We would like to have an ‘offers’ website which is a collection of discounts etc offered by select providers and only available to subscribers or members. Redemption is a key factor as it will vary – from a print and take into store, to using a generated code (is this feasible with your theme?) over at supplier online store to get discount.

As you can see from the demo, the deal http://subsolardesigns.com/couponhut/deal/weight-loss-fitness/ is a printable one. You can have one print image per deal. There is no generator included.
I get this error when trying to install the page builder add on in Unsyon “Backup & Demo Content” extension github repository “ThemeFuse/Unyson-Backups-Extension” has no releases.
So cant install the demo content?
It seems your hosting is blocking addresses that WordPress wants to connect to. Please contact them as this is not a problem with the theme.

1. The theme doesn;t have an option to send the vouchers via email.
2. There is an option to prevent or allow not logged users from redeeming the offers.
3. Yes, there is also a per deal option for Members only.
4. No such option available.
5. Such detailed and personalized functions will need additional theme customizations by a freelancer.
6. There is a purchasable deal option that uses WooCommerce for the payment.

I would like to still enable the Deal Expired button so users can still click on it and go to the expired link. Could you please advise how to do it.
Currently, when a deal is expired it disables the button. I would like to re-enable it.
Re-enabling the button will make the deal function again and then there will be no sense of having an expiration timer.
i just need to link it since the button is going to an external url. I still want to drive traffic to the external URL if that makes sense.
For such change, you will need to make changes to the core theme files. More precisely the couponhut\partialcontent-single-deal-box.php file.
Contacting a freelancer is recommended if you are not able to edit PHP files.

Thanks for the interest in the theme. Can you specify how do you want the deals to be generated? You can import them from elsewhere with an .xml file.
As for the theme it doesn’t automatically generate deals from other websites. Also there is no option to automatically send deals to users.

Thank you for your fast reply. We are okay with posting the deals on the website by hand. And sending deals to users is also not necessary.
But we were wondering how to order process goes. So if someone is ordering a coupon, do we still have to make the coupon by hand and send them all individually? Or does this theme also have a plugin or something which will generate automatically the coupon (with a own-made template) each time someone orders it and send them automatically? Or do you perhaps know if a plugin like that exist and is supported by your template?

Each deal with coupon has a single image file attached to it. When it is retrieved, the user can download/print the image file with the coupon code.

The image must be uploaded by the administrator. It is not automatically generated.

Hello, could you explain what you mean by “loads complete article, but not windows”?
Adding WIdget Area from Appearance > Menus and then from the left sidebar “UberMenu Advanced Items” > Widget Area > Add to Menu. adds such are to the navigation. THen hovering the widget area menu item and clicking on Uber, enter a custom name for that widget area.
Then in Appearance > Widgets, you can insert the corresponding widgets to it.
Also need to know how webmaster monetizes the website: is it only by membership or can admin set fee/commission for each deal? Thanks.

CouponHut doesn’t have options for any monthly or per deal fees. For monetizing you can sell deals directly through the Theme with WooCommerce. You can also set deals with your affiliate links for them.

hello, in the coupoun hut theme setting i activate ‘Allow Deal Submit for Registered Users without Company’ but when i try to open submit deal in the page there are the message ‘Error! Please enter your Company Name in Your Profile Page.’.

Editing the theme.pot file doesn’t make any difference. I also don’t want to buy the WPML plugin for 170$

You can use the Loco Translate plugin – its easy and very straightforward to use.

hi in the ‘my account ‘page the link ‘my compagny and sumbitted deal’ give me error 404 when i click it. do you have some issues.
the user is registred as compagny and in the dashbord the name of compagny is written. if i try to click modify error 404 again.

Make sure that you are using the latest version of CouponHut. After that go to Settings > Permalinks in the admin dashboard and click Save. This should fix your problem.

Yes, each deal has a Redirect checkbox. When clicked and the External URL is filled, it will redirect the user to the site that you want.

i put some latest deals short codes on page called as front page alternative , and make that page as home page. in page attributes now parent= no parent , template = front page . when i change front page into browse deal template my home page become diffrent from the page i have created. lot of section are missing( featured companies, featured deals,box icon ,image carousel) pls tell me the i have to do. i dont want to change the style of homepage www.qlaila.com
Make sure that you create another (new) page with the Browse Template selected for it. It will be the page that will be loaded when deals are browsed. In the demo, it is this page – http://subsolardesigns.com/couponhut/deals/

You don’t have to make the new page a front one. You just have to select the Browse Template for it and publish the page.

