No, I’m afraid. We bundle only basic .PSD-files.

Great theme buy literally the slowest admin panel of any theme I ave ever used. It takes 4x the amount of time to get anything done. It’s beyond frustrating and just not worth it.

Thank you for feedback. However we strongly disagree with it.
Here’s why:

First off, there’s no buyers badge in your profile. If you are using pirated version of theme, slow admin area is the last thing you should worry about.

Second, all admin area slow-downs that we’ve noticed were related to some buyers extensively installing plugins, not using them and leaving them active. This will definitely eat up lots of server resources.

Finally, The7 is a multipurpose theme. Like all multipurpose themes it is more resource demanding then usual blog themes. But this can only be noticed when you save theme options and The7 generates dynamic stylesheets. And it is definitely nowhere near to 4x compared to other themes..

First off, I do have a purchase code, my client purchased it for me to work on so it is not a pirated version.

Second, only 2 additional plugins were installed on this theme so it has nothing to do with the plugins. I have worked on hundreds of websites and this one is by far the slowest admin panel.

Finally, I looked through your support forum and you have quite a few complaints about this so it surprises me that you don’t acknowledge it and fix the issue.

Other than that, it is a great theme. Well done however, it is literally taking me 4x the amount of time to work on it than any other theme or custom WordPress website I have ever worked on.

how do you build a carousel for testimonials with arrows. there are a lot of testimonials..

This feature for Testimonials post type is in the pipeline. We are planning to release it early in September.

However if you are not planning to use testimonials layout(s) other then a carousel – you do not need to use a dedicated post type. You can simply use one of available universal carousel shortcodes instead.

Guys!! Why did you add the download image option to shared button on the lightbox?! noooooo!! Who want’s people to be able to download our images?! PLEASE take it off!!

For those who are also hating it, hide it puting the following on the theme’s CSS

.pswp__share-tooltip a:last-child { display: none; }

Also, there a bug on the “Photos masonary/grid” shortcode lightbox (since version 5.3. and still present on version 5.4), the lightbox will not work if shortocode configuration is set to show titles and/or descriptions.

I appreciate the constant work you guys put to always improve the theme, but I feel you should test the versions better before realeasing since it’s very often that we run into problems when updating. Having said that, The 7 theme is awsome and still love it!!

This is a good remark. As you know lightbox is integrated deeply into theme core. Sometimes there are very specific settings combinations / use-cases that we have not encountered when testing the theme. You’ve probably noticed in the changelog that we fix these issues as soon as we get reports about them.

We are very sorry for causing inconvenience for certain buyers. However old lightbox was desperately outdated and we had to change it.

Another update. Seems like we were able to reproduce the settings combination to trigger the issue. No need to submit a ticket. Update will be available in a short while.

For v.5.4.1 you said: “Fixed: theme options tabs are broken when switching to languages other than English.”

However, this is not the case, as I still can’t switch between tabs in either English (UK) or English (United States).

Are you aware of this? And is it being worked on?

The feature was introduces in v.5.

You can keep using v.4, but you will not be able to update plugins without updating theme to v.5.

how i update theme to v.5?

Only the classic anchor links (#anchor) works with this option. tried with #!/anchor but with no success

We issued a ticket as well but I am hoping there is a quick fix, it seems like all css scripting etc in the child theme is ignored by The7. Trying to use the Child Theme Codex gives us a variety of errors and the wp_enqueue_style used doesn’t match your theme.

I suspect it is an error in your theme bundle, hopefully a fast fix.

Only thing I can suggest is try using a dummy child theme that you can find in full theme package.

Hi, Not sure if you read what I had said. We are using the “vanilla” file you provided. It doesn’t work. No code changes to it, the child theme isn’t being recognized.

@pputlitz, I’m sorry, but your initial comment does not indicate whether you are using the dummy child theme that comes in The7 package OR creating your own, using guidelines from the WordPress Codex.

Many people are using child themes with The7 and, as far as I know, there were no similar reports.

Anyways, as I’ve mentioned earlier, unfortunately I have no expertise to help with this issue. We’ll have to wait for solution from proper support rep.

Hi, i love this theme !but after installation i get this massage “Please activate your copy of the The7 ConvertPlus to get update notifications, access to support features & other resources!” and if click to activate i get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” where is the problem ? :/

Sometimes there’s an error during the registration process. Simply navigate to your Plugins > All plugins interface; disable and then enable The7 ConvertPlus back again. This should trigger registration sequence and will most likely solve the issue. If not – please get in touch with our support at support.dream-theme.com

Pre Sale Question: Can tags be created in different tag categories?

Let’s I want to create some blog post that belong to different groups of tags. Say there is tag group for related country so, I’d have US, UK, France, and so on. I assume tags would be a way to implement that.

But if there should be other types of tag, e.g. a group of tags for technology – PHP, Python, Java, etc.

And there could be more groups for e.g. project size (small, medium, large), status (planned, in progress, finished) just to name a few things.

Obviously these different groups of tags should not be mixed up. Is there a way to do that, in the description it only states that tags are supported?

Unlike categories vertical hierarchy for tags is not supported in the WordPress. Maybe there are plugins for for that, but I’m not aware of them.

Good afternoon again! I solved this problem (my post above) by updating the theme. But I have more questions.

CSS:

1. Where is the main css file? Can I edit it from a WP editor?

2. Can I edit css-styles for respondent design?

Albums:

3. How can I change the number of displayed albums on the gallery page?

4. How can I cancel the publication of the file name in the gallery? Checkbox “Hide header” does not work. Manually remove the names of each photo for a very long time.

Bread crumbs:

5. I have photo albums (gallery) in the section “Our works”. They are divided into rubrics. When I go to the album (http://mf-master.nichost.ru/gallery/proekty-dmitrija-litvinova/), “bread crumbs” incorrectly display the path to the home directory. Instead of http://mf-master.nichost.ru/our-works/ the link shows http://mf-master.nichost.ru/gallery/. But this is not the home directory of this album. How to change this?

Hi! I have a problem with displaying photos in albums (for example http://mf-master.nichost.ru/gallery/stoly-i-konsoli/). Photos are no longer open in the lightbox and each photo is downloaded separately. I do not understand what happened. How do I return the view to the previous view in lightbox? Please help.

It appears “linked products” under the WooCommerce product page are no longer working. Can’t type anything into the fields for both Upsells and Cross-sells. I assume this it theme related since other sites I have WooCommerce installed on are working just fine.
