My hosting used to have PHP 7.4 and the theme worked perfectly, they updated it to 8.2 and now it doesn’t work. General error and not even able to login to wp/admin. I had to disable Lily Toolkit to be at least able to login.

Hi @ThemeChills, We tried to import the demo content but it is not coming the same anyway. We need the same demo content imported as the preview https://themeforest.net/item/lily-wordpress-wedding-theme/full_screen_preview/12163479?_ga=2.26330997.914848495.1741103659-966272761.1740349631

If it’s possible then ok, if not possible then it’s worthless for us and we can’t use it. In that case we’ll ask for cancellation and refund.

Hi @Solarsteve1980, thanks for the your comment. The theme does come with the demo import so I’m guessing that you are pretty close at completing the setup.

After a successfull demo content “lily.wordpress.2021-09-07.xml” import it is not showing anything alike the preview https://themeforest.net/item/lily-wordpress-wedding-theme/full_screen_preview/12163479

As your private response I’ve missed unfortunatelly, could you send CC email to my developer via engshimul[at]gmail.com? If you do, then it’ll be a great favor to short-out this issue and make the theme usable for me.

Yep, looks like your close to completely the setup based on that screenshot. I believe you simply need to add the corresponding widgets and you should be good to go.

I’ve tried to utilize multiple fresh installations of WP (6.6.1, 6.5.5, and 6.4.5) to install the theme, but when I try to active the Lily plugin on each of those installations it crashes the installation with an unexpected error. I’m able to install and active all of the other plugins that come along with the theme but that one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

P.S: I am aware that there was an issue with the installation, but the latest update to the theme (v1.5.0) has resolved this. Feel free to message me directly though if you need a hand with things.

Hi there, regarding the timeline, I wanted to use this as an itinerary but I didn’t realise it utilises the publication date to label and determine the order. That means I can only post a timeline from the past. Is it possible to work around this to achieve a timeline that covers the span of a few days in the future?

I’ve installed everything and followed the step by step guide. But when I go to install the Themechills widgets on my homepage, there are none installed. When in the customizer and clicking on Widgets, there is this messege and none of the widgets that should’ve been downloaded: ‘Your theme has 2 other widget areas, but this particular page does not display them.

You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.’

How can I customize the time line? I don’t find the widget in the demo

Thanks for your comment. If you go through the customizer you’ll be able to modify/update the timeline as required. Also, be sure to watch the documentation videos where I explain exactly these steps.

Hi – we’ve just tried to install the theme and it would seem it is not compatible with Wordpress 5.4.x and PHP 7.3. Can you please advise?

Re your question, the theme is actually compatible with up to WP 5.5.1 (which is what the theme demo is currently on) and also PHP 7.3.11.

Many thanks for a great theme! As I have started to set it up, I noticed that your ‘homepage’ templates only allowed for one customised map to be used at a time across all pages using it. Consequently, I wonder how to create new templates to get around this or if there is another fix? Would I need to simply upload the template file directly through the ftp renaming it?

Tried to install the Demo version, but this is all I was left with. I understand that the actual images aren’t included, but where are all the other blocks/sections for the home page as per whats on your Demo?

Do I really need to buy an API key for the google maps plugin to be enabled? Or do you provide one?

Hello, I really like the look of the template. Can you tell me if it is compatible with the plugin wedding press? Also does this come with some sort of count down addon or would this need to be integrated in? I prefer the look of your theme but we are looking for something with a countdown to the day integrated into the main homepage

I”m wondering if you would permit me to email a couple of sample plates and a description of what I’m trying to accomplish with a new photo/blog site and seek your advise if Lily is, indeed, the best option for me. Thanks Salvy, support will only be provided on the theme itself though. This means, if you like, purchase the theme which comes included with the necessary documentation and video tutorials.

If you then run into any issues with the setup of the Lily theme I can help you out. Any customization requests to the theme are also outside the scope of support. Also, I can’t provide support for any external websites.

I purchased your full theme, but actually ended up using a different theme for my site.

However, I really like the countdown timer within your theme. Is there anyway to install that onto a different theme? Do you sell it separately as a plugin?

Regarding the countdown timer, I assume you mean the styling of the countdown timer? Or what specifically do you like about it?

As you’ll see the countdown timer is part of the Lily toolkit, so you could always install that, then apply the corresponding styling and it should work.

I installed the theme and get it running. However, I was not able to use the Contact form to receive emails of filled forms. I have done a lot of research and verified that I can send emails to any address through my linux server (I host the website in my own virtual server) using “mail” function. I tried to test the wordpress mail sending with some plugins, such as “check email”, and I could not received the email, which tells me that wordpress is the one that is not sending the email. I look at the function.php file within the theme, but did not find the wp_mail() function. I have spent a loooot of time on this, and sent a support request. Please help, I need to get my website online in 3 days… Thanks!

Regarding your question, I’m thinking it has to do with your default Reading settings.

If you go into these, then change the limit from 10 to any value which you want (if you want to show 29, then perhaps set it up 30), you should then be able to see all your profiles.

thank you for your great theme, bought it for our wedding and love it. I have two questions: 1.Is it somehow possible to make images in the timeline a little bit bigger? In our case, it will be more appealing. 2. Could I somehow use special theme widgets also on other pages than only a home page?

Hi, I would like to buy your theme but I have a few questions first.

My pleasure.

Regarding fonts, these can be changed – you would need to go into the functions.php file and change these to what you want. Some of my customers have also installed specific plugins in the theme which allows you to select the fonts that way as well, so the choice is up to you.
