how do i change the background color of the button in the construction theme on the top menu… i cant find where it is controlled, also the color of the 2nd container “do you have a construction project we can help with” how is that color changed? Thanks

Regarding your questions,

1. That button color will be determined by your default button color. You can change the default button color in Theme Options > Fusion Builder Elements > Button Element.

2. The second button in question is actually added as a shortcode through the Fusion Slider’s slide content. The slider is currently set as an assigned slider for your page.

Hi Avada, Fusion Builder plugin crashed my website. I was trying install it again and I got a message (Destination folder already exists. Plugin install failed). My website does not work without that plugin. Could you help me solve that problem please? Thanks

I’m sorry you’re having trouble here! If you partially installed / uninstalled the Fusion Builder plugin, then WordPress won’t let you install through the admin because it won’t overwrite the existing directory as a safety. To fix that problem, access your site through FTP or your cPanel file manager and go to wp-content/plugins/ and delete the fusion-builder directory.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to install the plugin through the admin again.

As for the plugin crashing your site, that has frequently been reported for users hosting on Siteground on PHP 7. The issue is known by Siteground and is related to low server limits which are triggering a fatal error. You can contact them and request they increase the below server limits for you and that should correct the issue:

opcache.interned_strings_buffer opcache.memory_consumption

If you’re not hosing on Siteground, but are using PHP 7, it’s still possible your host also has a low limit set for the above server limits.

If none of the above apply, try disabling all non-Avada plugins as it’s possible you’re getting a plugin conflict.

Fusion Builder and Core are not in the Zip file. Whats going on? Cant get my website to work withouth them.

We have a private server and cant make ftp connections from outside (internet). Only private from local net. We do need these files to be installed by us, not wordpress.

My support expired, but I finally got around to working on this theme. Updated to 5.1.6 just about a month ago, and lost all the theme options. I did a backup of database files, but didn’t export the theme options file. How can I import my old options?

Hi! I am looking to use this theme to build an internal site in which employees have to register for an account and then once I approve their registration they will be able to login and view all the elements of the site, but not make changes, just view it as a user.

Is this possible to do with the “User Login” function or is that only for administrative login? If yes, when I try to place the “user login” element onto a page and test it out, it tells me that the site is not currently taking registrations – how to I enable that if it can be used like I would like for it to be used?

I appreciate any help you can offer! I absolutely adore this theme, I’ve purchased it more than 20 times for different sites I’ve built and continue to like it more with each site.

You can use the User Registration element to add a Registration Form on your site.

To allow registration on your site, go to WP Admin > Settings > General; then be sure that you’ve checked the box “Anyone can register” and also set your default user role. That will be what’s assigned to new users that register on your site. (see > http://prntscr.com/fmkaek)

If you’re wanting users to only see your site from the frontend and not be able to make edits, then you’ll want to keep them as “Subscriber” level.

Avada doesn’t modify user role permissions, so if you needs outside of what is available in the default user roles, you may want to look into using a user role modifying plugin.

Hello, I have a problem with background image on website, and I am stuck on it for 5 days, background image property just wont apply to mobile version of website ( background-attachment: fixed; ) On every responsive checker is ok, but on actual mobile device is still ( background-attachment: fixed; ). I have my own purchased copy of Avada and my friend has her own purchased copy of Avada. She is not adept at wordpress so she asked me to ” fix” her site with the new Photography Demo. Her Avada was not updated so last night I had her go through the steps of generating the API key from her own account which she did successfully. She had previously entered registration when she first installed Avada by the way. Hooray! I was able to get her purchased Avada theme to update and then I updated all her plugins etc and decided to get some sleep and continue importing the demo this morning. Alas, when I went to the DEMOS in the updated Avada Admin, now it is once again asking for those same registration steps and a TOKEN. I have contacted her and asked her to once again go get yet another token for me to be able to work on her site. Now, since she actually purchased this we will not encounter any issue getting the new token, but what a pain in the rear this is becoming. If every time we need to update Avada one must jump through all these hoops, then the “easy updating through registering” is actually not so easy at all. I take NO ISSUE with Envato author’s protecting their valuable work, and does not mind having to register purchases, but my time is just as valuable as well. Now in order to complete her site I have to wait for her to find time from her busy work day to go re-register and input the token YET AGAIN before I can complete my work. I hope we do not need to generate a token every time we update Avada if we are having friends and clients purchasing it to use on their sites. Seems to me it should be register once, input API once, input that token once and then that’s it, Bob’s Your Uncle. Avada is an awesome theme, hopes you will take this into consideration.
BTW, long story short, it says in my bio I am an Envato author. I am not. I am just just an every day Josephine. I pressed on the Become An Envato Author button once a couple years ago to see how people become authors and suddenly I was an Envato Author. I contacted Envato and asked them to undo this and was informed that it can not be undone. I tell you this because I do not want you to think I am in any way attempting to disrespect you. I am not. I think this theme is one of the best themes on Envato.

First of all, thank you for the putting your good words about our product as we really appreciate all kinds of feedback .

Coming to your query and feedback, there is a bit of misunderstanding here and let me try to make it clear.

1. You do not need to register your theme again and again at all, once its registered you should be able to import the demos just fine and good without any issues.

2. API key or purchase code is not required anymore as the only thing you need to register theme as well as import demos is the “Token”

3. The reason you have to re-register this time is simply because we changed our registration method to make it more simple in our 5.x version as earlier you needed 3 details to register i.e your username, purchase code and API key, now you only need 1 token that does everything for you so if you are coming from a pre registered 4.x theme you have to register once again using the new token method and that is it, no more registering will be required for you in future :)

You can simply delete the W3TC plugin and it should remove all the files for you, no other files are required to be removed and in case you have any issues with any specific file related to the plugin we suggest you to get in touch with the plugin author, however if you need our support we will love to look into your issue :)

I am not sure about your query but you can buy as many licenses as you want, Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.

If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

You can create a one page site with our theme however a live stream is a 3rd party service so you have to use any particular kind of plugin or service for this, we have never tried any particular plugin in this case but i did a quick google search and found these plugins that you can try

If I have a site running on Salient and make the leap to Avada, will it run (with the Visual Composer code) or will I be down for a couple days while I copy/paste everything into Fusion?

What is the best way to migrate from VC to Fusion with the least amount of downtime?

You actually can not migrate from “VC” to “Fusion Builder” literally, what i mean is that both are different builders and they use different codes so its not possible to run one’s code with other, you can indeed use “VC” in Avada but then you have to disable our own Fusion Builder. Have you tried enabling the JS and CSS compiler from Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Dynamic CSS & JS tab? please also try resetting your fusion caches too from the same tab however if the issue with size persist do open a new support ticket and our team will gladly assist you.

Hi, I’m working now with the theme but I have some doubt abouta the icons, I use the size checked in the template but when I view in a mobile this Icon appears pixelated, what values Need to use in photoshop to obtain better resolution in the icons?

This would depend on which icons you are using, the size of them, etc. It’s best to submit a ticket so our support experts can look at it directly and see what is going on.

Also, if you use Font awesome icons, they are never pixellated as they are vector, so you must be referring to image icons I assume? Our support team will help.
