Good afternoon! I’m writing because I installed a theme on my site, the “resume”, and I detected a problem … When I insert an image and I insert an external link to open in another window and I’ll test nothing happens … the cursor appears with the “Hand” but the link does not happen. Already when I insert an external link to open in another window in the carousel the link opens right. The address of my site is: fineartdecor.com.br/ole and the link that inserted the images with the links that do not work are: “portfolio” and “Lojinha Olé”. Can you fix this problem? Thanks…

You can add shape dividers in Avada as well, though there’s not currently a dedicated tool for creating them as in that video.
You can find Avada’s shape dividers demoed near the bottom of our What’s New in 5.0 page here > http://bit.ly/2qFJb38
Those are added through the Section Separator element in the Fusion Builder. To have a smooth transition, you can add that to its own container element, and have the top and bottom padding 0px for the container with the Section Separator, and the padding of the container elements around the Section Separator element.

it seems that this theme is not really focussed on woocommerce, there are quite limited designs which can be used or is it not really exploited in your demos.
and i’ve been reading that you don’t have the auto popup “newsletter signup” feature which is a common feature for most shopping carts nowadays. Cant this be worked out?

What i meant was more on common cart functionalities, like One page checkout, quick view, view cart option (floating for example). Stuffs like those.

We do have one page checkout which you can simply enable using our Theme Options for sure, however Cart has its own page but if you are looking for floating elements where you can open them in modal this is not an option right now but we are continuously listening to our customers and if you think something should be added do send us an email to support@theme-fusion.com please.

Something exactly like this is not a possibility right now, we do have sticky sidebar however but you can only place widgets inside it at the moment and placing your custom content however in a column and make it fixed like that will require custom work.

We have no such functionality by default actually, however this will require you to use some kind of user management plugin where you can set the roles for them and restrict the users to access specific parts of the WordPress.

Hi – I am exploring switching from Enfold to Avada. Two questions, (1) Does Avada have some sort of a tool to make that switch easier? and (2) Does Avada support two clickable menu items in the header (left and right)? Thanks!

To answer your questions:
1 – Right now there is not conversion tool for this. Any adjustments that need to be made, and there should not be too many, will need to be done on a Staging site and then migrated over to live when done
2 – mmm, can I ask you to please elaborate on this one? What specifically do you need to achieve?

1- I assume any pages built with the Enfold Avia Layout Builder would not work on Avada, so those pages would need to be 100% rebuilt form the ground up? They are not built with the standard Wordpress editor, instead you click a button to go to the Enfold Avia Layout Builder.
2- I would like two logos in the header, one at the left and one at the right, and they should both be clickable to reach other pages. Hope that makes sense. You can see living example at www.thomashenthorne.com

1. You are right about this, as any page that is built with the custom elements (shortcodes) of the Enfold theme, they have to be rebuilt with Avada since our Fusion builder will not render those as each custom shortcode requires its own builder to execute / render it.
2. Yes that is doable with our header-v4 and you you can select the banner area there to set the logo on right side.

Every page builder uses its own elements actually so its not possible to use one builder elements with another builder however if the content of your site is created using text (simple text) then there should be no issues using that content with our Builder.

Since our support-license has expired I am no longer able to simply “update” Fusion-Core & Fusion-Builder when new versions are shown. Each time I try “update”, the installation gets damaged. Only way – and a stupid one – is, to delete both plugins via ftp (whole folders) and completely re-install. Is that a “wanted behavior” to force customers to extend support?!? It is ridiculous that a normal plugin update is no more functional!

We hear you loud and clear, however allows us to clarify that Envato introduced paid item support back in September 2015 and we theme authors had zero control or influence over this. What we do know is this:
- Your plugins cannot simply fail the update process because your support has expired
- 340 000 + Avada customers and if the update process simply did not work, like for instance the plugins not updating, then it would not work for anyone and we certainly would know about it.

I’ve purchased two licenses of this theme for two different clients, but I have a question relating to the animation effect that each element can have.
No matter the settings I choose, there seems to be a delay on all the animations. For example. I scroll down and when I hit the top of the element that is supposed to appear it doesn’t start the animation until a few seconds have passed.
Is there a way to change this?

Hi, post title’s on my site using Avada seem to be h2. I was under the impression that they should be h1 for SEO reasons.
It’s ok, I’ve found the title in the Page Title Bar is h1, when you select post titles under the featured area it’s h2.

I have a client who is using Avada 3.7.3 (old I know) and WordPress 4.3.11. When upgrading to Wordpress 4.8 the blog disappears. This has been documented and a fix provided previously. https://theme-fusion.com/forums/topic/blog-shortcode-no-longer-display-timeline-after-upgrading/ However, upgrading to a latest version of Avada is not possible as too many things break (a child theme is been used, however stuff still breaks). Even upgrading to 3.8.8 which is suggested in that old post probably breaks too many things. Is it possible to get a fix to get the blog working just for Avada 3.7.3? We will renew our support if necessary, however we want to know whether this can be fixed without upgrading the theme first. Thanks

Unfortunately, there’s not a retro fix for this issue and it will need to come through updating the theme.
If you have template overrides in the child theme, those will need to be looked at again after or they’ll likely cause errors in the theme due to the large span of time between your version and the current Avada 5.2.1.

Hello, I have bought avada from the username ankurkhamesra. I am using your construction layout. Need one help, In the service section there is tab section. How do I make that Tab section sticky? So that when the user scrolls the info should be visible?

There’s not currently method of making content on the page, sticky when scrolling. However, we’re always improving and adding to Avada’s features. The AMP WordPress plugin does work as intended with Avada. However, the plugin will remove many of Avada’s features on mobile, as that’s what it’s designed to do by the plugin authors to improve mobile speed.
