The menu is black when I want it to be white. I’ve tried following the instructions regarding changing the column text skin, dark and light etc. But has no effect on the colour of the menu, it stays black.

Hi, great theme (uncode).
Loving the theme very much, but I have 2 minor problems, to which I can’t find answers in help center.
1.) I would like to implement a video – full width poster with hover responsive play button to click; and a video to open in lightbox. Basically just like on your first uncode demo site under other demo pages (video – how to install uncode theme). It was really one of the main design features that convinced me to buy a theme, so if you could please help me.
2.) For the icon box widgets, I have my own icons. On desktop they look great, but when looking on mobile they are blurry. I have tried to upload png icons the same size as seen on desktop; but also tried to upload bigger sizes and then making them smaller in wordpress media library editor. How can I fix this?

I hope you can help, i’m out of support but im sure this is an easy issue to fix and im just missing something.
We are using the masonry layout to display portfolio items. But for some reason, I can never get them to line up flush.
to demonstrate we have two small images on the left and one large image on the right all with the correct height settings so they should line up but we get this – https://ibb.co/kmXZXvNotice the white bar at the bottom.
the image sizes are the follow two on the left are 1600×1000 large on the right – 1600×2000
any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix it

Hi Allanr101 and sorry for delay! It’s really not easy understand from a small portion of an image and without a code check. How many images do you have in this Masonry? Are you sure the images are all same size? Have you tested what happen if you use the Metro mode instead? In case this not helps, please send us a bigger image or your preview so we can tell you what is the problem.

Thanks for the prompt reply. How do these themes get the slider to slide under the menu or get the background underneath the menu? I installed the demos but the background and the slider didn’t seem to be underneath the menu.

I’m trying to customise the Creative Event theme. I’m having problems adding images to sit behind text, as they do in the example. I’ve gone through every setting I can find. I’ve added a background image behind the text, but it’s cut into a small box around the text (it doesn’t fill the area behind the menu etc).
I’ve managed to change the text. I’ve added images but they work don’t in the same way the demo does.
How do you, for example, replace the image of the buildings at the top of the page?

I am just wondering about an issue that keeps happening when we click on the dropdown menu when using your theme, there seems to be an issue with the overflow and we keep getting a bounding box that wraps around the menu.

Okay, so if I inspect the site and resize it there, it works fine, but if I just resize my browser window then the issue happens.

All extensions have been disabled, I thought it might have been an issue with a dual monitor setup but I have tested it on a single screen, and the issue is still happening.
I have tested it on Chrome, Safari and Firefox. All have the same issue.

Second and most important happen cause you are on Mac and you have active the option that always show the sidebar on your System: http://undsgn.d.pr/zitVPV/3sa1xGIv
The important is that this is not an issue when you browse with a real device that don’t have sidebars.

I created an API with the label Uncode, but I get the response: “Invalid credentials, or your Envato account does not have Uncode among purchased items”
It seems there is an incorrect response from the server, some users need to ask their host if the connection with Envato is interrupted (in simple words your server need to communicate with Envato server). Hi there, I really love Uncode, but I just spent the hole day trying to solve an issue about the Visual Composer that is only working for new pages and content blocks. This really seems to be something that happens only on version 1.5 since other websites running 1.4.x works just fine. This is really annoying mainly because I don’t want to spend 40 bucks to receive a clue for a single issue. And trust me: I’ve tried every single option available on the internet. Very disappointing

We are sorry you have this issue but as you can understand this is not an issue of the 1.5 otherwise all messages here should be about this problem while you are the only one reporting this oddity. So have you disabled all extra plugins? Is this server compliant with the requirements? Does this happen after an update or this is a fresh installation of Uncode that present this issue from the begin? Are you using Cloudflare?
Hi, I’m having an issue when visualising my page. On the mobiles the page loads the pictures and images I’ve uploaded on the wp library, while on the desktop version it seems to fail it. I’ve checked multiple times on the wp admin panel and, when trying to edit the single pages, the contents are disappeared. I assume, then, that’s must have something to do with the theme itself. When I went through the page code, I see errors in the Java Script. Now my website results as empty as an offline and I’m really concerned about it. I’d be glad if you could help me solving my problem. Thanks!

Hi, You’re alright, I didn’t share much infos. My website is www.andrearicca.net and I wanted to edit some sizing of the thumbnails and fonts on the overall layout. When into the editor I discovered the issues I mentioned ealrier. My Uncode version is 1.1.1 and my wordpress version is 4.7.5. If I remember right the theme was optimed for this version but I’m starting to believe I did something wrong. Thanks a lot for your understanding and help.

Ah ok this is an old issue happen to all themes that use Visual Composer after the 4.5 WP update last year “If you have updated, or your WordPress has automatically updated, to version WordPress 4.5 you need to install at least the Uncode Theme version 1.3.2, the new Uncode Core 1.1.3 and the new Uncode Visual Composer 4.11.2.1. There is a compatibility issue between Visual Composer and the new version of jQuery (JavaScript library) bundled with the new version of WordPress.”, find more infos here:

Hi, Thank you for the quick response! I did all you said, installing all the theme updates. Now Uncode is updated to 1.5.1 and Visual Composer to 5.1.1 (wordpress updated to 4.8 also). I deleted the cache as recommended. The admin pages’ editor now shows me the contents and the the visual composing interface, but on the actual website everything is still blank. What did I do wrong?

Would just like to check if it is normal for a product page to load a lot of scripts in the header section? I turned on the Chrome Developer Console, loaded my product page (https://interstellargoods.sg/shop/interstellar/bobby-anti-theft-backpack/) and discovered this.

Just a slight issue – when I enable “Load Javascript Asynchronously” the mobile menu bar does not show up. Is there a JS that I can exclude for the mobile menu?
Also, when I enable “Load CSS Asynchronously” the initial load page is skeletal, before the shapes take form. Is there a CSS script I can exclude to improve this initial look?

I’m really disappointed. I found the whole feature clunky and actually even the build query after putting in my parameters (such as separate tags) it would bring up products that are completely unrelated to what I put in.. the post products thing doesn’t work for me. Is there just a script I can use to expand the carousel when I do a normal block?

I will open up a ticket. I don’t know why but I can’t even see the queries I put in. It worked for me during the first hour (inputting a tag even though it disappears and can’t see my input) but now any query I put in has random products not related to what I put in. Strange issue.
Sorry but a popular top-seller theme like Uncode doesn’t work fine for few hours and then broke itself, this make me thing that possibly some resources went over (are you on a shared host) or you are not compliant with Memory Limit in the System Status. Anyway we remind that if Uncode is not the theme for you, I understand you are not happy with this product, you can also ask for a refund.
Yes it is strange. Really quickly—is the build query supposed to disappear the text when you enter it in? It happened from me at the start. If I added a category such as “entrees” it would spin wheel then disappear. The only time I could see if it was correctly inputted was going into single modules.
I am on pretty decent cloud hosting and my memory limit is 256mb.
