I want to move over from another theme to this theme. 1) Does Visual Composer work in conjunction with your builder, without having to disable one of them? 2) How fast will the website generally be after W3 is set up and configured?
Also, does this theme have a version that is compatible with the latest versions of woocommerce and wordpress?

Just to answer your last query first incase there is some misunderstanding here, our theme is 100% compatible with the latest version of WordPress as well as latest version of WooCommerce, we always stay compatible with the latest version of both since a lot of our userbase does use WooCommerce plugins and being compatible with WordPress is always a priority and must.
Secondly, since we have our own Fusion Builder we have never officially tested the Visual composer with our theme, i will suggest you to try our Fusion Builder once and you will definitely like it, you can read / learn more about it here => http://bit.ly/2gwIdfX however you will only be able to use either Fusion Builder or Visual Composer at 1 time, you have to disable our FB if you want to use VC.
Regarding the speed, it actually depends mostly on your content however please check the speed tests below.

Thank you for your question. That plugin isn’t officially tested against Avada for compatibility, so we’re not able to make any guarantees. However, I searched our tickets and was unable to find any tickets submitted regarding this plugin and Avada. In most cases, Avada will work just fine with other plugins.
You may want to contact the plugin author and ask if they’ve done any tests against Avada for compatibility.

Hi, I disabled sidebars on blog posts in the Theme Options, but when I create a new blog post, sidebar is still activated by default. How can I change that ?

Have you set the global sidebar option to YES? you need to set the global sidebar option to YES only then each blog post will take that setting you have put inside theme options or else the post setting will always overwrite the theme options settings, please check from Avada > Theme Options > Sidebars > Blog Sidebars

I just purchased Avada yesterday, and I do not see a quarter of the benefits described in your ads, as part of the upload. Very disappointed. Not what i thought it would be.
Do you have a tutorial online or in youtube on how to make things work. Cannot install my image heading, the sidebar will not display, and I have duplicate list and photo on similar stories in the footer. Also there’s no instruction on how and where you can install a slider?? Also not too happy that I bought extended service and have no options to even submit a ticket or chat. Did put through a requested for the extended support to be refunded.

We certainly do have several venues for you to get resources to learn about specific theme functionality as well as contact us through support. Regarding duplicate content, that could be due to a demo import which was processed two or more times. This can be checked by our support member when you send in a ticket, or you can just remove the duplicate content.

What you see there is actually just 4 columns and we are using 0px spacing in the columns spacing field as can be seen here in this screenshot => http://prntscr.com/fqt3br

Hi. Can the Counter Box count down from a specific date… like 130 days until an event, tomorrow it will read 129 days, then 128 days, etc. automatically?

All available Google Fonts work without having to edit the URL or protocol in our theme, this should never be required to load a particular google font in any case and if that is happening we will need to check it for you as to why its happening in first place, we will suggest you to please check all your 3rd party plugins as well in this case and open a ticket with us using the link below and our team will gladly assist you.

That wouldn’t cause issues as many Avada users are http and are able to load the Google Fonts just fine. There must be something else going on here.
You can check the browser console for errors. If the resource is failing to load for a specific reason, it should be logged there when loading the page. It will look like this > http://prntscr.com/fqnd0s

Hi! I’m using the plugin Async Javascript to improve perfomance. Everything works so far except the Google Maps Shortcode of the Page Builder ist conflicting with Async Javascript, showing a blank area instead of a map. Do you have a workaround to fix this?

Hi. after i started to use the child theme, every link in mi site has this structure: “https://ceropinchadas.com/?v=42983b05e2f2”... I have lost every menu and other links. I don´t know what is that ”?v=42983b05e2f2”. I thought it was my hosting, but i installed another wordpress in a new directory and it didn´t have that issue. Please help me ASAP

It looks like you have geolocating enabled for WooCommerce. You can disable that in WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > http://prntscr.com/fq7lsr
Once you disable that, the query string should be removed from your site address.

Hi I am about to purchase another Avada license but I need to make use I can achieve one feature I need. I know you have events calendar build in. Is it possible to use the Upcoming Events plugin to display upcoming events on a page without the sidebar? I would like to have a full page home page layout and have the upcoming events displayed in the middle of the page so the sidebar will not be used. Is this possible?

I checked the WordPress free plugins repository and see a plugin named “Upcoming Events Lists”. This plugin seems to only use a widget to display content. If this is the plugin you’re referring to, you could have a page without a sidebar and just use the Widget Area element from the fusion page builder. It’s a widgetized element which allows you to add widgets to the page content, so you should have no problems getting the layout you’re referring to.
Note, this plugin isn’t on our recommended plugins list, which means we haven’t tested this plugin for use with Avada. That being said, in most cases there are no issues with third party plugins that are coded following WP standards.

Hi, no I am referring to the Events plugin that comers with Avada-The Events Calendar. When you install Avada it prompts you to install this plugin foments. Am I able to list upcoming events in column view on the home page without a sidebar or is the only place the upcoming events can display is in a footer widget or sidebar widget. Do I have the ability to ad in a plug to the page builder itself so I can place the upcoming events that pulls from the The Events Calendar on the page where ever I want.

You’re currently using the “Default” template which will need to be switched to 100% width template by editing the page and in the “Page Attributes” box, change the template accordingly.
To change your column count, you’ll want to go to the Blog element’s settings which are also in the editor and set the column count to 6 > http://prntscr.com/fq31ga

Hi, I have V5.1.6 installed and want to use Fusion Builder to install part of a Demo site. I go to the Fusion Builder, Library and then select the Demo tab. I was expecting to see a dropdown listing the available Demos to choose from, but I don’t see the dropdown at all. Not even an empty dropdown? I’ve already re-registered the purchase etc. and that has made no difference. Any ideas why the dropdown is not appearing? Thanks.

That will mean your wp-content/uploads folder isn’t writable. You’ll want to contact your hosting provider and have them double check that your server’s permission settings are correct and that the directories ownership is correct as well.
Permission settings should be 644 for files and 755 for directories.