Are you creating a new page? First, go to Pages > Add New in the admin dashboard and select the Browse Deals Template for that page. Don’t overwrite or change the template of your front one.

Don’t select Browse Deals instead of Front Page. Create new page and on that new page, select its template to be Browse Deals.

Okay, it seems you have already a couple of pages that use that template. Delete the last one that we told you to create. After that go to all your pages in the admin dashboard. Delete every page that uses Browse Deals template except one. Make sure that at the end you have exactly one page with Browse Template selected. Of course, you can have many other pages with different templates.

If the site has WooCommerce integrated I imagine this plugin should work to generate a pdf with a custom code/SKU for each deal sold: http://wpweb.co.in/documents/woocommerce-pdf-vouchers/pdf-vouchers-setup-docs (I intentionally linked to setup page because I’m hoping this is the options/functionality we’ll see). Do you know if this is the case?
The theme uses its own custom post type and not the WooCommerce Product one. Thus, this plugin will be incompatible with it.
I really like this theme and would like to purchase, but I’ve been spending a lot of time reading through comments and it seems there are some things lacking in functionality. Since many of the answers are months or years old I’m hoping some things have changed in updates.
Questions for user experience:
1. When they purchase a deal (ie $10 for $20 of food) do they get a voucher that has a unique code on it? It seems like you were saying they get a jpg that we or the vendor uploaded—if that’s the case, what prevents the user from making 20 copies and using it 20 times? It seems like an obvious function should be one voucher per buyer with a unique code that can only be used once. Can you clarify what they get upon purchase?
2. Upon purchase is a “Thank you for your purchase” email automatically sent with a link to their account or the voucher?
3. Not everyone has a printer anymore! Can a buyer show the voucher on their phone to a vendor to redeem?
Question for vendor experience:
4. Again, thinking about the fraudulent printing of the same voucher 20 times…how does the vendor know the voucher they are redeeming was indeed purchased and not copied?
5. Concerning redemption: Does the vendor have an account to mark vouchers as redeemed? Or can they redeem directly on the buyer’s phone (who is logged into their account and showing the voucher…this depends on the answer to question 3)?
6. Does each vendor have an account that shows purchases made? I’m assuming we’d be mailing them a check in that amount (minus any relevant fees)?

1) The is only 1 code per deal available.
2) Ther is no such functionality.
3) There is an option to show “Download Image” link next to the deal button.
4), 5) Coupons can be set up to have a number of them available for purchase. When purchased enough times, purchasing further will be disabled.
6) There is no such functionality currently.

- On the deals page, is it possible to show the sidebar on top of the page on mobile view?
- Google Maps gives a ‘SensorNotRequired’ error. How to fix this?
- The sidebar is overlapping my WooCommerce Single Product Page. How to remove it completely on this specific page?
- I selected “Show Search Header: ON”. Why is it not showing on pages like deal sumbitting?
- On the homepage: when selecting a deal category, it links to the category page. Is it possible to change the link to the deals page with the specific category selected in the filter?

1), 4) No, there is no such option.
2) It’s only a warning and not an error, so there won’t be any problems with that. It’s just a parameter that Google no longer uses. It will be removed in the next version of the theme.
3) Search header is not displayed on the Deal Submit page as there is no role for it in that page.
1) and 4) need further theme file changes that are best to be directed to a freelancer.

2) Is there another warning in the console apart from the sensor one? It’s probably an API key error.
4) Make sure you are using the latest CouponHut version 2.8.9. If the problem still persists, please send us credentials to your admin panel and links to your problematic pages in the message box of the Support tab of the theme here. Please also write a short description of your problem.
Hello, thankyou for taking the time for me and providing me the hook.php file. Although it is a short-term solution, I’m not very happy with it. It is removing the sidebar from the WooCommerce Single product page like it should but it is ALSO completely removing the sidebar on the deals page 
How can we fix this the right way? Or when can we expect the update?

The problem is: the sidebar was overlapping and displaying on the WooCommerce Single Product Page. I don’t want it too. I only want to display it on the deals page.
You gave me a hook.php file, which removed the sidebar everywhere. I reported this. After that you have send me another hook.php file. Right now, the sidebar is displaying everywhere again. ALSO on the WooCommerce Single Product Page.
So basically; nothing changed..
The first fle that we’ve sent to you shouldn’t have removed the sidebar. It seems it was a side effect, as the WooCommerce single product pages use the theme sidebar by default.
You can remove it with a simple CUstom CSS (in Appearance > Theme Settings > Styling):

display: none;
}
