Hi there, first thank you for the purchase and the good words.
CTA button – the button text is edited with Visual Composer from the field Title (it’s the first field from the top).
Feature Hover Box – the gap shows because the icons are not of the same type, the first icon is from the et line icons but most of the icons are from linea icons, make all the icons of the same type, also try to keep the text to 3 lines it looks better.

I am glad that the first problem was solved.
For the portfolio, you add the items as Visual Composer elements it’s easier for organization than custom post type. First, you need Portfolio Gird VC element, when you edit that element change the filters for sorting the portfolio items, at the end of the settings you can change the “all” text. Inside the Portfolio Grid, you add the images.
The blog “Read More” button – there is no setting for this currently in the Theme Options, but will be added in the next update. To change the color of the button, you do that from Theme Options > Button Styles > Standard Buttons.
But in the meantime to change the text, go to Appearance > Editor > functions-filters.php, find where it says __( ‘Read More’, ‘definity’ ) and replace only the read more text inside the quotes.

In portfolio, the filtername “GRAFISK DESIGN” does not seem to work?
You need to tag each portfolio item with filter name that you have already added in portfolio grid grouping element, make sure the name is exactly the same.
Example for multiple filters: photography, print
P.S. “GRAFISK DESIGN” won’t work with whitespace like that, that is two filters graphic and design, make sure is one word or in your case can be “GDESIGN”.
Solved What about the responsive issue with the slider?
Oh, I’ve missed that sorry.
That is because you don’t have the Slider Revolution slider that you’ve created configured properly. Use the slider “Full Width Slider” as a starting point (import it) then delete the slides there and add your content, keep only one slide, or see the settings and add it to your slider.

Hi there, some sliders have dark transparent overlay added with CSS over the image, in the slider settings when you scroll down, there is a css rules, delete them to remove the dark layer over the image.

Also when I have changed to url to domain name, visual composer does not seem to work 100% Like no edit buttons is visable and I am not able to add new stuff when trying to use VC.
Can you explain more about the problem with the images or share screenshot to see it in more detail.
For the domain change, WordPress is domain dependent system and works on the domain where is installed to, if you change the domain that will create conflicts throughout the CMS and the plugins installed, The correct workflow for this would be to migrate/clone the website from the staged installation to the production installation.

I have installed maybe over 100wp like this and never had any issue with VC.
Where can I change the map text “SHOW INFO”
From Contact Layout Settings > Map Options > Show map button and Hide map button are filed for changing that text.

q1) You can’t access the WP admin area before purchasing the theme.
q2) The theme comes with full multi lang support, every visual composer element is translatable (tested with WPML plugin).
q3) You can fully customize the theme and all it’s VC elements with custom colors, fonts and images. You can change everything.

Our client would prefer to make changes themselves where possible & we would like them to be able to make these changes in the frontend editor to minimise their chances to mess with the overall layout.

Currently, the frontend editor for Visual Composer plugin is not supported, because is not on the level of quality like the rest of the plugin.
I can tell you how to enable it, but I recommend strongly against it, also support doesn’t cover the VC frontend part or any other theme (code) edit.

Hello, I have some questions about how to do parallax images like you have in your Main Demo OP. What visual composer object would I use because I don’t see an option for parallax.
Also, I have a very image heavy site and it is causing issues loading. For your full width image components, what size would you recommend the images be to make sure that they always show full width but don’t cause issues from a loading perspective.
Finally, I am seeing some issues with the loading overlay on Firefox, Safari and mobile safari. The design seems to be broken there

q1) I am glad that you’ve found the solution for the first question, the documentation goes into detail about the theme.
q2) The best way for this is to have different images for a different device and load them with media queries, but you are using the WP version and that requires lots of code.
What you can do is use .jpg format images and run lossy minification(compression) this will drastically lower the size of the image if they are .jpg (- 80%).
The size I would recommend if the one used in the demo.
q3) Do this issues happen in the demo? And can you point out the page where they are happening and the device/browser used?

