I can suggest you to try to install WordPress on local installation https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/setting-up-xampp/ and then to install Bridge there and to import original demo so you can try this and if it working there like in my case you should try reinstalling theme on live site and also to try to disable all additional plugins because of some conflict maybe.

It is not clear what is the problem, but I think that you are saying that page sin’t loading when accessed from menu or some inner link. That is probably because plugins which you are using are conflicting with our ajax transitions. Page transitions create nice effects when navigating through website. When transitions are turned on, header and footer are not reloaded, only content get reloaded. This can cause issues mostly with some plugins because they demand their scripts to be loaded in header or footer and they are not. If you happen to experience this later on while you are developing your site, note that first thing to do is to turn off page transitions.
Page transitions can be turned off from:
1. general options Qode Options > General
2. local options (when you edit your pages), note that these settings will overwrite global settings from Qode Options for specific page
3. Also you can turn off page transitions for specific pages by writing page URLs from Qode options > General > List of internal URLs loaded without AJAX (separated with comma)

Hi, I am not getting the help I require on my tickets. You keep asking me to send you a URL when I am building the site on a localhost and cannot build it on a testing page/live. I need another solution rather than the repetitive “send me your URL”. Squarespace are quite capable of thinking outside the box on solutions, I am finding it difficult to get the support i need. Surely there is a solution for my question as many people would have already asked.
I want to know (if anyone out there can help also that would be great) how to anchor a section of a page from a drop down menu of my top nav menu. The tutorials on bridge are not sufficient, it doesn’t explain much to be honest.

I checked your tickets, and agents first try to give you some instructions, but if you are not able to creating layout or element which you wanted it is normal that they need to have access to your website so they can see options and settings which you have used, and to be able to inspect page with the issue. Bridge theme have great amount of options, features and functionalities and beside global options, there are also per page options, and even each element have its own set of options so none can imagine which combination of options is being used when they don’t have access at least to front page of the page which is being built and where users have some problem.

Yes, but you can upload it to sub domain if that is necessary. Agents also provided you with screencast on some of your tickets and since that isn’t enough for you then you need to go live.

I’ve had the Bridge Theme for several years. I went in to edit my pages and the Visual Composer isn’t showing up. It’s installed in the plug ins, but when I click on it, it just sends me to the webpage for Visual Composer. How do I get it to work again?- Thanks!

Hello! Thank you for the reply. I updated the theme, but still not having any luck with Visual Composer. I just get a spinning wheel like its loading. I click it and it goes to their website. I build all my pages using visual composer and it look like all the templates are gone. The classic mode works, but not backend. I’d love to figure this out, since I can’t change my site until I get this to work.

There is no option for turning them on and you shouldn’t because on touch devices users swipe, they don’t want to look for arrow in order to tap on it, and also enabling arrow will display them over slider text if it is little longer, but in case that you want to show arrows, you should be able to do that with following css code which can be applied from Qode options > General > Custom CSS field:

Probably you are using some additional plugin for google maps which now have to call map API like we do, so you have two calls for same resources and it might be similar to for recaptcha.
If you won’t use theme functionality for maps and contact form (recaptcha), you can contact our support and to ask them how to turn them off.

I have no plugin for Google map. And the captcha is that contact form 7 Google Recaptcha.

Yes, if you are using recaptcha from Contact form 7 then it will crate another call, and you need to disable our recaptcha call it is inside functions.php file, just comment it out or delete it. If you need detailed instructions for this, then contact our support as I suggested previously. I don’t know why there are 2 calls for map API, but I guess that it is something similar to recaptcha thing.

First, category slug option allow only one slug or -1 for all https://www.screencast.com/t/6UbG6SlVn and not list of slugs like you have specified. Also note that by limiting amount of portfolio items and by using load more, users will have to hit load more when they switch to some other category trough filter at the top of the list.

Yes, it will load portfolios from all categories. Unfortunately there is no any fix for that to filter load all items from that category, because script which we are using for the filter is working in that way
Possible solutions are:
a) to set all items to be visible without Load More functionality, to do that just edit yoour portfolio list shortcode and find Number option and file -1 instead of 8 and save
b) to disable filter option
c) to increase number of portfolio items on your page so you can have more items for each category

I have a question about the custom fields and saw some previous comments and that Bridge doesn’t support the default custom fields. So if I re-enable it, will it cause any conflicts with the theme? What if I use a 3rd-party app Advanced Custom Fields? Will that work? Thank you!

Hi guys, love your work. Just a quick question. I’m trying to setup a Parallax homepage but was wondering if I can have a QODE Sliders for each Parallax section rather than just on the page itself? I have tried doing this a different way using the Banner element but the text disappears when it’s hovered over.
In summary, my questions are:
1. Can QODE sliders be used multiple times on the same page for different parallax sections?
2. If not, is there a way to keep the Banner text so it does not disappear when hovered over?

1.Unfortunately not. It will work on top of your page when placed trough qode slider shortcode field on a page, and this is covered in theme documentation.
2. In that case, what would be the best way for me to create a parallax section with a background image and text.
I would like the text to be centered both horizontally and vertically (in the absolute middle) in a H2 tag. I have tried several ways but cannot get the text to appear in the middle.
