Really happy with the theme, but am having an issue with the social media icons on the header and footer. Instead of linking to “Facebook.com/[business name]” it’s basically smashing the two URLs together and linking to “[businessname].com/Facebook.com/[BusinessName]”. Which obviously leads to an error page!
Has anyone seen this issue before and is there an easy fix? Thanks in advance!!

I think I get what you mean. Please make sure to type in http:// or https:// in front of the profile URLs. So it should be “https://facebook.com/[BusinessName]”

Is this theme fully compatible with Fancy Product Designer? I need to integrate the designer into the product page & the image needs to be updated when added into the cart. Appreciate your response. Thank You.

I am not being able to give you an accurate answer, we haven’t tested the plugin you’re mentioning. The best I can do is to confirm that we’re willing to give you a refund in you won’t be able to use Shopkeeper for your project.

That doesn’t seem to be the case at this end. Sounds like a site specific issues. You’d have to extend your support plan to submit a support request via https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help so we can assign a developer to help you with that.

Good to see you’ve figure out how to solve the fist thing. For the second, you could use a plugin such as Loco Translate or Say What to search for string of text and “translate” it into something that fits your needs best.

Hi,
Trying to find a way to remove the author name and link appearing on blog posts. For example a post has “Joe” as the author, which links to a page such as: https://www.mysite.com/author/Joe/
Can this be removed using PHP, not just by hiding it with CSS? Some Googling shows the code should be in single.php but it’s not in there.

There’s no built-in option for that, but you can choose to remove the whole meta-data, including the date and categories using the following snippet:
div.post_meta { display: none; }
It can be pasted in Appearance > Customize > Custom Coding, in the Custom CSS box.

Hope you are well. I realise I don’t currently have support for this theme, but I’m hoping this is a fatal bug for many rather than an issue specific to me.
Since the latest update, the theme has caused the WP Dashboard to be very slow. Now after uninstalling all of the plugins, I finally thought I’d try using the TwentyFifteen theme just to rule things out. Low and behold, query manager moves down from 30s loading time to 1 or 2s. It’s extremely frustrating but seems to be an issue with the theme.
If you can let me know what the status is. If this is not a fatal bug, please let me know and I can be in touch for what happens next.

I bought this item a few months ago thinking it would suit a site I was working on, but client went another direction and I am only now using it on a site, but cannot access support as it has expired. I need some advice on certain elements (jumping header, layout changing from fullwidth to boxed, sections being pushed to centre when they shouldn’t etc.) but I don’t know where to get the help….it seems like an issue with the theme, but I could be wrong? Help?

Yes, the included support plan does expire after 6 months and if you need help from the support team you’ll need to extend the support plan. Since you don’t have a specific question I can only tell you that we’re not aware about any issues that would stop you from using the theme in any way. Please just make sure to use the latest version of the theme as well as the latest version of the plugins you’re using.

Before updating, please just make sure you’re using the latest version of the Get Bowtied Tools plugin. You can grab it from here: http://api.getbowtied.com/v2/getbowtied-tools/getbowtied-tools.zip then try again.

Hmm…that’s weird, we’re not aware about any issues with that. Please check and make sure this isn’t related to some 3rd party plugin you may be using.

I just purchased and installed Shopkeeper Theme, I got a successful install, but when I tried to activate the theme, I got this message “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/29/8927029/html/lilydelavie.com/wp-content/themes/shopkeeper/settings/kirki.config.php on line 31” Now I can’t access my WP site at all.

Hi there I have some issues with the theme on iPhone 4s, the menu in the header is not responding at all and the same is for the picture preview in product page, it doesn’t respond when swipe if you want to see the product images.
I have this theme for ages, I will not renew the support unless there is a way to fix it. The menu issue was always there on my iPhone 4S since I remember, it either didn’t respond or it responded on double click, sometimes it worked when the theme was updated but the issue comes and goes, now on top of that is the problem with the product preview,,,The thing is that I tested it on Samsung mobile and it works perfectly fine, also on my Wacom tablet it does work, it looks like that the issue is on old devices like iPhone 4S, I tried to instal chrome on iPhone 4S to see if it is safari but it doesn’t work either on chrome. It really bothers me cause I have been dealing with this on regular basis. I don’t find it fair to pay for support for such an issue, it looks like that you forgot to keep the old devices in mind.

Don’t need to renew your support plan for this. I’ve forwarded your note to our developers and they’ll do their best to find a way to improve the experience for older mobile devices as well. I don’t have and estimated time of arrival for this update but as always, we’re doing our best to improve with each update.
