How do I completely hide from each page the link to the portfolio details page that appears on overlay preview images in the portfolio gallery?
I think this is the line of code:
But it is present in several parts of the code so I would not compromise how the theme works.
I just want to hide the link and not the prettyPhoto popup lightbox.

1) Sorry but it is not possible to move the WP portfolio image to theme portfolio. You need to select the image manually for the theme portfolio section.
2) Regarding the portfolio page issue, can you please try to disable all the external plugin one by one and check if the issue resolves. The issue might be some conflict with the 3rd party plugins.

thx for the reply. im finally getting things going and working on the site and appreciate all your support thus far.
i am trying to replicate the demo site for redart. i tried several times to download the demo via the theme options panel but it just wont import it. not sure why.
on the home page of the demo, what is the slider on the top? layer slider? rev slider? something else? i’d very much like to replicate it for the site i am building.
also, i cant seem to get the categories to appear for the products page. these weird thumbnails appear instead. any way or documentation to figure out how I can just get words instead or just remove them so the sorting dropdown list is the only thing there?

where i can find the dummy content for import revolution sliders?

There is a “revolutionslider-export” folder included with your download. The root level folder is called “package” inside of there are all the files, there is a “revolutionslider-export” file inside of their that has all the revolutionslider-export files.
If you do not have that then your download did not complete, visit your downloads tab on https://themeforest.net/downloads and redownload the theme. There is only one package users download and everything is inside of it.

hey there. really, REALLY love the theme and it is all sorts of PERFECT for the site I am building. honestly. I am concerned about the speed even with all the optimizing. and since this is for an artist’s site. optimizing pix compromises the quality which is also not ideal. im ready to make this purchase tho i need assurances that I can get a refund if the speed continues to lag and the support response in not timely. ive had a recent negative experience with the theme this purchase will replace.

Thanks for the appreciations. In our LIVE demo we have not used any cache plugins and hence the load time may be little slow. Once you purchase the theme and use some cache plugins like WP Total cache, the loading time will be reduced more than the time taken in our demo. We do not provide for this reasons.

for example the yoga image was shown first. sometimes the last image was shown first, the navigation below has the right marker on the first image. after a refresh the slider load correctly..