Hi Viktor, q1 and q2 are now solved. I’m still seeing an issue where the loading page icon turns into a folding system icon on Safari & FFX. I don’t see it in the demo though. Are there any special configurations relative to the loading overlay for the demo?

I saw it quickly, that is the icon of the Slider Revolution plugin, it loads the Slider Revolution content, I think they have somewhere in the settings to disable it.

But unfortunately, after hours of researches and many tries we weren’t able to make the hover effect like on your slider. We can only make it completely visible, not only on hover like yours, and we are particularly found of it.

Hi there, first thank you for the good words & the purchase. Currently, that effect was not possible to implement on the WordPress version with Slider Revolution plugin and the theme still be 100% editable, so that feature was moved for next update.

You have two ways to solve this:
1) add the page in the drop-down menu, and use the top menu item for organization only;
2) have the Max Mega Menu plugin enabled, add the page in the drop-down menu. Then when you hover over the menu item click on the blue mega menu setting button (Appearance>Menus), then check show only on mobile;

bg videos don’t autoplay on mobile devices in order to save battery, that is disabled by the manufacturer of the mobile phone and there is no workaround this.
You can replace the background video with image, can you be more specific what element is in question?
there is an animated background behind the Watch our Video section on the home page? where that background is coming from?
If you talking about the section “SHOW YOUR STORY WITH DEFINITY” with the play button for additional video, the video is added from the row settings. From the column settings, is added background as a transparent layer over the video, in order to darken the video bg.
Hello. I’ve juse bought theme. I saw that Slider Revolution and visiual composer is in a package. But I can’t get acces to Slider Revolution thus all sliderders doesnt work. Can you explain how I can get access to them?

The theme comes with a help file, there is a detailed explanation how to install all the plugins that come with under Getting Started>Plugin Installation. Please read the help file in order to use the theme.
Also, the Visual Composer & Slider Revolution come bundled with the theme, you can install them manually but is not recommended (only use it in cases if you have problems with the auto installer) they are located in the theme folder defintiy>inc>plugins>revsldier.zip & js_composer.zip
After that, you can import the sliders or the slider that you like from the main folder (not theme folder) >assets>slider revolution>exports>YOUR_SLIDER_NAME.zip there is also an explanation in detail in the documentation about this.

Hi, your logo is too tall, that is the problem, it is not responsive because for example, if you have a different type of logo – text and is smaller one responsiveness, in that case, would make the text unreadable so is a bad practice to make the logo responsive.
You should modify your logo to be 65px in height and keep the aspect ratio, or modify the code of the theme and increase the size of the navbar for mobile devices.
Video Bg – video background (autoplay) is disabled on mobile devices by the manufacturer to save battery, you should add a regular background for mobile devices.

Currently, there is no option to edit the logo size (it’s set to default max height of 40px). This option will be added in the next update, in the meantime, you can add this code in Appearance>Editor>(find stylesheet style.css) and at the bottom paste the following code:
.navbar .navbar-header .navbar-brand {
padding:0;
}
.navbar .navbar-header .navbar-brand .navbar-logo {
max-height: 86px;
}
.navbar-collapse {
margin-top: 12px;
}
This will increase the logo height to 86px and modify the navbar accordingly.

Thnx , yes that did help (i changed the margin top to 22px) but when i change the option to ‘Enable Sticky Navigation’, as soon as i scroll the menu bar seems to decrease by approx 2 px… do u know why..thnx again
And one more question the picture that come with the rev slider. am i allowed to use these for my site (fe. the laptop with hands, coffee cup and camera)? thnx again in advance.

Hi Viktor, i have 2 probs.

1. The “Sticky Nav” is for a smaller type of logos and if you have a bigger logo I would recommend to not use that setting, at least till the update comes out (hopefully this weekend). Also, can you explain in more detail what doesn’t work on mobile exactly?
2. For the “Feature Cards” VC element, when you edit the element, at the end there is “Link” setting, that is the one that changes the text “Learn More”.

