Pre Sale Question: Good afternoon, please i am interested in buying your theme. i wanted to know if there is a trial period given to test it out, or a money back guarantee in case Avada isn’t the right fit for me. Also, i was reading some of the comments to get a few of the experience of other users and i noticed a response that spoke to those hosting with Site ground. i currently host with Site ground and i do not intent to switch hosting providers, what issues will that present?

Thank you for your question and interest in the Avada theme!
All sales and licensing of Avada are actually handled through themeforest (Envato), so we’re not able to give out a trial license or offer a trial period for the Avada theme. However, the Avada theme is versitile with an advanced options system which allows you to setup just about any design / layout for your site without the need for custom code. There is a learning curve with the theme, but you’ll also have a minimum of 6mo free included support with your Avada purchase. That means you can contact us for assistance with technical issues, or just a layout or “How to” question and our support team will offer one on one hands on support.
Regarding the Siteground issue mentioned before, that is due to a serer limit which is set to low by default on their PHP 7 setup. You can just contact them and request they increase the below limits and you’ll be all set. They’re aware of the configuration issue and are willing to adjust it for your site, so you’ll be fine hosting on Siteground.
The server limits to increase are:
opcache.interned_strings_buffer opcache.memory_consumption

thank you for your response. i bought the theme. i have been having a little issue though. i used the fusion builder to build my home page, (the classic shop theme template)... i have been trying to customise the featured product tab so that tab corresponds to the tab title when clicked. check out sitetest.jaracake.com to see the issue live. thanks a lot for your prompt response. plan to luance tomorrow, this is the only issue causing a delay

You can actually do this through the theme’s translation process.
To change any theme/Page Builder Element generated text, you can use the same process that you would if you were translating the theme to another language. Below are some articles to help you with this.

I am installing the theme in a sub-domain of my client so that I can get to know Avada well before the final installation. I am reading the documentation and I have some doubts:
1. To register theme I will have to generate a token. Will I have to paste the token and also the purchase code of the theme? Or just the token? 2. Will the token I generate be unique to Avada or is it for my entire Envato account? 3. I am installing the theme in my Hostgator reseller, but as Hostgator’s support in replied that it can not increase the PHP time limit (they said their default is that – 30 seconds), I will later change the site to Bluehost. Will I have a problem registering the theme on the hostgator and then switching to Bluehost? Note: The PHP Max Imput Vars to Hostgator has increased without any problems. 4. Will the Revolution Slider and Layer Slider plugins only work with the registered theme?

1. To register your theme, you’ll only paste the generated Token key in the Avada Registration field on your website. We have a detailed guide on doing that here > http://bit.ly/1GrzAgY
2. It will only be used with Avada registration.
3. Your registration is for your license to use Avada and it’s not bound by any specific domain. One license is good for one end product. If you move to a different host, that won’t affect your license, you can just register again on your new setup. It would only be a violation of the license if you used the same license for two sites at the same time.
4. Yes that’s correct. You’ll need to register the theme in order to download the included premium plugins.

Hello, I want to purchase again the theme and use the modern shop demo. But I have a problem. In mobile version the products row, are shown 2 products. Can I do it to show only one. The mobile phone layout should always show you single product since the columns are set to 100% width on mobile layouts, if that is not the case please check your custom CSS inside Avada > Theme Options > custom CSS Tab.

I get a “Fatal Error” when trying to “Edit” any page, but only when the theme is registered with an Envato security token. If I take the token out, I can edit pages again. I’m concerned that ‘doing the right thing’ and using a token can cause such a major breakdown. Can you please assist?

This is strange and a token should have no effect on page creation as well as Fatal error at all, there must be something else in play so try and disable your 3rd party plugins and check again, also check your console too for any particular errors however if the issue persist we will require you to please open a ticket with us and our team will gladly assist you.
Also, i have a feeling you are on SiteGround hosting, if that is a yes this issue is due to the Opache limits that your server needs to increase for you.
Regarding SiteGround hosting, our team is in fact in direct contact with their network and DevOps architects. SiteGround do have an OpCache issue on their shared hosting platform, and it does not originate from or is due to WordPress or the theme. Their team have conducted extensive tests with higher global values for opcache.memory_consumption, which has caused an excessive memory usage and increased load on the server. Their default settings for OpCaache are not sufficient and need to be increased.
OpCache improves PHP performance by storing precompiled script bytecode in shared memory, thereby removing the need for PHP to load and parse scripts on each request. The SiteGround official explanation for understanding OpCache -> http://bit.ly/2oIy1qC
Their team has specifically instructed us to either refer existing SiteGround users that experience this issue directly to them and/or provide the official SiteGround workaround to resolve the issue.
The fix that can be applied, will set the following values as global for the shared hosting environment:
opcache.interned_strings_buffer = 16 opcache.memory_consumption = 128

Does the theme provide a sign up option for visitors?

Thank you for your question. Avada does have a User Registration / User Login Element which can be used to create your own custom site registration and login pages. That would be a way for users to create accounts on your WordPress site if you’re meaning to have site members etc.
If you mean for users to sign up for Newsletters / email lists, then you can use a plugin for that additional functionality.

I recently purchased your theme so I could update my clients website from an old version. I’ve run all the conversions and have done everything the theme told me to do with updates, conversions, etc. I’m still unable to edit the pages because I get this error:
Your page content could not be converted. Most likely it was created with an earlier (pre 5.0) version of Avada. To update old content to Avada 5.0 or higher, you must go through conversion.
I’ve gone through all the instructions on conversion and I’m not able to get this working. What needs to be done to get this latest theme up and running?

- Does the builder work on some pages but not others?
- Do you have custom HTML or have you made any changes to the shortcodes without using the Fusion Builder? (That would include using the shortcode generator directly on the page.)
- Does the Fusion Builder load for new posts / pages?
This issue is commonly due to some discrepancy in the shortcodes causing the builder to not be able to process and render the page builder UI correctly.

I believe 60seconds will be very less as we recommend 300 for the demos to import, i will suggest going for a better host to be 100% sure.

If you see the changes and they don’t and you both are certain you’re checking the same site / URL, then it would be due to cache somewhere. I would recommend they check from a different device which hasn’t viewed the site yet and also check from an incognito browser window.

Pre-sale question: about Avada demo called “Agency”, would it be possible to include a language switcher (multi-language site) as part of the vertical main menu on the left? E.g. between the menu options and the social icons, or between the social icons and the contact data.
I would like to include a language switcher somewhere on the left area but without changing the demo behaviour of that area when scrolling down (that is, when scrolling down just move/scroll the content on the right areas, but not the menu, etc -> menu+language switcher+social icons+contact info should be fixed on the left, no scrolling down). Hoping the idea is clearly explained…
