13A ) Modern is built as a stand alone design variation for the Real Homes theme. So, swapping sections will overwhelm the settings and limit several parts to vary in design variations. The plan is to add more design variations over the time that user can set with one click and start adding contents.

Also, calling new Real Homes variation as “Modern” doesn’t mean it’s something that beats “Classic” design. It’s just to differentiate design variations

I am not sure from which version you have upgraded to the theme version 3.0.2.

Default map icons images should be there under assets/(variation)/images/map directory.

However, in next theme update, we are going to remove that “map” directory completely. And you will be able to upload your map icons images from the property type edit/add page.

Hi, no matter from which version i updated. just donwloaded the latest theme version from Downloads section and inside /realhomes/images/ there is no image. Could you please check? If something didn’t break during downloading or extracting the files, then this is something missing from your side.

Concerning the next update, each property will fallback to the default map icon unless someone updates the edit property page with the preffered map icon?

The part to images directory would be like this: realhomes/assets/(design variation)/images

- No, it will not support old icons method as those can be added from the backend side easily.

1) Yes, you can add multiple agents to a property. See this example: http://realhomes-modern.inspirythemes.biz/property/villa-in-coral-gables/

2) You can’t add multiple maps by default.

3) Header variation is only available in “Classic” design variation for the time being. However, theme author has it in his plans to add multiple headers for the “Modern” design variation sooner.

4) It may be complicated for your purpose, but this theme offers pages templates to populate things in a much easier way. Whole theme can be set up based on theme detailed documentation.

5) Yes, it supports only 1 style for the “Modern” design and 2 styles in the “Classic” design.

6) No for the time being. While, in the classic design, you can change some sections variation.

7) Homepage is not built with Visual Composer. There are page templates to create homepages.

8 ) Submitting property and paying for them on your site is totally under your control being an admin. Also, you can add users manually and disable the front-end registration or simply allow user registration so anyone can register and post.

9) Property ID field is supported on the Submit Property page. You can enable/disable the Property ID automation from the theme settings.

10) You can create a form using contact form 7 plugin and then display that in the sidebar area of property detail page.

Regarding #4 – So is this page template editable whatsoever? What if I want to add a slider to the front page or modify it? I’d reasonably expect to do so with any theme. Is this a .php page template or a page in “Pages” that I can modify via wp-admin backend?

Regarding #5 – Since it only supports 1 style, where is the template file for the property detail page so I can edit it?

BTW, please take all of my inquiries as feature requests as they would add tremendous value to your theme and attract more buyers.

A really important feature request that would benefit all of your customers, is the ability to swap out simple design elemnts from the classic version with the modern version. For example:

13A ) It would be great if I can use the modern theme but replace this search bar:

with this one:

I don’t see anything wrong with the classic version and why it shouldn’t be considered modern, in fact it works much better on mobile as the modern version has some usage issues because of how it’s styled and won’t let you tap out of it on the phone as easily as you can with the “classic” version.

13B ) Just as it would also be great to be able to have this same styled sidebar search available in the modern version too

Same thing with the mortgage calculator which looks beautiful and would incorporate wonderfully into a property listing with the “modern” style

Can you have the theme designer look into providing breadcrumbs for the modern theme? I really like the ability to have this on the property detail page as someone browsing the site can quickly navigate to see homes in a particular area:

The link you have mentioned here the “Search Results” page. If you want to remove the sorting only on that page then use the following code to add into Customizer > Additional CSS box.

Real Homes modern design variation is using high-resolution images. You may be using the same or images similar in resolution on your site.

You can try to improve your site performance by optimizing the images for the web in any image editor tool. Especially, slider images. Also, try to use a good cache plugin for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/

1- This is a standard WordPress theme. You can import your feed to this theme with All Import plugin and this theme related All Import plugin add on.

WordPress has its own feed system. So there is a good documentation available by WordPress.

2- Similar properties can be set based on the location, types, status, features and several sorting options.

3- This is the way WordPress works. However, those unattached images can be deleted manually or through a relevant plugin with the ease of one click.

This theme handles agents as a custom post type. If you want your users to maintain their agent profile as well then you can allow them through custom user roles.

A default WordPress user also can be assigned to a property as an agent.
