Hello, I purchased the item and I just imported one of your demos, and even if I delete all pages and create a new one with the permalink “domain.com/artists”, wordpress makes it “domain.com/artists-2”. can you point me in the right direction to fix this?
And when I try to access domain.com/artists it shows 404 page not found: http://imgur.com/eDEExoH

Artists slug is reserved for the Custom post types archives.
But for the 3 pages that dont shows up, could you please open a support ticket at http://support.irontemplates.com and provide us access to your wp-admin and we will figure out the issues you have.

Please go to wp-admin>soundrise>custom css/js. And add this code:
.single-artist .page-title { margin-top: 100px; }
You can modify the margin-top value as you want.

Just purchased theme today. I can find no documentation for SoundRise on your support page(very troubling). I simply need to know where to down highly advertised demos supposedly available for this theme. Thank you.

You can find the documentation in the package file you have downloaded. Look inside folder “documentation”.
The best way to get started with our theme is to import the demo. Install the theme and its required plugins, then go to WP-Admin > Tools > Demo Content Install and you will see there all the demos available. Choose your favorite. Then you will only have to change the images, texts and color by your own assets.
Take note that when you import the demo, this completely swipe your actual content by the demo’s one. It’s often the best way to get started.
Also, our theme is powered by Visual Composer WordPress plugin. VC is a premium plugin (worth $34) which we have included for free in our theme that allows you to build your layout using a drag and drop editor. So to add modules to your homepage, you simply add new module and drag and drop where you want them. It’s pretty easy but it requires a little learning curve. You can learn more about Visual Composer and watch videos here: https://vc.wpbakery.com/video-tutorials/
In addition, we have included another premium and powerful plugin called Essential Grid (worth $26 but free with our theme) which allows you to display various content formats in a highly customizable grid. This documentation included only links to two of those six demos. Also, I had to completely reinstall Wordpress in order to get it to accept my server configurations. Now it has been hanging on “Database Restore” for an hour. That will hour 9 wasted. Thanks guys.

Hi there, For some reason, your server cant reach our server. You can disable the iron-demo-importer and the error message will disappear. But you will need help to import a demo content. Please open a support ticket at http://support.irontemplates.com and our support team will assist you. Don’t forget to provide us your URL address and access to your wp-admin. Hi Maxime. I found the cause of this problem. I use Amazon S3 for a demo unfortunately this does not work for waveforms. It’s sad. A lot of space needed for demo files on the hosting.
Probably an hthaccess thing where file header type are not received/allowed since you seem to host you audio files on a Different server. This can be technical but here’s a good read:

Unfortunately I don’t understand anything in technical parts. Do you plan to add support for Amazon S3 or any other alternatives like Soundcloud for your great theme?

The issue is not related to a particular server..its because you seem to try to host your mp3 files on another server than where your wordpress is hosted right ?
If its your case, my recommendation if you dont want to bother with technical server permission stuff, is that you host your file on the same wordpress environment.

Hi, thank you for a wonderful theme. It seems like the “videos” slug is reserved, and defaults to the “videos-list” view. Is there a way that I can have this default to the grid view? I’d like to keep my site’s links clean (i.e. mysite.com/videos rather than /videos-grid)
Hi there, Yes the videos slug is reserved and we cant change his template. You need to use a other slug as ”/media/videos” or “video”.

Thank you for the reply. I’m not asking if I can use the slug, I’m asking if I can change the behavior of my site when that slug is used in the url. Right now it defaults to the video-list view, and I’d like it to default to the video-grid view.
The videos slug will always display the video list template.

Hey guys, really interested in that theme. I have a quick question though. It seems like your are updating and developing this theme a lot (which I really like!). If I have this theme installed how difficult is it to update it to the current version? Do I have to manually do anything or make a backup and reupload content? How does this work?
And is it also possible to add this player at the bottom of the page to the vice or duotone theme? Thanks!

Thanks for your interest, In fact, we develop this theme a lot and will bring cool new features along the road.
Updates are easy. Basically, you just need to delete the actual theme files, and replace them with the updates. The easiest way to do it is via FTP where you rename your soundrise folder, then reupload the new theme (which is the update).
Also, some people use the Envato wordpress plugin to update their themes but personally, i dont like it.

Yes absolutely! You just have to add the audio player on your homepage then set it to auto-play. There is an option for that.
This theme is perfect . I just want to know if we can add pic gallery on artists page. I would like to see how it will look in it.
Yeah sure.
You can either add an instagram feed for a specific artists or implement a custom photo gallery using essential grid which is provided with out theme.

Thats great. And your theme is amazing . I want to make a site with lot of artists ( thousand of artists ) . So Can I use any membership plugin where artists have to pay for adding songs to their profile . Do you think those plugins will be compatible with this theme ? Thanks

For the membership plugin, I never tried it but they should works. Allowing users to add songs to their profiles might be a challenge if you never used it before tho. Unfortunately, such custom modification or plugin implementation is beyond the scope of our support.

SoundRise is based on the croma theme but with additional features.
Beside the look and feel of the demo (which is a great way to start your website by importing the demo of your choice), with SoundRise you can have very flexible footers. In fact, all the footers are done with Visual Composer, so it comes very handy to design the footer .
Also, SoundRise better support multiple artists. The theme is more designed for Music Label and producers than solo artist.

The waynoka is the demo’s logo and that font is not included. All other fonts are google fonts and they are included.
