ajaxed and one of the others(besides the main add to cart) its weird. looking
2) salient visual composer crashes the whole site on update too

found out the issue. You are putting the add to cart (for 2 of the 3 options) in the product picture. Which is being blocked due toa lightbox method I implemented. However, I am stiill stuck on another issue. because of the add_function of your add to cart implementation I am having to manually post to the site since I can’t seem to add quantity to output otherwise.
Got any code so that way I don’t have to rip it out? I am using the middle method to show the add to cart button for woocommerce right now along with

We have developed custom template for custom post type, and we need dark logo over header and light logo over content. We can’t manage to do that, and we’ve noticed that only one logo is being displayed in header.
