I’ve found this strange issue with the post dates: they are correct in the footer area widget, but in the blog page all dates are set to 1 January 1970. I can’t figure out to solve this issue within Unicaevent theme. Is this a bug to be fixed or is it something in the theme/wordpress settings? Thanks in advance for your help

The issue on your website may be caused by 3rd-party plugins, please try deleting each one by one to see which one is the problem. (e.g. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/01011970-date-problem/)

Hello there I have never edited any content in WordPress format before. Yesterday I bought the contents of theme website named Unica – Event Planning Agency Theme from themeforest. But I thought it would come across all the items I see as it is in an html-style. There is only one slidebar and an empty white page. It is almost impossible for me to organize this theme. Hi, this is a pre-sale enquiry. I am totally new to Wordpress and I have a 3 questions before I purchase.
1 – Is this product suitable for absolute beginners? (I have web hosting already and WP is already installed) I’ve read the documentation and think I can get this theme to work for me.
2 – I love this design and think it will be perfect for my needs. I don’t need the bit labelled section 3 (it’s labelled section 3 in the documentation notes) is there a way to hide it or not use that part?
3 – Would it be possible to leave out the contact form on the home page, and put in a custom made one on the dedicated contact us page. I ask as I need a fair bit of information from my enquiry form. I think I would have to build one from scratch and insert it.

1) Theme allows you to manage the content using Visual Composer so you do not need any special coding skills to run the website. Please contact your hosting provider to make sure that your PHP configuration limits are as follows: max_execution_time 600 memory_limit 256M post_max_size 32M upload_max_filesize 32M These settings are needed for one-click dummy data installation. 2) Any section of the page which you do not need can be easily removed in admin panel.
3) You will be able to add/remove the contact form to any page. The form fields can be customized in the theme files. You can also create a Custom form using Visual Composer and add the needed fields : http://prntscr.com/em4rb3

Yeah there are a number of VC issues with this theme. Needs to be sorted out. For Example the Google Maps widget just doesn’t appear to work? Also I don’t know why the theme developers have built their own elements when they are essentially doing the same as the standard VC elements that actually work.

The map address should be entered either in Theme Options -> Footer -> Google map parameters or using Visual Composer and Googlemap marker element: http://prntscr.com/ejs79k You can decide which elements to use – default VC or the theme ones. Hi thank you for your reply. Also the black WP admin bar is broken on the theme. The dropdowns for the admin bar do not work? perhaps a z-index issue?
