how do i import demo content? [urgent] help!
You need access to the support forum. You can sign in into the forum with your Envato account only from the account that purchased the theme. Right now I see you’ve not purchased the theme, so in your case if you are building the site on behalf of your client than get then to sign in or whomever purchased the theme and get you the files. Is it possible to have the main menu on the top (full width), then the logo area beneath it? I have a client wanting to do this vs. having main menu below logo area. I tried just using the “top menu” to do this, but it doesnt display menu items properly on mobile that way. Thanks!

hi I was about to update WooCommerce to new Update to 3.2.1
I got a warning message to make sure my plugins do work 100% and compatible with the new version just fine with

should i go ahead with the update or wait your update for theme and plugin 1st?

it’s fine to update. You need to make sure you also install and activate the U-Design WooCommerce Integration plugin which comes with the U-Design theme. That plugin will make the theme and WooComm work together so it’s important you do that. I have installed the U-Build demo and I see where I can change the layout colors, but the colors are not being carried over to the home page. How do I update the homepage header and menu background colors? Is there a template where I need to update inline styles? The sub pages are updating, just not the home page.

Hi, I have made several purchases of this template for sites I have built.. one of my sites has been taken down now and I’d like to use the template on another WP site. How do I go about this as I cannot find which download references which site? Sorry for messaging on here but I currently have no paid support.. Many thanks for your reply. It’s positive to hear that your theme will work with Elementor as the only page builder. Elementor also provide a Wordpress plugin through the repository that allows customisation of the header and footer.

There is also some code which the theme developer can include within theme so to allow, the theme to be fully responsive with Elementor and the Header and Footer plugin.

I would like to purchase your theme and use it with Elementor and not Visual Composer. But would also like to know is this code something you can include into the theme?
My issue with Visual Composer as a page builder is heavy and slow. It also leave a tone of code on the theme / web pages after it has been deactivated, not like other more uptodate page builders like Elementor or Beaver Builder to name a few.
I hope this is something you can help with.

I don’t think it’s going to be an issue to replace the theme’s header and footer area with the Elementor’s. The theme offers (on per page basis) an option to remove the header, bottom area(the one above the footer) and the footer itself. So, you’ll have to use this options to remove any one of these sections or all of them for a specific page, then you could insert the Elementor’s stuff using the theme’s appropriate action hooks for that, I can certainly point you in the right direction which hooks to use. P.S. Forgot to mention…, keep in mind that soon (probably within 6 months) WordPress will introduce a new editor in core called Gutenberg which pretty much will eliminate the need for page builders, I guess the WP community saw the void being filled by third party plugins like the ones mentioned above and decided to do something about it. More on that here – https://ma.tt/2017/08/we-called-it-gutenberg-for-a-reason/ I suppose if you had those page builder you could still continue to use them along side the WP core features but I just thought I’d mention that. That’s one of the reasons why I will not add any other page builders to the theme until I see how this unfolds.

I am working in this theme for a client at mylaundrylimo.com—I need to change the ‘copyright’ name at the very bottom from General Laundry Systems to a new company and cannot find this content in any of the active widgets. My theme’s options look is actually the WordPress default template for Settings Options pages with meta boxes! If they don’t like it it’s like saying they don’t like WordPress native look and feel for that. Anyhow, If your client is not happy and considering you just purchased it I’ll give you a refund. You responded very quickly, My client rejected order and no doubt will not pay due to delay+ your theme option looks, I tried my best to align this in a nice boxed layout but I was late. And just to take out my frustration more, the way to download theme demo is super, don’t know why you have made this so complected.
Most of my clients find it very easy and straight forward, not sure why you find it complicated. If you follow the import instructions it’s not. I almost never have complaints about that.

How to i apply for a refund???
The demo site U-FIT .WPRESS file don’t work. Only the main .wpress that comes in theme zip works. I wasted 4 hours trying to install.
Also u should have ALL files in ONE zip not external links to download extra styles not happy.
I had to visit external website to download the demo site demo data that is no good.

all demos import work fine, we have a support channel, if you have any issues you should create a ticket there so we can give you a hand. How we should or should not run things, zip files, or include demos is our business, every theme does it differently, but thanks for the advice.

Hello, I bought this theme some while ago but the project I got it for didn’t materialise. So I ended up not using it at all. However now I’m strongly considering upgrading from another theme to UDesign.
I spent considerable hours customising the other (very buggy) theme, and now I’m wondering what is the most optimal way I could make the switch to UDesign and lose as little work as possible?
PS: in the other theme I used Slider Rev on the homepage and Visual Composer for all the pages. I also used some custom theme modules for portfolio, services and portfolio + services pages. Thanks.

since you already have the theme sure, give it a try, my theme also offers Rev. slider and Visual Composer, although it’s possible the other theme might have custom built elements for VC which you’ll end up loosing, or maybe not. You could always clone your existing site to another location for testing. Hi, there are some fixes required, I’ve updated healthcoach to the latest and still found some missing items like http://udesigntheme.com/demos/healthcoach/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/newsletter3245__.jpg and there’s another background image which auto forwards to http://placehold.it/1x1/312105/e02f19/png&text=bg-top-tr+%281x1%29 making any SSL cert fail. until I removed that background image I couldn’t get green pad lock work. I hope it is fixed in the next update. Thanks

this demo has the actual images replaced with placeholder images so it’s normal to get those, please go ahead and replace those placeholder images with your own or simply remove them if you don’t need them.

I have a dropshipping plugin, alidropship. It imports products and variations from aliexpress. So i was wondering if it can be supported. I have SHOPiER and shoppystores themes and this feature only works on the shoppystore theme. So the guys at shopier disabled some code to make it work, but now the slider does not change the image automatically when i choose a color variation on product page
I’ve not tested it with any dropshipping plugin like alidropship, so I can’t tell you for sure but I can tell you that the theme doesn’t modify the WooCommerce default behaviour when it comes to the shop, cart and check out workflow, so if it works with the default WooCommerce then I don’t see why it would not work with WooCommerce and the U-Design theme.

1. can i send you the plugin to test? you just have to activate it and then see if a variation product works. For example when you click on a color, then diplayed product image should change to match the color or size selection.
2. Does the theme come with a “wide” view? the stuff on the demo of the woocommerce theme looks tiny. The text looks really tiny from a distance. Also, is it possible to have the search bar and a shopping cart readily available in the top header in mobile phone view (instead of bottom for search, and hidden menu for cart)
