Hi, I have just been to see a new customer to possible do some work to there website, they use this theme purchased a long time ago, they are using wordpress 3.9.3 and I need to update this and the theme, if I was to purchase this theme again, would I be able to apply the auto update to it to get it to the lastest version without havig to install the whole theme again?

If you have valid purchase of our theme you just need to log in ThemeForest with account that you have purchased it and you will be able to update your theme whenever you have bought it.

First of all, you need to install VC upon theme installation. Than you need to enable VC for every post type in Visual Composer > Role Manager > Post Type and choose Custom https://www.screencast.com/t/WUw6JPVdKGO and than enable it for each Post Type https://www.screencast.com/t/qRDRl9LQJd .
If you still have no Visual Composer at the back-end than issue might be that your server resources are low to handle all Visual Composer requests and therefore it does not appear. Solution to that can be increasing server resources or disabling some iconic fonts.

Hello, One of my clients is considering the Moose theme, and we would like to ask a couple of pre-purchase questions to help our client make their final decision.
1. when viewing the left header demo (moose3), the left menu flies out on hover for subnav links. The client would prefer the left menu subnav to expand below each parent link instead of flying out across the page. Are there different configurations for how subnav links display? Is there an admin option for alternatives to the flyout?
2. when viewing the top header demo (moose1), the top pre-header and header w/nav disappears sometimes, depending on the mouse interaction. Is it possible to configure these areas with the nav to always be present and never go away? (I would assume this is a pretty standard configuration option, but it’s so important to the client that I would like to confirm.)

I wanted to install a little shop and bought some plugins for displaying WooCommerce shortcode via the visual composer, but It seems the Theme is stripping out all woocommerce shortcodes. The Visual Composer isnt showing anything WooCommerce related.

You are using some third-party plugins which we have not tested and we can not guarantee that it will work properly with our theme. You can always use default WooCommerce elements https://www.screencast.com/t/duSPnwbDKR8 since they are working perfectly fine with our theme.

That is only possible solution from our side, to disable certain Icon Packs so your Visual Composer is active in back-end. It is happening because your server’s resources are low and it can not handle all theme requests or because of some server limitations. For full solution you need to contact your server and check what is causing the issue.
Also, we can disable some other iconic font, just let us know in ticket which iconic fonts you intend to use.

We bought extended license for these plugins (Visual Composer and Layer Slider), and we can’t give you license code because of policy and terms of Theme Forest, because of that we included these plugins in our theme (you can find plugins in theme folder/plugins/ there are installation files of these plugins), also we will update these plugins to the latest version with theme update so you just need to wait for next theme update and there will be the latest version of plugins if it exists.
Then when you update theme you just need to go to your back-end Plugins and to deactivate/delete these plugin then you will get some notification to install necessary plugins to our theme, then just click to install/activate again these plugins and that will be all. If you don’t get this notification to install necessary plugins, then just go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload -> Find these plugins in our theme folder/plugins select one by one and click import/install.
You can ignore messages about activation these plugins, you have/get inside Plugin settings.
