The code is all written the same way, and the Featured Posts code is all located in one separate file where you can easily tell within the code where the different layouts begin and end.

Okay, I to figured out how to do it. I’ve got next question, Default Sidebar widget, it should display on all pages/posts etc.? Isn’t it? When I put my widgets in that area nothing shows on frontend

Simply put, PageSpeed scores do not affect SEO and you should not put too much weight on them. If they did, major news sites would be ranked pretty poorly since just about every site has a poor rating for both mobile and desktop. 15 is on the low end for mobile, but that’s mainly because of the images that are used, and not because the mobile version actually takes that long to load.

The scores are not necessarily a measure of how fast the page loads, but rather how well the site meets the criteria that Google has laid out. I would recommend testing other major sites in the tester and you would be surprised how poorly most sites score. In fact, Google might be one of the few sites to not test poorly on the mobile test, and even they don’t score higher than 80 on their own test.

So, again, I wouldn’t put to much weight on the score, but I will certainly always look for ways to improve the efficiency of the theme in future updates.

1) The top part is the Featured Posts section and will remain at the top, but you can choose between 5 different layouts for this section.

But below that is a widgetized areas and you can add as few or as many widgets as you want and move them around as you see fit.

2) There are some widgets that are not as reliant on photos as others, and you can display posts via a Tag or Category.

3) They are just for images as they are fulled from the Featured Post of the article.

I have not tested any ad plugins with the theme, so I can’t guarantee that they would be 100% compatible. However, the theme only uses html and javascript in the ad areas, so if the plugin uses shortcodes, it will not be compatible.

I would suggest using Google DFP as a third party ad management system, since they give you all the tools you need to track your own ads, and they give you javascript code that you can then use in the theme.

Also, unfortunately, a demo admin is not available for this theme.

The homepage area below the Featured Posts section is a controlled via widgets. So each section is a widget, and you can add as few or as many of those widgets to that area as you want. The Featured Posts section is easily changed from within the Theme Options as well.

Once the theme was released full of problems, I’m seriously thinking of going back to Newsppaper … The Theme here requires a lot to be used in a professional way. My rating is a star because it can not be smaller.