I’m trying to import the Revolution Sliders (as described in the documentation), but when I choose the slider (zip file) and click “Import slider” it redirects me to a <domain>/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php page with abig and red 404 error where the slider should be (and the slider is not imported at all in the Revolution Slider section of Wordpress).
Am I doing something wrong? How can I import them?

Hi, make sure you are following this process:
1) Deactivate & delete the Slider Revolution plugin;
2) Re-install the plugin & activate it manually or from Appearance > Install Plugins;
3) Navigate to Slider Revolution > Slider Revolution > Import Slider > Chose File;
4) From the main folder downloaded, navigate to: assets>slider revoltion>exports>revslider-DESIRED-SLIDER-NAME.zip
4.1) You can copy the exported slider to the desktop first for easier way to find it, for step 3.
P.S. Import the sliders one by one, or just the one you need.
It still doesn’t work. Deactivated and deleted, reinstalled (manually from the Definity theme package), but still getting the 404 page when importing sliders. Tried also installing it from Appearance > Install plugins and activating it. Everything seems to work fine in both cases (I can create new sliders, for example), but can’t import any…
Can you try to import another slider, if that doesn’t work re-download the theme again and try to import the sliders from the new download (there is a small chance that the zip file was broken with the download).

thanks, another prob with drop down menu main item as it does not click instead on mouse over it displays drop down menu. How can I make it clickable as well so that it loads actual page… see button about us. thanks
Currently, the menu dropdown works on click and also on hover there is no option to disable the hover and works only on click. The top menu items work like they should even if dropdown menu is shown, the top menu is still clickable and can lead to other page if is setup that way.
This option to enable/disable the showing of dropdowns on click or hover will be added in future update.
P.S. the Max Mega Menu plugin when activated will allow setting to show the dropdown menus only on click instead of hover. This setting is located in Appearance > Menus > Max Mega Menu Settings > Event > Hover (change to Click).
i have increased the height of the header to accommodate the logo and it has affected the breadcrumb height as header is overlapping the breadcrum. how can i fix this issue. please see any other page on the same link. thanks
This is because the Sticky Navigation is enabled in Theme Options under Header tab, and in your current situation because the logo is bigger it makes the navbar bigger and it overlaps larger portion from the page title section (with the breadcrumbs).
Disable the “Enable Sticky Navigation” setting in Theme Options>Header, this will resolve the problem, but the menu will stay at the top (it won’t scroll with the page).

Hello! I’m having an issue when trying to Activate the WPBakery Visual Composer. It appears as pre-packaged, but when I try to Activate it it gets me to a Wordpress empty screen (the one that summarizes the actions results, but empty), and the plugin does not get activated.
How can I fix this?

This is strange, can you tell me if you are using the theme on new WP installation or existing one?
There is another way to install and pre-packaged plugins – manually:,
1) Locate the theme folder “definity”;
2) Navigate to definity>inc>plugins>js_composer.zip;
3) Copy the js_composer.zip to your desktop (this is the Visual Composer plugin);
4) Now from the WordPress dashboard navigate Plugins>Add New>Upload Plugin>upload the js_composer.zip (from the desktop);
5) Install & Activate

In the help folder there detailed guide with instruction how to import the demo data (under Getting Started > Import Demo Data)
The actual XML file for the demo data is in: main folder > assets > demo > definity-wp-demo-data.xml
But first, make sure to read the instructions from the help file.

Can you explain more where the problem arises so you can not install the demo data?
There is a detailed guide how to import (install) the demo data in the documentation (help folder, under Getting Started > Import Demo Data).
Plase also note that this process takes time (depending on your internet connection 10 – 30 min) so it’s important to not close the browser tab when this process takes place and also don’t work on the website.
